13/08/2026: Delicious food (the vegan burger was also very good). We were able to sit outside with our dog and were immediately offered water. The food arrived very quickly. The building isn't very appealing from the outside, but the food and service are excellent. Highly recommended.

03/06/2026: We spent one night at Hørby Færgekro in a junior suite with a terrace and sea view. We especially loved the unique location right on the water. The view across the fjord to the town opposite is beautiful, and the gentle sound of the water creates a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The room was generally pleasant, however, the building is quite noisy. We could clearly hear noises from the neighboring rooms, especially in the bathroom. The bed, described as "queen-size," was smaller than we expected, but quite cozy. Breakfast was decent and offered a good selection of cold cuts and other breakfast items. The restaurant also impressed us. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and the quality of the food was good. It's easy to enjoy a meal there in the evening. Overall, Hørby Færgekro is a good choice for a short stay. The fantastic location right on the fjord more than makes up for any shortcomings. Anyone looking for a comfortable hotel with a nice view can stay here without hesitation. However, don't expect luxury.

27/05/2026: We held our confirmation ceremony there. Everything was in order. The food and wines were excellent and the staff had everything under control. We could completely relax and enjoy the party. It was a lovely day.

05/07/2026: If you want to try REAL traditional danish cuisine that's the place. Dishes are simply delicious, fast served and most of all the portions are truly honest so 4 sure you will not get out hungry from there. Dane who showed me the place said that when he's eating down there it feels like to be for a dinner at his grandma's house. In addition restaurant's interior design from an era gives a taste itself.

25/07/2026: The open-faced sandwich dish without fish or shrimp (only boring ham/rolls) was a disappointment... Waiter: We use what we have in the kitchen... But shortly after, the shrimp were suddenly back on another table...

12/07/2026: Super delicious open sandwiches. I really enjoyed it in the shade despite the lovely sun.

03/07/2026: We order fish & chips, fish is ok but it it can be a bit thicker would be great. Salmon sandwich with fires , the sauces is too sweet but good portion. Place is nice but table is too close with each other but staffs are sweet ;)

01/08/2026: If you have celiac disease or gluten intolerance, you can just leave it alone. The waiter said so himself... Everything is cooked on the same plate and on it is Flammens' "beer braise" which of course has gluten. But the food is okay, if you can eat it.
