03/09/2025: If you enjoy sitting by the harbor and appreciate authentic Danish fish dishes, this is the place for you. Self-service (very efficiently organized), very friendly staff with excellent English skills. The price-performance ratio is decent by Danish standards: 400 kroner for two people.

02/09/2025: It was OK, but nothing more. We've had better fish restaurants in Denmark. I can't say whether the restaurants next door would have been any better.

23/05/2026: I am only giving this place one stars because of the guy who served us the first bottle of wine, he did a good job. After that I am sad to say it was extremely arrogant. Waited a long time for ordering the second bottle and when approaching the bar to order I was told to sit down and wait…. I repeated that I just wanted a specific bottle and was then in a very firm tone told to sit and wait my turn. I have never experienced such a rude service. We of course left.

03/08/2026: Very disappointing experience. The coffee was extremely poor, especially considering the very high prices. We ordered three coffees and had to wait more than 30 minutes, even though the café wasn’t busy at all. The quality was far below expectations, and the service was unnecessarily slow. Definitely not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

11/06/2026: We had a buffet there for our wedding on 6/6-26. It was really good, and all the guests were happy. And there were plenty of food, so the guests were well-fed.

28/07/2026: We visited Café Inside again, and honestly, I don't understand the bad reviews. Anyone who enters this café will find a clear and concise menu. You can order hot and cold drinks, and the food selection consists mainly of grilled and fried dishes. Over the years that we've occasionally visited Klitmøller, Café Inside has undergone a lot of changes. It's been redesigned several times. The food tastes really good, and the burgers are fantastic. We also enjoy treating ourselves to ice cream here, and it's delicious. The ambiance of Café Inside fits perfectly with the surfer spot "Cold Hawaii." The view of the North Sea is truly beautiful. When I read the questions that arise, for example, regarding gluten intolerance (one of the reviews here), I wonder how uninformed someone can be about their own intolerance, especially concerning food preparation in a café like Inside. Another reviewer complains about the café's decor. Complaining about surf-themed decorations in Cold Hawaii, surrounded by surfers? You're a real hero. Then there's another woman who has nothing good to say about the café. If you visit her profile, you'll see a Google-restricted profile, which has received some negative and inexplicable reviews. She should really get a job; her reviews are far from up to par. And to some of the seniors who apparently can't write reviews but still have something to complain about: please consider communicating with the site administrators in a more respectful manner. Respectful communication looks very different.

10/06/2026: We ordered a steak sandwich in the Jutland style and garlic bread. Fantastic food and we ate too much 🤣 food coma as we call it. Thank you for the good service 🙏🤩

24/07/2026: No seating options outside, extremely crowded as there was a sporting event across the street

06/07/2026: Opening time is not accurate, on the door it’s open from 08:00-01 Monday and we were waiting outside until 0840 and they did not open the door until 08:40 and just drove other places. Waited outside for 40 mints . 06/07/2026 .

09/07/2026: I'm not a big fish eater and they didn't have the 2 things I wanted from the menu I ordered fish fillets which were OK The food took a while, but the staff was very nice and let us borrow a private room as they unfortunately don't have a changing room

08/06/2026: Cozy and well located place. Interesting food arrangement, I think it was a bit expensive for the quality of the food, but the location must be taken into account.

21/07/2026: It's a nice Burger concept they've got, at least their Double Hereford Bearnaise. The price compared to what you get is more than acceptable if you're a member. Especially when their competitors are the dog-eat-dog McD and Burger King.

19/07/2026: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ Unfortunately not the best experience at Sunset. I visited the restaurant on a normal weekday evening, where there were only a few customers, so it didn't seem busy. Still, I was handed a hamburger, even though I had ordered a cheeseburger. I also noticed that an employee cut a steak smaller on the same cutting board that a tomato had just been cut on. It didn't give the most professional impression. Unfortunately, the milkshake was also pretty indifferent, and the general service seemed disinterested. All in all, a disappointing experience that didn't live up to the standard I usually associate with Sunset.
