19/04/2025: Nice and friendly pizza guy, they only take cash normally. The food tasted good and the portion was a good size. Should probably pay for tomato sauce for my calzone, otherwise usually and follow along normally. But other than that it was fine.

23/12/2024: I have been a customer here for several years, everything is up to quality, they treat their guests with respect and there is always service with a smile.

29/05/2025: Top marks from start to finish! Perfect service and exciting appetizers that are a delight for both the eye and the palate. Fusion. Flavors that develop in the mouth in a way we have never experienced before. Excellent specially selected wines that were served by the knowledgeable staff before each course. We were treated to a specially composed eight-course meal and we left full and smiling. Next time we will bring some friends so this is something to experience. Table reservations are recommended. Note that you can book with an end time. Perfect when you are going to a later event. Namnam.

22/11/2024: Stavros og Mikala har indrettet et spændende og indbydende galleri, der samtidig tjener som restaurant. Vi have tilmeldt os en aften med iransk mad, og det var der kun ét andet par der have gjort denne kolde novemberaften. Værterne havde som den selvfølgeligste ting i verden dækket op til alle fire ved et bord i det ene hjørne af det store galleri. Det gav anledning til en hyggelig aften med gode snakke om Tversted, det nordligste Vendsyssel og vores respektive tilknytninger til området. Den iranske mad var helt i top og bestod af en buffet - serveret på bordet - af lækker salat med feta-lignende ost, en ovnret med velkrydret aubergine som hovedingrediens, en gryderet med kylling, samt tilbehør af stegte ris og usædvanligt velsmagende surdejsbrød, som man godt kunne være fristet til at spise sig mæt i. Retterne udsprang helt sikkert af persisk tradition, men mærkbart set gennem kokkens græske øjne. Til maden drak vi husets meget velsmagende hvidvin. Til dessert blev der serveret kaffe/te og kage på kopper, tallerkner og fade af guldrandet porcelæn, som det bedste et hus her i området ville kunne byde sine gæster for 60-70 år siden. Prisen - 760 kr. alt incl. - for to! Det var en dejlig aften, og vi kommer helt sikkert igen, næste gang vi er på disse kanter. Stedet kan absolut anbefales.

22/10/2024: Fantastisk mad i sjovt galleri med vild, moderne kunst! En fryd for øje og gane! At kokken selv serverer og forklarer giver en særlig oplevelse. Vi kommer igen!

18/05/2025: 2nd time I've visited the place.. My friend and I had bought a deal for a sandwich buffet.. 😉 The sandwiches are good and nicely decorated.. Especially the mashed potatoes are a big hit.. Ate 3 of them.. 😋 🥰 Will definitely come again..

21/02/2025: In Lions Budolfi we hold monthly meetings there. Eat there every time. Really delicious food and really good service. Can be recommended

10/11/2024: Was at a memorial service after a funeral. The room was cozy and bright, a good setting for getting together after a sad event. The service was excellent and welcoming. Delicious steaks were served with fantastic toppings from the local butcher, as well as home-smoked salmon mixed with cottage cheese. For the coffee, there were home-baked cinnamon sticks. So a really good experience 👍

23/01/2025: I stopped by for a quick dinner and was not disappointed. The employees there are very helpful and chatty. I ordered a margarita pizza and it was delish. It took under 10 min to make the pizza.

12/11/2024: If your Italian heart is missing some homely comfort food, drop by La Bottega. Possibility to buy freshly made pizza and panini. Various fresh Italian sausages and cold meats, as well as fresh olives and cheeses. Possibility to buy freshly baked bread, and not least the shelves full of Italian wines and olive oils. A few seats where you can enjoy the freshly made pizza, and a good atmosphere with Italian radio in the speakers.

25/09/2024: Fantastically delicious tapas dish to-go with a varied assortment of various toppings accompanied by a delicious light bread 👌😊 We chose to buy two different foccaccia at the same time, and they were also super tasty and delicious 🥰 Hurry up and try La Bottega. I've heard they're sadly closing soon, so hurry!

15/04/2025: Had booked a table on Saturday 12-3 the same day as the concert. There were far too few staff, it took an hour and a half before we got something to eat, and when it came it was cold. It was definitely not a good experience.

31/03/2025: A cold Sunday evening in March was transformed into a cozy evening with an inviting and extremely tasty tapas buffet. Very delicious to choose from so you had to prioritize between the delicacies. Can highly recommend Restaurant Nordstjernen and would like to come again when we are in the area again.

SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA spaghetti with bacon, fresh eggs, cream sauce and Parmesan cheese Price 99,- I expect an okay pasta carbonara, albeit with cream, but now that it says it's with cream, it's perfectly okay. BUT, what on earth is nutmeg supposed to do in a carbonara???? Not only that there was so much nutmeg that it tasted like perfume, my mouth is completely numb, I really hope someone has mistaken the pepper and nutmeg somehow. Damn, I'm sick of this right, practice, practice, practice. The phone was answered by a girl who could not understand taking an order, I speak or clearly. Then I got a nice lady who took the order right away. She also served me in the restaurant, at pickup, incredibly welcoming and friendly, good service and pleasant. The premises are bright and comfortable. Nice furniture, cozy surroundings.

11/05/2025: We went out to eat today on Mother's Day did not get what was ordered and the steak ordered medium got a completely red with lots of fat and full of later

From the first moment, you feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the passionate staff ensure a fantastic experience. The seafood buffet is an exquisite journey through taste and quality. Each dish is well prepared with fresh ingredients and it is clear that the chefs put a lot of love into their craft. From juicy prawns and delicate mussels to perfectly prepared fish—the buffet offers a wonderful variety where every seafood lover will find their favourites. The wine menu is carefully selected and offers wonderful wines that complement the meal. A small detail that could enhance the experience further is a brief description of the wines with recommendations for the various dishes. But that doesn't take anything away from the overall experience, which is undoubtedly among the best you can get when it comes to seafood. Restaurant Munch is a place you leave with great satisfaction and a desire to return soon. Highly recommended! 🍷🍽️

07/05/2025: Vi besøgte Restaurant Munch i Tornby til frokost og blev mødt af en frokostanretning i absolut topklasse. Alt var tilberedt med omhu og præsenteret med øje for detaljen: Smør drysset med urter fra et lokalt gartneri, velsmagende kød og oste af høj kvalitet, tre slags friskbagt brød og en æbletærte, der rundede måltidet af på smukkeste vis – serveret med sort, skoldhed kaffe. Servicen var i særklasse. Vi følte os velkomne og godt taget hånd om hele vejen igennem. Et sted vi varmt kan anbefale, hvis man sætter pris på ærlig mad, gode råvarer og nærværende betjening.
