12/08/2024: Had ordered their 3 course all-evening arrangement. Was moved to the Strandhotellet as there were not enough orders to fill their restaurant at the beaching inn. But a super experience that can be highly recommended

01/10/2024: Cozy hotel, well located in relation to attractions. Welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere and great flexibility was shown! The breakfast was a bit sketchy, but what was there tasted good. Not much storage space in the room, but it was clean and the bed was good. I was surprised that there were candles on the tables. For asthma sufferers and the risk of fire, LED lights are the obvious choice.

18/09/2024: Have been to this restaurant once a year for the last 3 years. And can definitely be recommended. The food is super delicious, and much of the food is made from scratch and homemade. Really cozy restaurant, where the modern meets the Jutland. Nice family friendly and for a cozy evening close to the water in cozy surroundings. The hosts are super good and make sure you are in focus and enjoy the company and don't miss anything

09/10/2024: We are currently on vacation in Denmark and "landed" here on the way back from a walk on the beach. Well, or navigated here 😉. We can only recommend this small, very cozy café. Not only were the owners really nice, friendly and accommodating, you were also always given more coffee, just like that. I have never experienced anything like this in Germany. The food, in this case the house-style burger, was a dream, the beef was a poem and the strawberry milkshake (of which my daughter even took one with her on the go 😀)... simply delicious. We were able to pay by card, so no problem and at the end we had a little conversation with the owner, even in German. So, if your stomach is growling and you're in the area, go to Café Mathilde. 28/10/2024: Good food and really nice with the all you can eat concept via App, but being asked to "leave the restaurant soon" after waiting 20 minutes for the last part of your order which then magically appears in 2 minutes was a strange ending from otherwise nice staff.

24/10/2024: Average resturant with average food. The sushi was not the best on their menu. Their sticks were better. You sit very close together and it is very loud.

22/10/2024: Fantastisk mad i sjovt galleri med vild, moderne kunst! En fryd for øje og gane! At kokken selv serverer og forklarer giver en særlig oplevelse. Vi kommer igen!

01/10/2024: World Class Art and Calories. Vavasgaard is worth the whole trip from Kbh :) All in all, a fantastic TOTAL experience at a very reasonable price.

16/11/2024: Lokationen kan på ingen måde blive bedre. Et lyst og venligt lokale med udsigt fra alle borde. Vi var der dog en novemberdag, hvor det var havets brusen vi kunne høre. Man bliver taget venligt imod og hjulpet på plads på bedste måde. Vi fik den store julemenu med 6 retter, ja med snacks og 2 desserter blev det faktisk til 9 serveringer. Det var velsmagende og delikat - ja, faktisk det hele. Der spares ikke på smørret her. Til snack fik vi en dansk boblevin (Saxtrup) - det var overraskende og godt. Vinkortet er meget stort, og man kan naturligvis få både vin- og saftmenu. Middagen var en udsøgt fornøjelse.

22/10/2024: Den skønneste mad oplevelse du kan få. Vi spiste frokost på restauranten og alt spillede. Der er en afslappet stemning. Personalet, tjenere og kokke er venlige og imødekommende. Maden smagte fantastisk. Og så med den udsigt. Det er en oplevelse for alle sanser. Ja, det er en Michelin Restaurant, men de skilter "bogstavelig talt" ikke med det. Det er ikke derfor du skal spise på Villa Vest. Du skal gøre det, fordi det helt enkelt smager fantastisk. Villa Vest får varmeste anbefalinger.

17/11/2024: Just had two wonderful days here. Chose the place as dogs are more than welcome, even when eating. The outdoor areas were so nice and Rold forest just around the corner. The rooms were nice with a nice big bed for the dog - the bed for the two-legged ones was also perfect. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere very relaxed, which I value very much. Can only recommend Rold gl kro and I will definitely return with my fur baby.

02/11/2024: Had a WONDERFUL night at the inn. Come here because our 4-legged friends are more than welcome. Great reception when we arrived. Got a nice room with everything you need for people and dogs. It was nice and clean everywhere. The dinner at the inn was top notch and so was the breakfast. Super nice and helpful staff who came and asked if you had slept well and just talked a little. The only minus was that it would have been perfect if you could get other coffee than just black coffee. Love a good cafe latte after dinner and for breakfast. Can really recommend this place to everyone both with and without a dog. It's a really nice place. The owner Jørgen is wonderful, helpful and warm-hearted
