26/10/2025: Good food for great price just outside towncenter

07/10/2025: Stayed here with colleagues a couple weeks ago (late September - Weather was phenomenal). Property and rooms were immaculate. Dining menu was top notch with fantastic selections of fare and wine. Staff were friendly, courteous and on point. Location was fantastic for golf (less then a 100 m away to a great links course), beach approximately 700 m, and the dunes less then 10 min by car. Also only a short drive to historic Skagen (worth the trip). As someone who travels extensively I would highly recommend this property - be sure to ask for a tour of the property - if you are a car and motorcycle aficionado you will be very pleasantly surprised.

29/09/2025: We recently booked Hotel Hvide Kilt for a team meeting, and I can say without hesitation that it exceeded my every expectation. Located in a beautifully remote location beside an impressive links golf course, the hotel offered the perfect blend of outdoor activity and natural beauty — ideal for both work and relaxation. The clear weather during our stay made the experience even more special. Just a short 10-minute drive brought us to the west coast of the peninsula, was perfect for taking a break. The landscape is unique, unlike anywhere else I have been. A particularly memorable aspect was seeing the historic German WWII bunkers along the shore. Saturday evening was truly the highlight. We gathered in the hotel’s restaurant for a team dinner and were treated to an exceptional three-course meal, with amazing flavors and a nice selection of wines. The quality and creativity impressed the whole team - even the foody on the team. Afterward, I stepped outside for some are and was stunned by the visibility of the night sky. With no city lights to interfere, the stars felt closer than ever. Hotel Hvide Kilt offers both comfort and opportunieis for fun in equal measure. For a group or just exploring Denmark's natural and historical beauty, this place is highly recommended.

01/08/2025: Bestilte en bøfsandwich, den bøf der var i, var desværre under alt kritik hård og sej, forventer en rigtig saftig bøf til den pris. Personalet var søde og venlige, så nænnede ikke at skælde ud.

18/07/2025: Fik en tunmousse sandwich med rejer, det er over alt forventning. Der er god service, og personalet er meget professionelle i deres omgangstone, de giver et godt førstehåndsindtryk.

13/09/2025: Fantastic art that I have never seen anything like, and not to that extent. I would like to own some of it. The Mexican food evening was unfortunately unrecognizable and very boring in terms of the food. It was as if the chef had forgotten to shop. What was served was ok. However, the concept manages in a fantastic way to give an enriching evening, as everyone talks to everyone. The place is unique in its own way. They definitely get 5 🌟 Since I was there because of the Mexican food, which did not shine through, I can unfortunately only give 2 🌟

08/10/2025: Unfortunately, a really disappointing experience. We arrived late at night and were looking forward to a good night's sleep. We had been assigned a room at Admiralgården, with a toilet/bathroom in the hallway. We wake up at night to the sound of water dripping somewhere. We get up and find a trash can, which we put under it. A little later we wake up again. Now it's dripping in several places and during the night/morning even more places. We can't sleep, as several of the places it's dripping from hit our bed. When it's 7am and the reception opens, we point out that there's water damage and that we haven't slept, and can't sleep in the uninhabitable room. We are told that a room will be available during the morning (?!), so we have to stay in the room. When we point out that we find it unreasonable to have to pay for the night, we are told that we have been upgraded to the next night (which doesn't help anything), and they offer to pay for museum tickets. When I point this out, they take 15% of the price. Which basically means that they think we actually have to pay for an uninhabitable room. I think this is such disorderly behavior.

18/09/2025: Super delicious food. A bit like in Matador, missing Aunt Møghe. The rustle of history creeps in on you. Lovely restaurant.

31/08/2025: We bought chicken kebab meny. 109dkr, with big frieser and can offer soda. Friendly service. Also have sushi, we didnt try it.

08/11/2025: It's been 30 years since I was last there. Of course, small changes, but just as cozy as I remember.

12/11/2025: Really delicious place with super fast and perfect service. The food (steak bearnaise/ gorgonzola) was cooked to perfection and the waiting time was absolutely minimal! I also got a glass of (the house) red wine, which definitely lived up to expectations, both taste and quantity 👌😊

31/10/2025: Have always been super happy to come to Visa, good food, fast service and nice staff. Tonight was unfortunately, good food, the world's slowest service, a struggle to squeeze all the guests in, guests who were forgotten and staff who had to correct other people's mistakes and carelessness. We ordered a table at 6 pm, it was 5:50 pm, we were shown to a table, but we didn't order food until 6:20 pm because a group of 8 came, about 15 minutes after us, who got all the attention. We think we were in good time in terms of getting to AKKC for an event, but we barely made it there. At 6:50 pm we had to go down and say that either the food should come now, or we had to leave to keep our appointment 🙃 Here the waiters were probably almost surprised that we were actually sitting and waiting for food 🤦🏻‍♂️ A truly disappointing experience..
