01/11/2025: Incredibly nice surroundings. Fantastically delicious pasta dish with chicken and mushrooms with homemade bread. Large portions. Highly recommended. We will definitely come again, even though we come from far north.

17/12/2025: Was surprised that there was such a beautiful house in the forest. A beautiful exhibition, which was set up so that some artists were mixed according to a selection so that the paintings could complement each other. Good distance between the individual artists' works so that they were presented in beautiful daylight, through the many windows. A lovely area, with a cafeteria where you could experience both art and nature. A beautiful place, with access for the disabled.

27/07/2025: Very rude staff , looks like racism to me . I walked into this restaurant to have some coffee , well never knew they had a private event ; I was pushed out of the hotel like a dog ; and that was very rude . What happens to courtesy or just being human and polite in this day and age !!!. The kind of look I got doesn’t represent the people of Aalborg, that has been very friendly. My first trip this side that ended with disrespect. Sometimes allow humanity if respect is not there.

04/03/2026: In connection with my father's funeral, I had to find a place where we could gather afterwards. The choice fell on the orchid. And it was just what we had hoped for. Lovely lunch table and cake afterwards. The surroundings were cozy and there was plenty of space. It was nice but unpretentious and just as it should be. Sanne was super sweet the whole way through. Not least when we had to move the event at short notice (hours before) due to the snowstorm. Really nice with flexibility and friendliness in such a situation. Can only recommend the orchid.

14/02/2026: Hidden gem of Aalborg’s Sushi Scene!!! We’ve been eating here for a couple of years and have YET to be disappointed. The quality and freshness of ingredients continues to deliver wonderful experience. Apart from that the staff is extremely polite and helpful, especially w.r.t allergens. Today we are thankful to them especially, since they made our Valentines days even more special. Warm recommendation to anyone wanting to eat amazing sushi at reasonable price. Thank you ;)

24/09/2025: For 27 years, we've had the best Romkogler cheese here. Now, in 2025, we have our last chance to buy them. The bakery will be closing in November. In 2026, we'll have to decide what to do next.

01/03/2026: I am only reviewing the restaurant. I have not stayed at the hotel. Clear menu, good prices and generous portions. We ordered two cups of coffee and got a whole pot on the table. The surroundings are cozy, and both the service and the view from the Panorama restaurant are good.

13/09/2025: Fantastic art that I have never seen anything like, and not to that extent. I would like to own some of it. The Mexican food evening was unfortunately unrecognizable and very boring in terms of the food. It was as if the chef had forgotten to shop. What was served was ok. However, the concept manages in a fantastic way to give an enriching evening, as everyone talks to everyone. The place is unique in its own way. They definitely get 5 🌟 Since I was there because of the Mexican food, which did not shine through, I can unfortunately only give 2 🌟
