04/05/2026: Really brown pub, good if you're going on a pub crawl or pub golf, otherwise I would never stop by.

07/06/2026: At first I got rice that was crunchy, dry and chewy, as if it had been sitting out all day. I called the store and was told I could come and exchange my food. When I go to exchange the food and get a new bucket in my hand, I can feel it is very light. I open it and notice that there is only rice in it. In the first bucket I got, the rice and sauce were mixed together, so of course I expected a whole new portion (I had eaten one mouthful). But no, the young clerks tell me that they can only give me the rice, because that was the only thing that was wrong with it. I argue that I don't want to pick the chewy, dry rice out of the sauce, but the clerks don't understand. Since I'm still not satisfied, one of the girls says that she has to call her boss. She does so, and after a while she comes back and tells me that I will get a new portion. It used to be so delicious, but if this is the standard now, I won't be back! Butternut Chicken is usually made with Squash, but they were replaced with carrots. The sauce had a strange synthetic aftertaste and the new rice - yes, was dry. It didn't taste bad, but it was FAR from the past. Oh, and too bad for Aars and Kylling & Co.

29/12/2025: Dry rolls, really tacky product. The breakfast pastries are without soul or love, just squeaky sweet

19/11/2025: Pastry shop with a baker and indoor serving. Good bread, good cakes and a nice atmosphere.

20/03/2026: Ordered 9 grilled chickens with poms. Chickens were very dark and very dry, so not worth the money

23/10/2025: Located in the middle of Hjørring. Walking distance to restaurants, discos and attractions (museum and such). Nice staff! Breakfast was simple with bread, freshly baked rolls and cold cuts! Various drinks. Decent rooms with WiFi and TV. Decent bathroom. Quiet and peaceful place!

09/10/2025: A clean hotel in the centre of Hjörring.

14/04/2026: A really good big cup of coffee in quiet surroundings. A place that will definitely be visited again

04/05/2026: Poor menu design on the website (which is apparently even wrong) does not allow you to understand that some parts of the menu are apparently for "take away" only. Me and my boyfriend just spent there quite a while waiting for a menu just to get "oh we only have a buffet now" 😄 So we just paid for the coke we ordered before menu and left. Nowhere on the website or menu it says anything about food for "take away" only. Extremely strange and unprofessional.

18/04/2026: Food is average - have had better Chinese food elsewhere. You get what you pay for.

14/04/2026: On my second order the sushi rolls were quite big and with lots of rice.

28/02/2026: We have been here quite a few times and we are so happy to come here 🤩 Fantastic sushi, etc. served by the sweetest staff and in a really nice restaurant 🤩 We would really like to come here again 🍤🍣🥠🍻🤩

25/04/2026: Ordered food at 20:50, expected arrival at 21:35. Arrived at 21:30 warm, the delivery man had a smile on and was welcoming. Ordered a no.50 and no.54 it smelled throughout the apartment, tasted amazing, well packaged. 10/10 will order again🍾🍾

23/11/2025: Ordered a Hadsund Special Deep Pan pizza - it had WAY too much topping. You'll have to look a long time for something like dry and burnt pizza.

25/07/2025: Unfortunately, I have experienced the worst service ever, and it is not just a one-off incident – it is repeated every time I visit the place. Based on this, I will no longer prefer this place as my limit for acceptable treatment has been exceeded.

28/04/2025: A very dead place, staff who were not service-minded. Had no overview of orders in general. We waited for the food for 35 minutes, a sandwich that did not meet expectations, flat and bland and missing ingredients according to what was supposed to be in it from the menu.

05/06/2026: Good fries, but unfortunately, there was no meat in the burgers.

28/05/2026: A burger that looked better than it tasted. The taste is average, but tastes - like many other burgers in this category - primarily of salt and fat. It was a bit sticky and greasy, as the top bun was covered in some kind of sauce. That didn't do it any good. There are only a few seats here

09/05/2026: Ghost stay A completely terrible experience that we ended after 3 hours. As soon as we arrived at the place, we were suspicious because there were no cars in the parking lot. It turned out that we were the only guests there. The staff was both receptionist, chef and waiter. He could not tell us anything about the place when we asked. We were accommodated in a room that was both dirty and in need of renovation. When we walked around the castle, there was dust and dead flies on the window sills. The pool, which was one of the reasons we chose the stay, was not open. Likewise, the wine cellar was not as pictured. The castle smelled like it was not ready to receive guests. When we were supposed to have a gastronomic dinner, as promised, we were very disappointed. There were seats for up to 12 people, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. When we asked the staff, they said that 4 more people were supposed to come, but they hadn't shown up. The food was below par, and when we confronted the staff, they apologized. We weren't offered anything else. We didn't feel safe at the place, and chose to cancel our stay. We subsequently contacted the management with a complaint about the stay. They came back with the news that the staff had a different variation of the stay, but wanted to offer us a new stay! We declined this, as we don't want to spend any more days off on this. However, if they had simply cancelled our stay due to a lack of guests, we would have found something else instead. But when I spoke to someone from Danish Castle Hotels, I was told that the castle is open all year round, and being alone in a castle was something she had experienced herself! So they are obviously open no matter what!

06/05/2026: Fantastic experience from start to finish. Beautiful surroundings, high service and a very special tranquility about the place. The restaurant provided food at a very high level with good ingredients and beautiful presentation. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. A perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing stay. We will definitely be back.
