30/04/2026: I have now been a neighbor and customer of Sukuri Sushi for several years, and I must say that it is Copenhagen's BEST sushi you can get here! The service is good and humble, and the servings are always professionally made! Several times I have also ordered on behalf of private events and the opinions are always the same as mine about the food here😊😊 :-)!!!

02/08/2026: Delicious food and good service. We had the seasonal menu, which was served with appropriate intervals between the individual dishes. The wine was well matched to the food and a good and detailed review of both the with and the want for each serving. A place we have been before and will definitely visit again in the future 👍🏼🍽️

The waiter/owner really got into his job and could talk about both the food and the wines with emotion. He took his time at each table and made the experience very special with his exciting stories and great knowledge. It is clear that they are passionate about what they do and know exactly what they are talking about. 110% recommendation from here – we will definitely be back!

21/06/2026: Always polite service and delicious pizza 🍕 We've had pizza from many different places, but none compare to Laurbjerg Pizza and Grill 👌🏽 Their fries are also always really crispy and delicious!

06/08/2026: It's a bit variable with bread rolls, they've often been overcooked and are dry. The same goes for pre-made bread. Skagensbrød is always good, but doesn't last the next day.

24/07/2026: Wonderful place just a few hundred meters from the beach. We stayed in a small apartment, privately owned. Nice atmosphere and very quiet around the premises.

15/05/2026: When you stay at this hotel you are one of the many guests that stayed here since it opened 130 years ago which will be celebrated on July 2025. ​The history began on June 26, 1896, when developer Hildur Bang officially inaugurated what was then called Vesterhavsbadet Tannishus. The architecture drew inspiration from the 16th-century manor house Nørre Elkjær, which was owned by Hildur’s father. ​When it first opened, the hotel featured just one main wing with 13 rooms and a dining room, accommodating around 40 to 50 guests. At the time, terms like "guesthouse for bathing guests" (badehotel) were completely new, establishing Tannishus as one of the pioneers of the Danish seaside holiday movement. ​In January 1921, Ingeborg Skaun purchased the hotel, managing it for the next 42 years. Under her leadership, the hotel flourished and expanded. She built the Junkerfløj wing and added a tennis court in 1935. At that time ​wealthy guests from Copenhagen were picked up by carriage or car at the train station in nearby Sindal. ​Traditions were strict and guests spent weeks at the hotel year after year. ​Later new wings were added while strictly ensuring that all modernizations remained on the footprints of the original buildings to safeguard its historic spirit. I had a pleasant stay in on of the appartments which was nicely furnished and featured a complete kitchen with a small oven and a fridge. You sleep on couches that you convert into a bed. Bed linen and towels are not included in the price. This is because guests who stay for weeks bring their own. You can rent bed linen and towels from the hotel. I used a good hot sauna and a nice swimmingpool. ​

16/09/2026: They make you feel like you’re imposing on them and sort of ignore you as a single person even when you had a reservation and visited them during their slow hour. Even the plating for my dish was rushed compared to the dish I took a video of right before they plated mine! Sloppy, and a bit dismissive

13/09/2026: My boyfriend and I booked a table for 19.30, and were asked to leave after 40 minutes, because they ‘needed the table for the next group’. The pasta was very al dente and hard to chew, and the portion size was very small for the prize. Overall a very disappointing experience.. The restaurant replied to my boyfriend’s review, saying that they gave us the check 5 minutes before the one hour was up and that he is not telling the truth. Look at attached pictures of their reply to my boyfriend’s comment and our bill with timestamps of arrival and the printing of the bill.

01/09/2026: Very nice little grillbar. It is located on the side of a larger truckstop, but they have their own parking space. The lady we met was incredibly friendly, and the food was perfect! Bring your big appetite :)

09/08/2026: Really good food.. Prepared with experience and thoroughness. So tasty and delicious.. The place is nice, clean and tidy.. Definitely recommended.. We had fish fillet with fries and burgers with fries.. both perfectly cooked. And crispy fries.. really delicious
