22/11/2024: Very cozy place. Fast service and smiling staff. The food is delicious and tastes homemade.

16/11/2024: Really bad experience. Flabby and stupid serving. Very bad food. Would have liked to have had vegetables instead of potatoes - but they (reportedly) had no vegetables! The potatoes were lousy, the plaice was only cooked properly on one side and the ice cream was crystallized and had no taste. With the otherwise good reviews, it must have been a really bad day for them

29/10/2024: A nice café in the heart of Ribe not far from the big church. The service is very friendly, everything is nicely decorated and you can also sit outside very comfortably - “hyggelig” 😊 We had a French press that came outside with a duck themed warmer. The coffee is very good ☕️

19/11/2024: When I entered the door at Café Danmark, I was surprised in a very positive way, the restaurant is very cozy and kept in the style of the forties and fifties, the staff was quickly ready to find a table for the two of us (my wife and me ) and show us the menu, even though the restaurant was 100% full, the staff were able to follow along, the food and drinks we ordered came to the table without a long wait, the food was really well prepared and the dessert and coffee were also well made, the staff were constantly around the tables, to see if we were missing anything, even though they had a lot to see to, the spirits were high and the service was top notch, it was a wonderful and good experience to visit Café Danmark, it is busy so it is a good idea to book a table in good time and have a little patience to find a parking space, I would like to come again and eat at Café Danmark

06/11/2024: Bad experience of older waiter. Was placed at a long table. Had to keep moving us so she could come by. Seemed very stressed and not very guest friendly A slightly unpleasant experience .

However, one of the waitresses was quite rude, declaring in front of everyone that the our online payment didn't go through and made me get up from chewing food to go and pay at their counter. She could've waited for us to finish the food as we were not running away without paying. They should not assume things just by looking at people and be pushy.

17/11/2024: The staff were super polite and you make some absolutely delicious fries, but your burger was pretty disappointing. First of all, the burger bun had had way too much, secondly there was relish in it which was not stated on the menu card and, in addition to that, it was also not stated on the menu card that your avocado cream was so strong that it was almost inedible. So yes, not the experience we had hoped for

03/11/2024: Great authentic hotel. Everything higgledy-piggledy, but neat. Disadvantage: no private sanitary facilities and difficult stairs. Also no parking. For that you have to walk ten minutes.

03/12/2024: The service was okay and the atmosphere was good. However, the food was a bit boring and I probably expected more. Ordered two cocktails which were not very good either and tasted way too much of alcohol. They lacked balance. In terms of price, it is also a bit expensive. I give 4 stars as I think there is room for improvement but a cozy place.

15/11/2024: An incredible place, everything I expect from a coffee, served by real coffee connoisseurs, they have coffee from Brazil, Mexico etc, you can drink there and talk or buy freshly ground coffee. Really good service, I would like more places like this in Esbjerg ♥️🇩🇰☕
