13/09/2026: Just wanted a cup of coffee on the terrace, but because one of the girls was blocking the cash register with a discussion with a waiter about a party, it took a really long time to get to place an order, which she wouldn't even take when it was our turn (we were first in line after the waiter). The coffee was ok though. 45,-/cup

26/09/2026: I think it's just what a Chinese buffet restaurant should be.. lots of food, noise from people having fun.. nice service.. I was full as a vegetarian but I would have liked them to have labels for their vegetarian dishes and that the allergen list was easier to see and read. Cozy with a chocolate fountain.

24/02/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel, but rather ate in the café. The food was excellent the staff were incredibly friendly. They were so helpful and attentive. They spoke perfect English and helped us to choose some food. There is a lovely area for children in the café too!

11/08/2026: Delicious grilled pork sausage, served as a hot dog. Great atmosphere at the harbor. Very friendly ladies at the grill and fryer. Even the locals come and go here. 😍

05/10/2026: We were surprised by the quality of the *smørrebrød*. It was truly delicious and incredibly flavorful. Having tried so many different *smørrebrød* restaurants over the years, this was a real treat! On top of that, there was good draft beer, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. The place was bustling on an ordinary Friday around 1 p.m. English: we were surprised by the quality of the *smørrebrød. Really delicious and incredibly tasty smørrebrød. We have tried so many different restaurants with smørrebrød that we got one on the spot! Also good draft beer and good service and atmosphere. The place was well-visited on an ordinary Friday at 1 p.m.

04/10/2026: Really good restaurant in Stege. We had a really delicious dinner with delicious snacks, mushroom toast and fish for the main course. Would love to come again.

03/06/2026: We spent one night at Hørby Færgekro in a junior suite with a terrace and sea view. We especially loved the unique location right on the water. The view across the fjord to the town opposite is beautiful, and the gentle sound of the water creates a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The room was generally pleasant, however, the building is quite noisy. We could clearly hear noises from the neighboring rooms, especially in the bathroom. The bed, described as "queen-size," was smaller than we expected, but quite cozy. Breakfast was decent and offered a good selection of cold cuts and other breakfast items. The restaurant also impressed us. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and the quality of the food was good. It's easy to enjoy a meal there in the evening. Overall, Hørby Færgekro is a good choice for a short stay. The fantastic location right on the fjord more than makes up for any shortcomings. Anyone looking for a comfortable hotel with a nice view can stay here without hesitation. However, don't expect luxury.

27/05/2026: We held our confirmation ceremony there. Everything was in order. The food and wines were excellent and the staff had everything under control. We could completely relax and enjoy the party. It was a lovely day.

12/09/2026: Really good food, cozy surroundings and fantastic service – at least until the plates from the main course were cleared from the table. After that we were a bit forgotten, which was a shame, because both dessert and more drinks would have certainly been tempting. We left full – just a little thirstier than necessary, the taxi could have been dispensed with with today's service 😉

13/09/2026: Great little store. I travel around a lot to drink espresso. They nailed it and the crema was nice and smooth. They used freshly roasted beans for it and let me see the bag of their beans they used.
