25/12/2025: Great service and food but no baby station

03/12/2025: We just wanted a bite to eat on a Wednesday afternoon at 2pm. We were seated, moved to a sofa group. We wanted to order food at the counter, but were told we had ordered, uhh no we haven't, It actually got a little uncomfortable that she kept claiming we had ordered, until those who had ordered made themselves known. 3 of the things we wanted were sold out. We finally got drinks and food after 30 minutes. Both bagels were missing arugula, which they didn't have. The tam bagel with salmon had no flavor and the last panini that was ordered only had cheese and ham in half of it. It was a really disappointing experience, ugh. The place needed us to remove wilted flowers and clean it. Otherwise, an ok place with the decor. vh

24/10/2025: The place where silence smells of coffee and every mug preaches a sermon on simplicity. It was 11:17, the sun was slowly rising over Ringsted, and Els was sitting across from me in her leather jacket from the Etsy shop Johnny’s Vintage & Leathers—as if she’d just stepped out of a Scandinavian arthouse film. She said, “Harm, this isn’t a café. This is a sacred space with milk froth.” And she was right. Soft jazz played inside, the barista smiled Danish-style—friendly, but without emotion. The cappuccino was creamy, the air dry, the atmosphere as tight as a new belt. I thought of Etsy, of craftsmanship, of how leather lives and coffee does the same: it ages well, gains depth, character, patina. Els leafed through a Danish advertising brochure as if it were a holy book. She pointed to a selection of chairs and said, "Look, Harm, leather is everywhere, except where it belongs." I nodded, stroked my genuine leather cuff, and thought of Johnny's Vintage & Leathers—how every product has a human quality, a warmth in a world that increasingly resembles a showroom. Café Ingeborg isn't a hotspot, not a trendy filter bubble. It's a place where time goes to get coffee. Where the aroma of beans and leather merge into one thought: it's not about new, but about authenticity.

24/10/2025: Have only been there for a glass of wine on a Sunday. Seems really nice. A bit of a crazy place. Have heard really good things about both the food and the service. Really good wine and the wine list is something in itself. Ask for the wine list just for the experience... Nice and different wine selection. Haven't tried the food but everyone says it's good.

07/06/2026: Delicious food but service could be better as you don't have time to sit down before the waiter asks what you want to drink. Just because they are busy, the guests should still be allowed to have time to look at the drink menu and decide what they want to drink. The atmosphere is ok but you sit too close to each other between the tables. Otherwise the food itself is top star. So delicious.

05/06/2026: Will never go back again. We were celebrating a birthday and I have never experienced anything so disappointing. The chicken in the chicken curry was completely pink/raw. All other meat/chicken was simply so dry. Their sushi pieces were way too big, so it was just really disgusting. No fresh ingredients. You didn't even want to finish your first portion. Their cake was taken straight from the freezer and hadn't thawed before it was put on the buffet. The soft ice cream machine wasn't on, so you had to wait for it to be ready. Waste of money 🤢

04/04/2026: The food was amazing the quality was great. The owner was also very nice. Definitely get the Tiramisu it’s other worldly. Would 100% recommend.

01/01/2026: Bad service, long wait and burnt food There were two of us who arrived and got a table without a wait for New Year's, which was very nice. However, the restaurant was very smoky and smelled burnt. We started with appetizers, which tasted very nice. The wait for the main course was long and took about 40 minutes, if not more. We both ordered grilled chicken, and it was burnt and dry. The fries were also dry and tasted old. I complained to the waiter at the checkout and was passive-aggressively asked why I hadn't said it earlier. I replied that we had waited a long time for the food. She acknowledged this and gave us a discount by deducting drinks from the bill. The same waiter also came to our table earlier and said that we could tag the restaurant. This is not done as I do not promote burnt food and bad service.

20/04/2026: Really nice atmosphere and exceptional service. I had made a mistake about the opening time, but they were so accommodating to open earlier for us, an incredibly sweet and thoughtful gesture. Also, the offer of the day with cake and filter coffee is extremely affordable and perfect if you want something sweet with your coffee. I upgraded to a chai latte, which of course costs more

24/05/2026: An absolutely abysmal experience. The negative review here was clearly not an isolated incident, but rather the norm. The service was a complete disaster. Not only were we consistently ignored, but several other guests around us waited in vain to even be acknowledged. After having to actively approach the staff twice just to be allowed to order, nothing happened (spoiler alert: we never got to order because no one came). No drinks, no menu, no inquiry, absolutely nothing. We felt like we were being treated as bothersome supplicants rather than paying customers. On our third attempt, we approached a waitress again. The excuse: "It's very busy today" and the kitchen would be closing soon—a full hour later, mind you. Despite this, no one came to our table for another 10 minutes. After a total of 40 minutes of waiting without any service whatsoever, we finally left. The truly sad thing is: the ambiance has potential. But a beautiful restaurant is useless if you practically have to beg to be served—and even then, it doesn't work. That's no way to treat guests. We'll definitely be spending our money elsewhere in the future.

10/05/2026: Traveling from Houston, TX. We have been 3 times to pick up fresh bread and cakes. If you like them on Facebook, there are regular posts of the displays. I had already studied the posts, so I knew I wanted #1 The Carrot 🥕 Cake and 2nd trip Cheesecake!👍👍👍👍

29/04/2026: Brought home two cocoa-coconut slices that must have been sitting in the sun in the window for several days. Crispy and with a suspicious taste. Hardly worthy of the organic waste bin.

13/10/2025: Just love this restaurant 🥰 It's a real locals place where they can remember someone from previous visits, know if it's been a while and can remember what the favorite menu is.
