03/09/2025: A very quaint restaurant with typical Danish cuisine. It's mostly frequented by locals. The owner speaks very good German, though. The food was once again delicious. We'll be back.

03/09/2025: We stopped at "Hos Ingeborg" because we wanted to enjoy a typical Danish meal that wasn't just a burger or a hot dog. The ambiance, which promised good old grandma's cooking, and the service, which repeatedly emphasized that almost all the customers were locals and that the food was homemade, made us hopeful. But what arrived? A burger that tasted like a hot dog and bland fried potatoes. We felt completely ripped off.

18/07/2025: A cozy place, outside there are tables and benches, and inside it is with old tables and chairs, not very formal, but cozy. Super nice service from the smiling girls, good buns and lovely cake, fantastic coffee, and there are many to choose from. The place is always well visited, and many different types come to the place. Can highly recommend the place if you are into coffee and cake or buns, it is delicious.

13/08/2025: I don't know if there's better soft serve ice cream anywhere in Denmark. This one, however, is simply a dream: creamy, creamy, great consistency, and amazing taste. It can't be compared to German soft serve, which can't even come close to this quality. A Danish specialty!

21/08/2025: We stopped by spontaneously in the evening and asked for a reservation later that night. Our waiter Alexander was fantastic – truly top service. The restaurant is cozy and intimate. Restrooms are upstairs, accessible by a staircase. The menu is small, but every dish is carefully chosen and absolutely delicious. We had the beef steak and a local dish with meatloaf, onions, beetroot, egg yolk, and capers – both were outstanding. We didn’t try dessert, but it looked amazing at the table next to us. Small changes to the dishes were no problem at all. Highly recommended!

28/08/2025: Excellent food with a menu that's served at different times of day. We had the beef burger with homemade fries. Large portion and very tasty. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We sat in the back beer garden. It was quiet and shady.

28/08/2025: It was my birthday, and we received this tip from the owners of Stilbjerg Sleep & Hygge Camping. A fantastic terrace with a beautiful atmosphere. What a beautiful building. Delicious cappuccino and pastries. It was a real treat!

17/08/2025: Very delicious ice cream and large scoops. They also offer unusual flavors. The service was very friendly. I'll definitely stop here again on my next vacation to Denmark.

01/09/2025: Delicious food! The service was a bit hit and miss. They were giving us the order from the next table, and when we placed our order, they told us there was no avocado, but then we found it on our plates. We waited a bit long for some sandwiches, about 40 minutes, and there wasn't a big crowd, and they brought us one less plate due to a misunderstanding when ordering. We added our order and had to wait another 40 minutes for the last sandwich... But they were delicious!

29/08/2025: Disregard the corny name, this is actually a fantastic bakery. They have some amazing croissants and baguettes, and also cakes.

28/08/2025: What a lovely bakery with the finest yeast pastries and Danish pastries, as well as delicious sandwiches. The service is very friendly and attentive. The cappuccino is simply delicious. We definitely recommend you 💚

28/08/2025: We booked a seal tour from Mandö near Mandöpigen. And only realized shortly before departure that the road to Mandö is only passable at low tide. This fact should have been prominently mentioned when booking, not just in the tiny print on the booking confirmation (i.e., after you've already paid). The tour operator showed no willingness to accommodate (e.g., offer a replacement date) and referred to the tiny print on the order confirmation. I don't want to know how many booked trips are canceled in this way, so they can then spontaneously pick up waiting guests and make good money from double-paying for the trip. As I said, I expect such important information in capital letters before I pay. Anything else seems extremely dubious.

31/07/2025: Det er simpelthen for dårligt at man ikke kan sidde udenfor i dagstimerne og spise i et område for ikke rygere. Hele torvet og begge terrasser er for rygere. Det er ærgerligt at restauranten ikke tager højde for gæster, der ønsker en røgfri oplevelse- især i en tid, hvor mange steder netop prioriterer sundhed. Så er man nødsaget til at sidde inde” i det mørke”, og blive ignoreret af personalet.

27/07/2025: Muy buena relación calidad-precio. No recomendaría pedir la hamburguesa de queso azul a menos que realmente te guste el queso azul. La tabla de tapas era muy agradable como lo era el vino. El servicio un poco lento a veces, pero sí movimos mesas dentro y estaban ocupados.

16/06/2025: cozy place with a nice outdoor area. The beer selection is very limited, much like most of the city, but if you like regular beer, this is a good place to start and or end your evening.

13/06/2025: Cozy sports bar with a large selection of drinks. Possibility of several types of games, pool, darts, shuffleboard, dice, etc. Several large screens showing sports.

It was well prepared My boyfriend had roast pork with parsley sauce They were good, crispy and tasted good The apple cake is good but the price is a bit on the high side The only downside to their patio is that all the other people are sitting smoking while you eat.

25/07/2025: I'm a tourist in this part of the country and wanted pizza. I was wondering if I should order online or just drive by. I wasn't busy so I just drove by. There were no parking spaces to be found outside... Well, they're busy so they must be popular I thought. Found a space and went in. Was greeted by a lot of hustle and bustle and a queue almost from the moment I walked in. Wow I thought When I was going to order I was told they were busy... Okay, how busy... Up to 30 minutes of waiting. Fair enough I thought. Good food is worth waiting for. It was hot in there and I waited... And waited... Then I got into a conversation with some locals who told me that the green concert had been cancelled due to cloudbursts. People were queuing up for McDonald's etc. and yes now here. There were 18,000 people who had been evacuated so they were looking for food in the area. Ahh that explains the busyness. While I was waiting I was offered a soda, sweetly by the stressed sweating staff. I waited almost 50 minutes for my food, a few small mistakes in the order but all good. The food tasted fine. Understand the stress and the hustle and bustle and felt sorry for the staff. The prices are also quite fair. Such a good experience despite the hustle and bustle.

18/06/2025: I spontaneously ate here with my husband today. The outside says "Gluten-free available," which is perfect for me. Both my husband's pizza and my GF pizza were delicious. I haven't seen such a selection of toppings anywhere else; it's definitely worth a visit.

17/08/2025: Where should I start. Maybe I would have liked the Coffee or the food but I didn't even got that far. We entered the Shop to ask if we can sit outside. Anwer was "If there is a free table". This should have been the first hint. After waiting for over 20 min we asked one of the employees if we could get a menu. Answer: "we don't have a menu you have to come inside" This wouldn't bother me at all, if that is the concept of the store fine for me I can get my coffee at the counter. But in the first place why didn't they tell us when we were inside that we need to order at the counter and second together with us others arrived they got some kind of menu at least to select what they would like to order. Felt like the two girls working there shouldn't work in the service sector and it felt a bit that we got a special treatment as foreigners. Willdefinwtly

10/08/2025: The coffee at this place is very good, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Undoubtedly the best café in Esbjerg. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a significant decline in the quality of service—the staff are rude and unpleasant, and they seem to be at work as if it’s a punishment. This effectively discourages me from visiting again.
