06/08/2025: Lovely dining experience with lots of flavor and finesse👌 We had a wonderful experience with both top-class food and wine. The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked – and that’s saying something! The shooting star was a feast for the eyes with lots of garnishes and delicious details. The crispy fish was perfectly cooked, and the two types of dressings served on the side gave the opportunity to adjust the taste – a lovely detail. The fresh shrimp, salmon, crispy salads and greens on top lifted everything to a really high level. The moules frites were served in a different, slightly more creamy and spicy version than the classic one – and it worked wonderfully. The thick sauce had a lovely depth and flavor, and the fresh herbs on top gave a fresh lift. The root vegetables were a surprising and successful addition – still with bite and lots of flavor. At the bottom was a flavorful soup. The fries were crispy, spicy and perfect with the homemade aioli – a great match for the mussels and a must for the dish. All in all a wonderful, wonderful evening with lovely wine, beautifully prepared food - GREAT. That being said, we have been there before where it wasn't quite as good! Fluctuating quality? .. not this time. We will be back soon.

01/08/2025: Really good food. However, the fish on the shooting star was very oily and the edge of the wiener schnitzel was dry, but the rest was very good.

28/07/2025: It says they close at 10pm. Called at 9:15pm to order food, but was told the kitchen had closed 1 hour earlier (there's nothing about that under their opening hours on the website!). Because of them and the fact that we had spent time choosing what to have from them, we couldn't order from anywhere else. Will never order from here again.

25/03/2025: I can only say that it can be highly recommended... Really good service and a really good atmosphere.... The food is nice and warm on arrival, just like you take it out of the pot at home and it tastes really good...

13/07/2025: We are delighted with our experience. Sleeping in this hotel is like stepping back in time, the perfect frame of mind for a visit to the museum and the house of Anna and Mickael Ancher. This experience requires tolerance for the imperfections of the building, which charmed us with its authenticity.

09/07/2025: Took the most expensive room in Admiralgaarden. The room was very worn, lots of water leaks on the wallpaper and ceiling. The bathroom is very old and unfresh. Smelled of drains and paint peeling everywhere both inside and out. The service was decent, but amateurish - for example, they came to clean 10 minutes before check-out while we were still in the room. Just opened the door and didn't knock first. Things like that make you feel like it's run a bit unprofessionally. The breakfast was delicious but a lot of it ran out all the time. But the breakfast was the best thing about the place. Had lunch (breakfast) too and it was overpriced and the open sandwiches much worse than you get in other similar places.

30/07/2025: Food and waiters are top notch. But I simply don't understand why you stay open until 9pm when you remove the sunroof at 8:15pm and the cool wind comes whizzing by and starts sweeping and throwing tables and chairs around. Then you don't feel very welcome. So close at 8pm if you want to go home earlier

19/04/2025: Meget hyggelig café med borde og handel mellem hinanden. Pynteting og porcelæn. Meget fin betjening og gode café retter. Vi fik cæsar salat og clubsandwich, begge dele lækkert og friskt. Fornuftige priser.
