12/02/2026: The taste of quality - and fantastic service..

10/01/2026: When I first visited Denmark, my father-in-law took me to eat at this place and try the traditional hot dog. This last time, we went for his funeral, and I remembered with great nostalgia the lessons he taught me about the Danish food he loved. This place will remain in my memory with great affection.

31/12/2025: Delicious products on all shelves and Lars is both good and sweet to help - whether it's just a coffee to-go, the beer assortment for the home that needs to be filled or a wine for Christmas Eve - it's spot on. In addition, Haandpluk can also handle a bite to eat to satisfy your hunger.

13/10/2025: Food is probably a lot to say and I only had one cup of coffee... but listen here ❤️ it's worth driving for. You can get both beer and Irish wine - and if you have a weakness for board games, you've come to the right place.

13/08/2026: We arrived just before closing time, but received the best service and were able to eat in peace and quiet. Lovely place, good pizza. We will be back.

01/03/2026: New Year's Eve! Good food, good and punctual service. Entertainment, music, laughter and good room temperature. Made it a super pleasure! Not the last time they see me, the colleagues and the atmosphere!

22/02/2026: Was in the restaurant on the 1st floor. Had the 3 course 'Chef's choice' menu with wine menu. Lovely food, wine and good service.

24/07/2026: Wonderful place just a few hundred meters from the beach. We stayed in a small apartment, privately owned. Nice atmosphere and very quiet around the premises.

15/05/2026: When you stay at this hotel you are one of the many guests that stayed here since it opened 130 years ago which will be celebrated on July 2025. ​The history began on June 26, 1896, when developer Hildur Bang officially inaugurated what was then called Vesterhavsbadet Tannishus. The architecture drew inspiration from the 16th-century manor house Nørre Elkjær, which was owned by Hildur’s father. ​When it first opened, the hotel featured just one main wing with 13 rooms and a dining room, accommodating around 40 to 50 guests. At the time, terms like "guesthouse for bathing guests" (badehotel) were completely new, establishing Tannishus as one of the pioneers of the Danish seaside holiday movement. ​In January 1921, Ingeborg Skaun purchased the hotel, managing it for the next 42 years. Under her leadership, the hotel flourished and expanded. She built the Junkerfløj wing and added a tennis court in 1935. At that time ​wealthy guests from Copenhagen were picked up by carriage or car at the train station in nearby Sindal. ​Traditions were strict and guests spent weeks at the hotel year after year. ​Later new wings were added while strictly ensuring that all modernizations remained on the footprints of the original buildings to safeguard its historic spirit. I had a pleasant stay in on of the appartments which was nicely furnished and featured a complete kitchen with a small oven and a fridge. You sleep on couches that you convert into a bed. Bed linen and towels are not included in the price. This is because guests who stay for weeks bring their own. You can rent bed linen and towels from the hotel. I used a good hot sauna and a nice swimmingpool. ​

07/05/2026: We have visited the restaurant twice. The first time we had a hot dish, which was very delicious. The second time we ate very nice and fresh sushi. We will be happy to come again.

28/04/2026: The food was delicious, it was nice and quiet, lovely sun and very friendly owner. Even allowed to borrow a charger when my phone died, 9/10 experience!

15/07/2026: The restaurant is quite large (former Aldi building) so even though we hadn't booked a table this Tuesday during the summer holidays there were seats in the half-full restaurant. The buffet food was good and the selection was large and delicious. I would rate the food quality at the high end. When a plate was empty it was quickly filled with freshly cooked food in not too large quantities. I liked that so the food didn't sit around for too long. The staff were quick to pick up used dishes. There was a large selection of ice cream to choose from. Maybe 10-15 flavours and fruit salad and other things to supplement with. I didn't get to taste Mongolian because I was so full but tried Sushi and it was very delicious and fresh even though I'm not a big fish eater. We paid 528 kr for an adult and a 12 year old for the buffet and drinks.

24/07/2026: It is without a doubt the worst durum I have ever tasted in my life. I ordered a durum with chicken kebab, while my friend got one with a regular kebab. Already at the first bite it was almost just pure fat, and the rest of the durum really did not taste good. The bread, if you can even call it bread, seemed like ordinary tortillas from Netto, and they had not even been warmed up. The result was therefore a completely cold durum when I got it in my hand. It is simply not okay. As if that were not enough, the toilet also looked like something that was a lie when I went out there. All in all, a really bad experience, and I will definitely not come back.

31/05/2026: The food was decent compared to prove. Service was minimal. Atmosphere was stressful. I recommend takeaway and then eating at the park bench 50 m away.

23/08/2026: Best sushi and chocolate mousse we've ever had. And we wish they were also located in Copenhagen. Not the last time we set foot there if we're in North Jutland again. Service was super good and I don't think we've ever gotten our food so fast in an All you can eat before. Simply a fantastic place.

26/08/2026: We had dinner near my daughter's house at an Italian restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. In fact, we loved the lamb chops, cooked to perfection and truly delicious. I highly recommend them. The pizza was also excellent, thin, just the way we like it. Perhaps a little too much buffalo mozzarella. The prices are a bit high, but the ingredients are excellent.

19/08/2026: Really good and authentic restaurant experience! The starter was fantastic – a fresh salad served with good bread and really good olive oil. The main course, saltimbocca, was simply excellent, and the tiramisu tasted fantastic. Also a delicious Ripasso and really good, personal service. You felt really welcome. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹🍷
