01/10/2025: We were looking for a nice place for a quick lunch and found this quaint, Danish restaurant. At first glance, it looks like a cluttered living room with tables and chairs, but it exudes a wonderful charm. We received a warm welcome and, without being asked, were given a recommendation for the restaurant. The food is based on Danish cuisine, but schnitzel is also available. The picture shows dish 17b. from the menu. We would eat there again.

28/09/2025: Traditional Danish food like grandma used to make it. Quite OK food at a fair price. Small and intimate.

15/09/2025: The waffle is very good, but very sweet. The coffee not so good. Personal are friendly. I am rating it 4 only for the waffle. The people who attends this place is very unpolite and dirty. They entered in the bathroom and let all dirty - peeing everywhere. So, if you want to eat the waffle, take it away and eat outside. (If I would rate the environment it would be 0).

07/10/2025: The coziest cafe in Denmark❤️If I lived in Ribe, I would go there every day and drink a good cup of coffee, try not to eat cake every time, have a chat with the nice staff and enjoy the good atmosphere.

09/10/2025: My husband and I were coming back from watching the black sun starlings (which was an amazing experience) and we were cold and hungry. This cozy restaurant exceeded expectations in its welcome and warmth. I have a life threatening allergy due to alpha-gal allergy I developed from a tick bite. Which means I can’t eat any mammal meat or dairy at this time. Our waiter and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate me and created new additions to the fish dish that were delicious. The fresh beets and potatoes were so amazing as well! I highly recommend!

21/09/2025: Have had breakfast there 3 times now... That in itself says more than 5 ☆ Good food with good taste Sweet service Reasonable prices Large portions so you'll be full. And hot coffee. If I have to eat in Ribe, I eat here.

28/08/2025: We booked a seal tour from Mandö near Mandöpigen. And only realized shortly before departure that the road to Mandö is only passable at low tide. This fact should have been prominently mentioned when booking, not just in the tiny print on the booking confirmation (i.e., after you've already paid). The tour operator showed no willingness to accommodate (e.g., offer a replacement date) and referred to the tiny print on the order confirmation. I don't want to know how many booked trips are canceled in this way, so they can then spontaneously pick up waiting guests and make good money from double-paying for the trip. As I said, I expect such important information in capital letters before I pay. Anything else seems extremely dubious.

26/10/2025: Ok place if you are into sports and pool, beer selection is unfortunately somewhat lacking but that is a general growing problem in Esbjerg, food I haven't tried

12/09/2025: The buffet is perfect, featuring a wide variety of ingredients, some of which are freshly prepared by the chef. Everything is delicious.

12/09/2025: Great restaurant, the food is good, especially the barbecue where you choose your food which the chef then grills. The atmosphere is quite noisy (the Danes like to talk loudly apparently)

06/09/2025: Great praise for the chef, but the service was zero stars. Disinterested and absent waiters, bordering on arrogant. Extremely long wait to even order the food. Had to go to the bar to order dessert and coffee because all the waiters were busy with the outside guests without it being particularly busy.. What a shame, because we would have liked to have ordered a main course, but decided to go straight to the coffee and dessert so as not to have to hang around there all afternoon.

24/10/2025: A gem in Esbjerg city. The sweetest hosts and the warmest, most wonderful place. Definitely worth a visit, whether you have lived here for a long time, are a tourist or on a short visit.

06/09/2025: I had a craving for a pancake with ice cream, and I got a pancake with ice cream, and I was really nice! 🥞🍦😋 They don't have hot chocolate on the menu, this surprised me a bit, since it would go really nice with the desert pancakes selection ☕🍫 Anyways, the pancake was perfect so 5 starts ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
