23/08/2025: I cannot recommend this place to anyone with my good will. The food was frozen food. You couldn't complain about the service. There was no one. We had to get our own menu card. The dessert never came. What a shame when it's such an old cozy inn.

18/08/2025: Tonight we went here for a second time without a reservation because we enjoyed it so much yesterday. The steak with delicious potatoes, burger, fish and chips, and especially the plaice were delicious! Simple food as it should be—superb! The staff is very friendly, and the terrace with a sea view is well-organized and cheerfully decorated. It's sunny, but it looks very cozy inside for colder days. Definitely recommended! If we weren't going home tomorrow, we would have come back a third time.

15/10/2025: The waffle wasn't homemade, just warmed up. There were large lumps of sugar in the waffle itself. Overall, it wasn't tasty and too expensive.

15/10/2025: So if you want to be served a careless and completely inedible waffle, this is the place to go. Unfortunately, it left a hole not only in my wallet but also in my stomach. Even homemade ice cream cones were no help. You should know

29/09/2025: If you want a real grill burger, then Kebab House is definitely the place to go! The best chicken burger I've ever tasted!✨

13/07/2025: I've been buying their shawarma since 1988 when I moved to Aalborg and it is by far the best ❤️ Now moving away from Aalborg, and I'm going to miss them as the only place that can make a proper shawarma.

11/09/2025: The lemon cake for 39kr was very dry and tasteless.

25/08/2025: Wanted to buy cake take out at 17:08 and got rejected) even there were a lot of things to buy (not like they were empty). And even on door it says opened til 18:00. Hmm..

06/09/2025: We had a Margherita pizza, chicken rolls, and half a chicken. The chicken was good, but the chicken rolls could have used a bit more dressing and seasoning, and the salad was also good without any of it. Perhaps not quite what German tourists are used to. The pizza was really not good; the base, while thin, felt like cardboard, and the cheese seemed to be a cheap imitation cheese. It was absolutely useless, unfortunately. The staff was very friendly, though, and the wait time was acceptable given the busy times.

17/10/2025: We got our food very quickly, but it was missing a pancake and even the pancake dish was NOT as described AT ALL. There were 2 tiny vanilla lumps with a splash of syrup on the plate. On the other hand, their sandwiches were super good.

04/10/2025: Add for an experience 🤮🤢 We read that it was fresh ingredients, but their Fish’n Chips were anything but fresh. The “fish” were partially frozen and their fries tasted like rancid fries. The poor waiter apologized and offered another round. My wife refused and I really should have too, because I had to give up eating it after a few mouthfuls and left the place with a sickening taste of fries in my mouth. We will never return so we were offered a free meal, ugh 😠

22/11/2025: The food was good and the service was nice. There were no diners, so we had to create the atmosphere ourselves, we will definitely eat there again.

16/10/2025: A very tame experience. The food was also late and cold.

14/10/2025: We were 7 people and had a really nice evening at Ji Sushi, great food, great service and fast delivery of what we ordered. Thank you for a great evening - we will definitely be back.

28/08/2025: The food is very good. The staff is very friendly. Ordering via a tablet takes a bit of getting used to, but it works perfectly.

31/10/2025: Ordered a Steak Sandwich to eat on the spot, but when I finally got it it turned out that it was supposed to be a steak, which it has never seen the shadow of, it was cold and tasteless!? The bun was equally boring and cold!? The lone ⭐️ star is given for the sauce which was only okay, it also lacked the taste of beef!? So all in all the worst Steak Sandwich I have ever tasted….! I only ate it because I was super hungry, as I hadn't had anything to eat since 07:30 this morning….

05/10/2025: It once had the best steak sandwich, today it's a reheated steak that wasn't hot at all and a sauce with too much color in it.

06/09/2025: We were greeted by smiling and friendly staff, and the service was quick. Unfortunately the food was not very good, my husband got chicken salad, a very small portion, and there was more salad than chicken!!! My fish fillet was fried in rancid oil! So we were not as satisfied as the last time we were here.

30/08/2025: The atmosphere was nice and cosy until a pungent odour of drain suddenly hit us! We sat just opposite of the kitchen door and next to the toilets. It was awful but luckily we were done eating. The fish was too salty, unfortunately. Main meal very small with a little piece of cod and 3 tortellinis. Dessert was a chocolate mousse, quite nice but topped with a tasteless and chewy merengue. Unnecessary! More chocolate mousse and less trying to be chichi. Most surprising part of the dinner: the bill If you choose entry of the day, main of the day and dessert of the day you pay less then for the 3-course menu consisting of the exact same 3 dishes. The waitress argued that if’s the chef who sets the prices and this is how it’s done in Denmark. Well, so be it, but we won’t return in this case and felt a bit fooled. However, lovely Pinot Noir!

23/12/2025: The environment inside the restaurant is pretty cozy. But unfortunately, the food is not. We ordered one Istanbul pizza and one Cheese burger. 1 small Gazoz, 1 small Faxi kondi. The Pizza was decent. Tasted ok. Not anything very fantastic but eatable. But the burger was worst. Who knows what sauce put inside the burger. It was so salty that it was hard to eat. Couldn’t taste anything without salt. We went at 13, so in the Frokost tilbul period. The price was 75 for Pizza and 65 for burger. So 140 for food. we didn’t see the price for drinks. When we went for pay. We paid 204 kr. So 64 kr for two drinks. Seriously!!! Never going there for sure.

03/01/2026: There's no staff on hand; everything has to be done via codes, and if that doesn't work, by phone in broken English. There's a lot of noise from outside and from other guests until 6:00 a.m., climbing stairs and babbling and shouting through the hallways. At 7:00 a.m., the staff starts making noise as well, so you can't sleep here. Coffee in the room is fine, but the old pods from previous guests are still in the machine, so cleaning also leaves a lot to be desired. I'll never go back to this hotel.
