29/07/2026: Perfect spot to experience authentic and extremely well executed danish cuisine

26/07/2026: After frequenting the whole country for a number of years, my search for the PERFECT shooting star has finally concluded. Café Danmarks is not the biggest or most visually spectacular, but it is definitely the best!!! Both fish were prepared so satisfyingly that even the most jaded hellrup types would make the sign of the cross after every bite and send a thank you to the heavens - Because this creation is truly a revelation. PS. My picture does it no justice. Order and thank me later ;-)

17/06/2026: A charming little restaurant with a cozy, old-fashioned living-room atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious and typical of Denmark. Try the Ingeborg Platter No. 1!

08/08/2026: Really cozy little cafe where you can sit out front, inside the store but also out back where it was quiet and nice. The food tasted excellent. Portion size was what I would categorize as normal. Excellent iced coffee.

08/08/2026: Lovely spot in Ribe. The food is good, the atmosphere is like our grandmother's house, and there's a courtyard in the back. Nice.

09/08/2026: Super good pizza. Friendly and fast service. We had a cup of coffee and hot cocoa while we waited.

06/08/2026: A fantastic Italian restaurant with delicious food and a very creative selection of pizzas—you'll find combinations you won't see anywhere else! The service was friendly, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The only small downside is that they only accept Danish bank cards, so be sure to bring cash or check the payment options in advance. Highly recommended!

09/07/2026: We arrived with our bikes 10 min after closing time. The waitress was extremely friendly and regretted that the coffee machine was cleaned and out. She searched for another open Cafe in Ribe, which was very good. She basically saved our lives :-)

25/07/2026: Unfortunately, the ice cream here is the worst I've ever had in Denmark. A real waste of money. We've been going to Denmark for 30 years, but we've never experienced such a disappointment. The cone alone had to be thrown away. The shop was touristy and the staff unfriendly, which matched the quality of the ice cream. I'm only giving it two stars to bypass the filters.

16/06/2026: A small restaurant, once a farmhouse, owned by the owner's grandparents. The menu is also in easy-to-understand English. Delicious sandwiches made with local produce, and an interesting selection of drinks. We spent about 15 euros each.

09/10/2025: My husband and I were coming back from watching the black sun starlings (which was an amazing experience) and we were cold and hungry. This cozy restaurant exceeded expectations in its welcome and warmth. I have a life threatening allergy due to alpha-gal allergy I developed from a tick bite. Which means I can’t eat any mammal meat or dairy at this time. Our waiter and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate me and created new additions to the fish dish that were delicious. The fresh beets and potatoes were so amazing as well! I highly recommend!

29/07/2026: A small pizzeria with very tasty pizzas. The exterior looks a bit rustic at first glance, but don't let that put you off. It's best to get your food to go, as there are only a few seats. Nevertheless, definitely recommended.

We had some special wishes for the party, and they took care of them with commitment and professionalism.
