Pennas Restaurant
Frederikshavn
20/07/2026: A very cozy restaurant with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The food was very nicely and deliciously prepared...
17/07/2026: We went to this restaurant on a Thursday because it was close to the campsite where we were staying.
We were disappointed to find it closed, even though we arrived before closing time. The following Friday, we arrived two hours before closing time, and the kitchen was closed again. Not recommended for dinner.

Sason Restaurant
Hjørring
16/09/2026: We were a group of four, and everyone enjoyed it. We ordered pizza, which I don't think was on the menu, but despite the language barrier, we got it anyway. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger had fresh, not limp vegetables, great crispy fries, and onion rings as a nice addition. The restaurant was empty, but overall pleasant.
02/05/2026: Very cozy pizzeria and good food for a cozy time.

Zana Pizza & Grill
Thisted
11/08/2026: Delicious selection of pizza and grill. fast service and very friendly staff
18/07/2026: The bottom is burnt, too much tomato sauce, almost no meat, smoking/steaming in the restaurant. No service, won't come here again. Not recommended.

Cafe Lido
Jammerbugt
24/08/2026: The food here is good, but they only have a Danish menu. Service is a bit chaotic.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, modern yet atmospheric.
20/08/2026: Great little restaurant with superb food. Our group of eight ate a variety of dishes and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend the steak. I've rarely had such good meat on vacation. Reservations are recommended!

21/08/2026: Classic ice cream parlor.
Lots of people and ice cream just as it should be.
The price is a bit on the high end.
The staff was smiling and the service was good.

Helnan Phønix Hotel
Aalborg
03/05/2026: Good and cheap hotel, good service, everything for breakfast
02/05/2026: I'm a guest here, and I booked a room. Today I bought some food outside and wanted them to heat it up for me, but they refused, which made me very upset.

Pakhuset
Vesthimmerlands
09/07/2026: I'm not a big fish eater and they didn't have the 2 things I wanted from the menu
I ordered fish fillets which were OK
The food took a while, but the staff was very nice and let us borrow a private room as they unfortunately don't have a changing room
08/06/2026: Cozy and well located place.
Interesting food arrangement,
I think it was a bit expensive for the quality of the food, but the location must be taken into account.

Gaja Sushi
Hjørring
04/06/2026: Always good and delicious sushi, however the premises are very unattractive and the serving staff are 16 year old girls with no experience.
Really good place for take away

Lagkagehuset
Aalborg
14/09/2026: The staff in the afternoon are more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. The cake was thrown on the counter, no eye contact, totally indifferent and wouldn't help with the app after I spent time being confused about whether it had scanned correctly. Made eye contact with another customer and we both looked at each other - both a bit shocked by the service. It was NOT busy. Only with the internal gossip.
06/09/2026: Haven't tasted their layer cakes, but the coffee and BMO are good
