01/10/2025: We were looking for a nice place for a quick lunch and found this quaint, Danish restaurant. At first glance, it looks like a cluttered living room with tables and chairs, but it exudes a wonderful charm. We received a warm welcome and, without being asked, were given a recommendation for the restaurant. The food is based on Danish cuisine, but schnitzel is also available. The picture shows dish 17b. from the menu. We would eat there again.

26/10/2025: The ice cream is delicious, the coffee is great, there are lots of cute cups with cartoon characters for kids, the staff are super friendly, and there’s even a lovely view if you sit outside.

15/11/2025: We would have loved to spend some time here. But dogs aren't welcome. If they can, or rather, are tolerated, they're only allowed in the hallway. Unfortunately, they're not allowed in the lovely, warm café itself. The door is constantly opening, and if it's not opening, lots of people are walking past you in the hallway on their way to the restroom. For us, that's a definite no-go.

01/10/2025: We had a hot chocolate and some chocolate which was really good! If you are in Ribe this is a nice spot to have a break.

17/11/2025: Really cozy place in a local neighborhood, and the coffee is top notch, both the one they make on site, where they have their own roastery, and also the one you can buy to take home. Delicious homemade buns - everything is taken care of at Bean Machine, including a shelf with children's books, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Possibility to sit outside on the street, and occasionally there are events or small exhibitions that local enthusiasts are behind - it adds color and life to the neighborhood. I recommend the place to anyone who loves a really good cup of coffee, brewed with knowledge and passion, and who likes to discover little gems in local neighborhoods!

09/10/2025: My husband and I were coming back from watching the black sun starlings (which was an amazing experience) and we were cold and hungry. This cozy restaurant exceeded expectations in its welcome and warmth. I have a life threatening allergy due to alpha-gal allergy I developed from a tick bite. Which means I can’t eat any mammal meat or dairy at this time. Our waiter and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate me and created new additions to the fish dish that were delicious. The fresh beets and potatoes were so amazing as well! I highly recommend!

10/10/2025: We went on a seal and oyster safari as a staff trip. We had an absolutely fantastic day filled with wonderful nature experiences. Poul Erik and Anja were sweet and helpful. Poul Erik is a great communicator of interesting information about wildlife and the area and very patient in answering our many questions. Huge recommendation from here.

28/08/2025: We booked a seal tour from Mandö near Mandöpigen. And only realized shortly before departure that the road to Mandö is only passable at low tide. This fact should have been prominently mentioned when booking, not just in the tiny print on the booking confirmation (i.e., after you've already paid). The tour operator showed no willingness to accommodate (e.g., offer a replacement date) and referred to the tiny print on the order confirmation. I don't want to know how many booked trips are canceled in this way, so they can then spontaneously pick up waiting guests and make good money from double-paying for the trip. As I said, I expect such important information in capital letters before I pay. Anything else seems extremely dubious.

27/10/2025: A super delicious bakery. The baguettes and sandwiches are a dream. A stop is definitely worth it just for the bakery.

09/10/2025: A wonderful, small artisan bakery with friendly service. The cake (the Gulerodsnitte and Træstammer slices were very large) and the coffee were delicious and reasonably priced, too. Upon request, it's no problem to eat the cake there. We'd be happy to come back. This time, the pictures are of the sliced ​​cake so you can also see the delicious fillings (each picture shows only one half of the cake).

30/10/2025: A nice restaurant in a slightly quieter location. The men were very friendly and helpful. The pizzas were really delicious. They're baked in a bakery oven. Germans understand salsiccia to mean something different. This was more of a Danish version. It was still good, though. Unfortunately, the menu was only in Danish. But you can figure it out with Google Maps. And this isn't a touristy pizzeria. All in all, worth a visit.

24/10/2025: We're repeat customers. Delicious pizza and more. Everything is freshly prepared. The prices are absolutely fantastic. We always pick up, but you can also eat in. Just stop by and try it. Keep up the good work.

17/11/2025: Cozy premises, fantastically good food with lots of flavor, juicy meat. Large portions - nice prices compared to quality and other eateries. Something for everyone. Would definitely recommend Weis's living room. We will definitely come again!

06/09/2025: Great praise for the chef, but the service was zero stars. Disinterested and absent waiters, bordering on arrogant. Extremely long wait to even order the food. Had to go to the bar to order dessert and coffee because all the waiters were busy with the outside guests without it being particularly busy.. What a shame, because we would have liked to have ordered a main course, but decided to go straight to the coffee and dessert so as not to have to hang around there all afternoon.
