16/03/2025: On Friday 14/3-2025 at 16.20 I witnessed a group of young happy people giving cinnamon to one of their friends when he turned 25. It took place at Stjernepladsen, where Pingvin is located. They barely manage to get started before a completely insane man comes out of the restaurant and verbally attacks them with threats of a police report if they don't immediately disappear and stop. He makes condescending and racist remarks to a man (such as tyksak, you're probably not from Denmark and you should go home and do some angel jumps). I assume he is connected to Pingvin as he mentions that their guests should not sit in cinnamon. It must be said that the pole the birthday boy is taped to is approx. 15 m from the restaurant and temperature 3 degrees so there is no outside serving and moreover I could not see any guests inside either. After the cinnamon session is over, he follows the birthday boy and videotapes him all the way into his private apartment, which is located at street level. I had otherwise booked a table at Pingvin, where I was to celebrate my 60th birthday on 4/4-2025, but after this experience, I have chosen to book a table at another restaurant in the city, because I don't dare to think if one of my guests were to knock over a glass of wine or drop some cutlery on the floor, what it could then develop into. Finally, I would like to add that the owner of Pingvin witnessed the episode from inside the restaurant and did not react to it. I can't review the food and never will.

03/03/2025: Hyggeligt sted og god atmosfære, samt rigtig god betjening fra de venlige tjenere. Maden blev man ikke blæst bagover af. Det var bestemt ikke ringe, men jeg kunne sagtens have kokkereret noget mere spændende selv. For 275 kroner (plus drikkevarer), havde jeg forventet mere. 100 kroner billigere havde været passende.

11/01/2025: Jag var färdig med museet och tänkte ta en öl i väntan på familjen skulle bli klara. Fick vet av en i personalen att restaurangen var på väg att stänga men fick ändå köpa en öl (i plastglas) och ta med ut på terrassen vilket var vänligt och tillmötesgående av dem.

06/10/2024: Very cozy restaurant in an unexpected place for me. We were also helped very nicely by the waiter. He was very concerned about my health 😉

11/11/2024: Had a nice experience of the place even though we came out of season and just wanted something delicious for the palate, so they put something together and we got good service so all in all a good experience 👍

05/11/2024: There is a really cozy atmosphere. We were down to get roast pork. We got the small portion and even though we were hungry and it tasted great, we couldn't finish it. Dessert was included in the price and since we couldn't eat more, we were immediately offered that we could just take the dessert home. Great food, service and atmosphere. 10 🌟 from here 😁

22/02/2025: 10/10 experience! Super nice girls behind the counter. The cakes and bread tasted fantastic, and the prices were worth it... actually had to go back and bring more home when I drove from Hobro. Willing to drive from Randers to Hobro just for the delicious baked goods another time🙌🙌

11/02/2025: Det Lune(ste) Brød in Denmark is found in Hobro. Undoubtedly Denmark's best bakery. They have a huge range of everything from always fresh and tasty bread, pizzas and sausage horns and the finest cakes. The bread is crispy and tastes crunchy and delicious. The selection of cakes and the taste of them is so the angels sing. The rum balls get the most beautiful number 12. And that is without exaggeration. On top of that, you can even buy a freshly made mug of latte or coffee to take home. Det Lune Brød's service is fantastic, they always have a smile on their face and time for a little chat if you're up for it. Last but certainly not least - The prices are affordable, even if you, like me, have a low income. Try, for example, their 4-piece luxury cake selection for NOK 65. I promise you won't regret it. MUMS I'm just saying.

14/01/2025: I stayed here for work for 2.5 weeks. The bedrooms are a good size, a nice Danish breakfast with homemade rolls every morning. But Simone, the Hostess, Was fantastic and could not do more for you. She really helped make my stay there great. Thank you Simone.

22/03/2025: I am well versed in good chocolate😉 However, I have never tasted such good and well-made chocolate as the one from Chkoladekurven. It beats EVERYTHING 😍

08/12/2024: Stopped here today for Frokost. Very nice atmosphere reminiscent of shipping in earlier times. There were ready-made smörrebröd with crab poached egg, roast beef and more, as well as delicious brown bread, two kinds of sild, smoked salmon with pumpkin, a kind of salmon tartare with crabs, potato salad, as well as various dips and butter. There was also parnietes fish fillet, duck, roast beef and roast wild boar, with red cabbage, kale, roasted potatoes, broccoli and a damn delicious brown sauce with a touch of Christmas English was spoken We were very happy with everything

27/01/2025: We regularly come to Scandic Aalborg East, as we have family nearby. We generally like Scandic hotels and Aalborg East is no exception.

18/01/2025: Nice hotel, good service and nice rooms. The dinner in the restaurant is really good and tasty. The breakfast buffet has a large selection with everything you need.
