24/09/2025: The kitchen doesn't know what is vegan, even though they have two pizzas that are labeled as vegan... Not just a one-time mistake. On top of that, it's overpriced, considering it's more like a tortilla pancake with a little filling. I'll be buying my food from outside in the future.

30/08/2025: It was a wonderful evening with great food and service. You wouldn't have expected it from the outside, but it was a surprise.

02/10/2025: I have never experienced a more rude service. We are greeted by a younger girl standing out back and shouting what we want. To this I answer once French fries. She asks if it should be a small or a large. I ask how big the difference is between the two sizes, hoping that she would show me the tubs or something. Instead she laughs provocatively and replies that one is large and the other is small. Leaves the store. I definitely intend to share my experience with my network.

07/03/2026: I would advise people not to use this place. They charge way too much, and when I confronted him about overcharging me by 250 kroner for my food, and explained that I felt cheated, he started yelling and cursing at me – even while there were other customers in the place. This is a very unprofessional way to treat your customers.

25/07/2025: Unfortunately, I have experienced the worst service ever, and it is not just a one-off incident – it is repeated every time I visit the place. Based on this, I will no longer prefer this place as my limit for acceptable treatment has been exceeded.

28/04/2025: A very dead place, staff who were not service-minded. Had no overview of orders in general. We waited for the food for 35 minutes, a sandwich that did not meet expectations, flat and bland and missing ingredients according to what was supposed to be in it from the menu.

24/10/2025: We had two pizzas. The Hawaiian pizza was a disaster. The ham tasted sour, weird, and bad. The pizza salami wasn't cooked properly. Instead, I got one with air-dried ham. It was good, though. Unfortunately, we didn't see the waiter again and quickly left the snack bar.

07/10/2025: Got the most disgusting mussels yesterday They weren't fresh and I don't know what they were steamed in, they weren't eaten

26/08/2025: Delicious food. Rødspaette fillet with rugbrød (backbread) and scampi fritti. Several picnic benches and tables. Heaters and blankets for when it's chilly.

22/03/2026: It was a shame that all the flavor was drowned in fat, because I'm sure their Beer BBQ would have tasted amazing if we could have tasted it. Their Bies Dip was super delicious, and their Beer, Rhubarb Soda was also really delicious. But it only gets 1 star for the food, as it unfortunately wasn't a pleasant experience, due to all the fried fat in the burger.

14/11/2025: This historic hotel is really nice. It has parking in the city center and a very cute room. It's very well located in the heart of Mariager. The restaurant is great; you can order several dishes, all at the same price, which allows you to try a variety of things. It's noisy with cars driving over the cobblestones, but that has its charm, and they even provide earplugs.

12/11/2025: I had a very bad experience at this place, if you can call it a "restaurant". This applies to the food, the service, the staff and the place in general. In the summer it's like an oven, you can die from the heat, and in the winter it's like a refrigerator. There are a few places to sit, but it's impossible to sit quietly and relax because the place is so small that everyone who passes by bumps into you. I ordered a burger and fries... The fries were overcooked and tasteless, and the burger tasted, without exaggeration, as if it was made of cigarettes. Tobacco cigarettes. Have you ever eaten a burger made of cigarettes? I recommend visiting Salat og Burger to try it. I noticed how they prepare the food - they don't use gloves at all. That is, you first pay for the food and then eat other people's sweat and dirt left on the food. The staff... That's a completely different topic. Salat og Burger is a place where you can be humiliated and ignored if you don't speak Danish. In other words, they don't welcome tourists. If you ask: "Do you speak English?", they will answer: "You are in Denmark! No! We only speak Danish." And they will say this to you in a rude, humiliating way. Generally, the owner or an employee, a man with glasses, can send you away, shout at you and ruin your mood for no reason. Waste of money and time, questionable hygiene, lack of comfort, humiliation, shouting and bad mood are guaranteed.
