06/09/2026: Terrible place I had been sitting inside McDonalds for 5 minutes, with my friends, and was about to order. Then an employee comes over to me and tells me that because I haven't ordered anything in those 5 minutes, I have to leave the "restaurant" if you can even call it that. So when I tell him that I'm going to order, he tells my friends to leave while I order. One of my friends then asks "If you're in a family at McDonalds, and there's someone who hasn't ordered in 5 minutes, can't you be in the restaurant?" He chooses to say "Yes, you can't be in the restaurant if you're not going to order anything, even if you're with your friends, families, etc." I should also say that it wasn't even full, there were more than 50% of all seats available. I would say that it is terrible service, would not come back again, and would prefer Sunset Boulevard, Burger King, etc. in the future.

11/08/2026: Employee has attitude, whispers our number over the rest of the noise in the restaurant, says she's said our number 3 times and rolls her eyes when she delivers our food, you shouldn't work in a place like that. Clearly she's tired of her job.

11/06/2026: I can't say there was bad service because there was no service. We wanted to play mini golf. We walked around the reception for 5 minutes, no one came, we went to the restaurant, no one was there, we rang a bell in the bar, no one came, so we had to go again.

24/05/2026: I don’t recommend this place if you don’t meat but even otherwise. Paid 300kr for side salad as main course.

14/08/2026: Pizza is good, but never thought he combines onion with pineapple. Nah. The area is run down and shabby. Will not come back even if service is good.

09/07/2026: The prices are way too high for the poor food and the poor treatment. I ordered two durums which cost 160 kr. I asked for a bag but didn't get it. I also asked why the price was so high but didn't get any answer. I also asked for napkins but didn't get them either. I often buy durums from many different restaurants and their prices are usually between 50 and 65 kr. – no more than that.

19/08/2026: Unfortunate visit, the kitchen was burnt so no possibility to order food. Not particularly customer friendly service and nothing has been done about the coziness, even though it could be a fantastic place due to the location

01/10/2026: McDonald's delivers. Staff who know the screen better than the food, and the thing you came for is hot, salty, and gone in four minutes flat. In, paid, out, still hungry an hour later. That is why I go back again anyway.

12/08/2026: Super super delicious food, made when you order. So no day old buffet with cold and bland food. Top class sushi, small dishes and everything at a good pace. Great price and friendly staff. Cozy smaller restaurant, but real foreign atmosphere.

06/08/2026: Very strange policy that non-dining guests also have to pay for ad libitum... our friend with a severe fish allergy sat at the table without consuming anything other than a soda but was still charged a sushi ad libitum payment. Strange way to do business...

15/09/2026: The food was really delicious, really cozy and clean place to sit. The only challenge is parking but if you come on foot it is perfect.

05/09/2026: ★★☆☆☆ – From Roskilde's kebab gem to Roskilde's big disappointment This is actually one of the reviews I'm most sorry to write. Roskilde Kebab & Grill Hus has been one of my personal favorites in Roskilde for many years. I've eaten here countless times and have recommended the place to friends and acquaintances from almost every corner of the world. For me, it was one of Roskilde's little kebab and pizza gems. But unfortunately, recent visits have been significantly worse, and today's experience was the last straw. My friend and I came in in a good mood, and I decided to try their barbecue skewers 3 skewers for 150 kr. We ordered, and so far everything was fine. We waited about 30-40 minutes for the food before my friend had to go down and ask about our order. It turned out that we had been forgotten a bit in the rush. Of course, that can happen, and it wasn't really what made the difference for me. When the food finally arrived, the skewers looked quite nice at first glance. But they only came with two small pieces of bread. I thought there must have been a mistake when it said bread was included. So I went down and asked if that was really all the bread that came with it. The answer was yes and the way it was said, where I experienced that people almost laughed at the question, certainly did not make the situation better. I really just thought: duck it - it is what it is. Then I started eating. And this is where things really got problematic. The rice was so overcooked that it was more like boiled porridge than rice. The meat was extremely dry and lacked both juice and flavor. I almost felt like I was exercising my jaw muscles rather than eating dinner. 😂 Both the chicken and the Adana meat were very dry. The chicken was a bit better than the Adana skewer, though. Their tzatziki was okay and was actually almost necessary to even get the meat down. Before we left, I chose to make the staff aware of the experience. Not to create a bad atmosphere, but because I sincerely think it's a shame when a place you've previously been so happy with drops so much in quality. And that's perhaps exactly what disappoints me the most. I've called this place Roskilde's kebab gem and sent people here for many years. But if the quality continues like this, it's hard to defend that recommendation. 2 stars and that's primarily because of the many good experiences I've had here in the past. Because today's experience was simply not good enough. Long wait, forgotten order, very small amounts of bread, overcooked rice and extremely dry and tasteless meat. It's really a shame. I sincerely hope that they find their way back to the quality they once had because I would actually like to be able to recommend the place again.

10/10/2026: I think all the food was cold, really bad service, it took a long time before we could order drinks. It was really noisy and also a bit hot, so I wouldn't go back there again

29/05/2026: All their products look really nice and delicious. I bought a frog snapper, rye bread bun and rum ball.... All three were genderless and boring and the rum ball was tasteless...... But they were very nice

07/08/2026: We ordered the Pita Kebab/Chicken. It was great, really tasty. The pita brød was fresh made. We can truly recommend this restaurant!

29/07/2026: My brother and I stopped by for some Kebab Durum and OMG it was delicious! Not only super flavourful, it was loaded with meat and hands down the best we have found between Copenhagen and Roskilde. Highly recommend!!

02/08/2026: I have never experienced having to pay extra to get some chili or garlic on the pizza. That should be included. And not least, both pizzas were quite dry. The salad pizza was okay since there was a little dressing on it. But the potato pizza was dry as the Sahara desert.. Overall, 1 star from here.

02/06/2026: Have ordered there 3 times, the first time he stood there counting tomatoes and cucumbers and removed one from the food. The second time I ordered fries they didn't have enough. The 3rd time I ordered fish fillet and fries, the fish was dry and the fries hadn't had enough. Then no more shopping
