18/11/2024: Very long wait time and the food is not that good at all

27/08/2025: Ordered a large order of fish & chips. Got 2 small pieces of fish that were raw. Got another order, but this time with regular overcooked fish fillets (nothing to do with fish & chips) The steak burger was also overcooked.

25/08/2025: The food tasted okay, but in our case, the service was unfortunately disastrous. We had explicitly pointed out that due to an intolerance, the pulled pork burger could not contain eggs. The waiter assured us repeatedly that this would not be a problem. Nevertheless, we were served a burger with mayonnaise and other egg ingredients. For guests with allergies or intolerances, this is simply unacceptable. More attention must be paid urgently.

17/08/2025: Nice relaxed atmosphere. Food OK without surprising. The portions are a bit small. Staff with a bit too little energy for the guests. On the other hand, vegetarian and gluten-free food is offered.

16/08/2025: Lovely hotel, clean and tidy, good breakfast, a little noisy in the room, but that's the case in many places, in old hotels.

19/05/2025: Large room with a large, comfortable bed. Beautiful, large pool. Absolutely quiet, window open, not a sound. Second door in the room eliminates hallway noise. Very good breakfast.

19/08/2025: Great indoor playground, nice and friendly staff, good prices, and the food was also very good and fresh. The kids had a great time; the kids were very well looked after. Remember to use your parking disc and register at the entrance. Otherwise, it'll be expensive. 😉

31/08/2025: Yesterday my husband and I visited this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The service was poor – we did not feel welcome at all. The waiter knocked over my small handbag that was hanging on the back of the chair twice, and both times she failed to apologise, even though she clearly turned around and saw the situation. We were also not asked if the food was tasty or if we were missing anything, even though we left quite a bit of food on our plates. Unfortunately the food was also disappointing – especially the clam sauce, which was a complete disaster. It is very sad that such a special day for us ended this way.

20/07/2025: Very cosy and welcoming, friendly for children and their parents 😅 We had a very pleasant experience on a Sunday morning. It’s also a relatively short detour from E45 which is a plus when you’re on your way to ferry at Hirtshals but need a quick stop for coffe or meal 👍

17/08/2024: The chicken thigh and aioli were the best thing on the menu. Unfortunately, the remaining pieces of chicken were dry and the fries had no salt at all. Unfortunately for us it was not worth the money. However, the host was friendly and polite.

11/08/2025: Nice place where we regularly order Pho. The food is different from what you can usually order around. It tastes really good, is a good place to try something new. The staff can tell you a lot about their food, and has a lot of knowledge. The restaurant itself could be more cozy, the building looks a little worn and the toilets were not in the best condition. But other than that, it is definitely a recommendation, where you get a good food experience.

11/08/2025: Two sandwiches with salad, cheese, and a sausage that even our dog wouldn't eat -> an unfair €11. The price would have been okay if the quality had been decent.

04/06/2025: I was going to celebrate my 30th birthday and was looking forward to an Italian buffet from Martin Kok. Unfortunately, I am left with a very sad experience. I had ordered for 50 people for delivery with the expectation that we would eat around 3 pm I had not received any confirmation, so I asked a few days before if they could confirm the number and time. Here they first confirm, but then change my delivery time to 12.30 with the beginning “it doesn’t fit well”. Here I would have liked that I didn’t have to contact them myself to find out, but peace be with it. When we are going to eat later, we are not far into the appetizers before it turns out that they have given us the wrong appetizer. They have given us a seafood salad from the Southern European buffet. In addition, 19 out of 49 end up not being allowed to taste the second appetizer, because there was not enough when it was their turn at the buffet. Of those who had received, 14 were children and the rest had limited themselves to 1 slice of carpaccio, as they considered that the quantity would not be enough - it was not. However, for the main course there was plenty of meat, which they should be commended for, but the accompanying chive pesto was not even half of what was given. We received 1 very small bowl for all those people. I contact them afterwards to give some feedback, praising the good things, but of course expressing my ambition for the mistakes. I am completely outraged by the treatment I received afterwards. The owner refuses to apologize or acknowledge the mistakes. First I am told that I have received a starter with a salad of shrimp, serrano and pesto (the one that belonged to my buffet) and even after I send him pictures of the seafood salad I received instead, I receive no apology (I had leftovers from that very starter, picture added here). When I write the part about the chive pesto, I just keep thinking that it can't be right, there wasn't enough for 50 and just ignore the fact that I was the one in the wrong here too (I'm attaching the bowl here). In relation to the carpaccio, the blame is also just thrown back at me with the accusation that the others must have taken too much (we all know that if it's 19 people who don't have enough, then there's something wrong with the quantity). For me, it's incomprehensible that you don't just apologize for the mistakes instead of indicating that the customer is lying... I won't order from there again and neither will the guests.

19/08/2025: Super friendly service, beautiful location, delicious food, freshly prepared. Good location. Very reasonable prices. The conversation with the owner was very pleasant. Definitely worth a visit. Keep it up, you're great.

17/09/2025: Gets 2 stars for on-time delivery. Ordered shooting stars for takeaway for 180kr. You can understand the name “the little mermaid” with how wet that portion was. Thin dressing, wet shrimp, wet vegetables. You would think everything came from a can/bucket and the fish batter was completely soft. There was water in the container from the food and the bread was also soaked
