02/12/2025: Highly recommended. The decor is authentic, and the friendly German-speaking owner is incredibly kind and accommodating. He immediately lightens the mood with lighthearted jokes and anecdotes. They served Stjerneskud smørrebrød, a must-try in Denmark.

10/12/2025: Very cozy place. Great waiters - you felt very welcome. The tartlets were good, but could have used a little seasoning. The ground beef and the side dishes were good, but the meat was just on the dry side. The dessert was fantastic.

09/10/2025: My husband and I were coming back from watching the black sun starlings (which was an amazing experience) and we were cold and hungry. This cozy restaurant exceeded expectations in its welcome and warmth. I have a life threatening allergy due to alpha-gal allergy I developed from a tick bite. Which means I can’t eat any mammal meat or dairy at this time. Our waiter and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate me and created new additions to the fish dish that were delicious. The fresh beets and potatoes were so amazing as well! I highly recommend!

02/12/2025: Amazing atmosphere, fantastic breakfast! I've been there three times already this year. It's so cool to sit there and soak it all in. The Danes really know how to do it.

30/10/2025: A nice restaurant in a slightly quieter location. The men were very friendly and helpful. The pizzas were really delicious. They're baked in a bakery oven. Germans understand salsiccia to mean something different. This was more of a Danish version. It was still good, though. Unfortunately, the menu was only in Danish. But you can figure it out with Google Maps. And this isn't a touristy pizzeria. All in all, worth a visit.

21/12/2025: Great place. The food tasted great. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The decor is cozy, reminiscent of a wooden ship - lots of things to look at.😊 Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

19/12/2025: We went here to get breakfast and had a sandwich. The bread was amazing and it was so fresh and delicious. True Danish quality the service was amazing too. We also bought pastries and other Danish goodies and they’ve were all amazing. And fantastic service as well.

10/10/2025: We went on a seal and oyster safari as a staff trip. We had an absolutely fantastic day filled with wonderful nature experiences. Poul Erik and Anja were sweet and helpful. Poul Erik is a great communicator of interesting information about wildlife and the area and very patient in answering our many questions. Huge recommendation from here.

28/08/2025: We booked a seal tour from Mandö near Mandöpigen. And only realized shortly before departure that the road to Mandö is only passable at low tide. This fact should have been prominently mentioned when booking, not just in the tiny print on the booking confirmation (i.e., after you've already paid). The tour operator showed no willingness to accommodate (e.g., offer a replacement date) and referred to the tiny print on the order confirmation. I don't want to know how many booked trips are canceled in this way, so they can then spontaneously pick up waiting guests and make good money from double-paying for the trip. As I said, I expect such important information in capital letters before I pay. Anything else seems extremely dubious.

04/01/2026: We ended up here by chance. The pizza was fantastic (very thin crust), the service was very friendly, and the location is also appealing. Highly recommended.
