21/08/2025: A wonderfully well-maintained hotel, where you can feel the owners' passion and love for their work. Niels and Connie Olesen make every guest feel welcomed and pampered. The breakfast is among the best we've ever had, both for the quality of the ingredients and the wide variety offered. The rooms are new, modern, and impeccably clean. A truly recommended property. 20/07/2026: Ordered kebab with fries, it was the worst kebab I've ever had, the salad I got with it was awful, the "fries" were way too thick to go with a kebab, and the kebab wasn't the best quality. It's the ONLY kebab I've ever ordered where I haven't eaten the whole thing because it was so bad.

04/03/2026: In connection with my father's funeral, I had to find a place where we could gather afterwards. The choice fell on the orchid. And it was just what we had hoped for. Lovely lunch table and cake afterwards. The surroundings were cozy and there was plenty of space. It was nice but unpretentious and just as it should be. Sanne was super sweet the whole way through. Not least when we had to move the event at short notice (hours before) due to the snowstorm. Really nice with flexibility and friendliness in such a situation. Can only recommend the orchid.

08/08/2026: Not an experience you want to try again. After we entered the door, we went straight to the long side before there was contact with the staff. Who were more busy standing and talking. But when we are finally met, it is with smiles and good humor. We are given some menus, here you just had doubts whether you had come to Ibiza or. Plastic folder with crumpled pages, and a little colorful advertisements for drinks and cocktails. Well, we had actually read that they were going to have a killer steak sandwich, I order that and the wife orders fish n chips. We also ordered 2 x 0.5 ltr beers and a glass of water. Total price a little over 500 kr. quite ok. The food actually came quite quickly, it was delicious when you were hungry. Fish n chips - clearly visible that it is a finished product. Sauce tartare is served with this, and a mysterious potato product that was described as french fries. (Quantity ok) Steak sandwich - the steak was cooked through, the sauce was separated, the homemade roasted onions were rock hard. And the dish was not hot hot, as you would expect with brown sauce. The same strange potato stuff (Quantity ok) The so-called French fries are served in a mini version of a deep fryer, very cute, but when there is no plate underneath, grease runs out on the table, and hits your clothes. We felt a bit trapped in a tourist trap, where both the locals, food and service, radiated indifference. The premises are worn and sad The food is just, yes indifferent and does not leave you wanting more Service, yes actually smiling and happy when you finally had contact, but it was very sporadic. Too bad that the young people are not trained in good service, which makes a world of difference. I would probably recommend trying something else

08/07/2026: Had open sandwiches for two here. Great premises with a view over the harbour. Small menu with only five open sandwiches. But what quality. Small works of art each. Very tasty and stimulated all the senses. Highly recommended. Very few places are at that level. Small but good wine list.

23/05/2026: Small cozy restaurant with a beautiful view of the Limfjord. We had open sandwiches, which were both tasty, creative and a little different in just the right way. A place that is definitely recommended.

05/06/2026: We visited Rositas Bistro on a quiet Thursday evening, where we were actually the only table. It didn't bother us at all. The rooms are small and cozy, and the atmosphere was nice despite the quiet evening. If the place had been bigger, it would have felt a bit empty, but here it suited the setting just fine. We had chosen their 12-course tasting menu, and it was a really good experience. The service was pleasant and relaxed, and the food was really well-prepared French bistro food with a clear focus on good ingredients. Each dish had the impression that both taste and quality had been thought about. A small note at the end: it might have been so quiet precisely because it appears on both Google and Instagram that they are only open Friday and Saturday. They are open from Wednesday to Saturday, so it might be a good idea to get it corrected if the plan is to stay open on those days, otherwise you will miss out on guests who think they are closed. A clear recommendation from here if you are looking for a cozy evening with good food in an intimate setting.

05/06/2026: The food was really good and delicious. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, we only found out when paying that they only accepted Mobilepay (which we didn't have as tourists) or cash. We were very surprised by this, since you can usually pay by credit card at any small village bakery. So we had to pay in cash with euros. Luckily, we had some euros with us.

13/07/2026: Nice and cozy restaurant! Dogs are allowed (at least if you sit outside), and for a fee, you can refill your drinks. The food is tasty and has a nice American vibe.

01/08/2026: The view is fantastic, hence the two stars, but the service is abysmal! We were there around 5 p.m., and I certainly understand that the kitchen is closed in the afternoon, but I don't understand why they couldn't even offer hot drinks. And I absolutely don't understand why the grumpy man (I hesitate to call him "Mr.") who "served" us, after already telling my husband that our table was reserved for the evening, felt the need to utter the following remark in a very unfriendly tone when serving our two drinks: "But I need the table in an hour!" In other words: Make sure you finish your wine and cocktail by then, and then get lost! If you don't want to run a restaurant in a tourist destination and aren't even capable of displaying professional friendliness, let alone genuine friendliness, even during busy times, you should give it up. I, for one, thank you very much for this "warm welcome" (sarcasm off), which thoroughly ruined my mood for the following hours. Rest assured, your tables are safe from me, because I will definitely not be coming back!

31/07/2026: From Denmark's best shooting star to an expensive backdrop.. Rating: 1/5 stars We chose to drive relatively far with a very specific goal in mind: to eat a delicious lunch at Restaurant Futten. Two years ago I had the absolute best shooting star I've ever tasted here. At the time, the price of 275 kr. was on the expensive side, but it was worth every penny. Unfortunately, the experience today was a definite slap in the face for the guests. Whether a new chef has taken over and lost all sense of joy in food, I can't say, but you'll have to look for a long time for a truly incomparable sad affair - at exactly the same high price. The fish was completely tasteless, there were almost no shrimp, and on top were a few sad, boring asparagus in a desperate attempt to decorate the hideous painting. At the same time, it seemed as if the entire plate had been in the dryer for a while and had shrunk to nothing. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's lunch steak didn't make it any better. The steak was so tough it was like an old shoe sole, and the potatoes were so hard and dry that they could almost be used as a throwing weapon. Yes, you have beautiful premises and a nice terrace, but when the food fails so fatally, it all just becomes a dry and boring backdrop. The dream of the fantastic shooting star is unfortunately dead - you had it in your hands, but threw it all away. Unfortunately, we won't be back.
