06/01/2026: We stayed close to this café, so we visited it regularly during our time in Copenhagen. We tried several cafés in the city, and Kaffevaerk definitely ranks among the top two. The latte is excellent, both with regular milk and oat milk – great foam, perfect temperature, and a really rich coffee flavor nicely mixed with milk. Highly recommended to anyone passing by 😊

20/11/2025: Really good coffee. There's nothing wrong with it. However, I have to make a criticism. I always used to buy my coffee from them both online and in store, but they have recently raised prices by, in some cases, over 33% from one day to the next. Their website has changed layout/design again and again and it is still super annoying to use. Last but not least, their new bags are just not as nice as their old design. I buy my coffee elsewhere now..

06/10/2025: Misleading marketing of your food – and hey, that’s not okay! At least be honest about the food you actually serve, so people don’t turn up their noses at something completely different. And when people wonder about it on the spot and mention it to you, you – God help me – get offended by it. Maybe you should just be honest about what you’re selling instead of cheating with it. I order what I think is a super delicious potato dish for 75 or 85 kr (it doesn’t really matter). The potato dish is beautifully displayed in a nice glass case – freshly made, I assume, since it looks so nice and inviting. Of course, I think that’s the kind of one I’m going to have. But no – it’s just for display, I’m told. The display food has fresh cucumber, chives, red onion, large crispy lettuce (no tomatoes) and plenty of potatoes, so it looks big and filling – exactly as a potato dish should be. 50 seconds pass, and then you come out with the smallest and saddest potato dish I have ever seen. It doesn’t look at all like the one you are displaying. I go into shock and end up paying anyway – but you could clearly see that you knew very well that it was nothing to be proud of. When I sit down, I ask the people I am with to go up and see the display food. They laugh and say: “Oh, they can’t mean that – it’s not even close to the one you got!” No red onion. No chives. No cucumber. A tired salad, almost no potatoes – and two sad tomato slices on top. If that food had cost 35 kr., I might have just eaten it without saying anything. But when you put a sumptuous, fresh potato dish on display and then serve something completely different, that is misleading marketing – and that is not okay. You could have taken it with a smile and said: “Yes, we know it doesn’t look exactly like the food on display – we need to change that.” There is no shame in making simple food. But don’t make guests think they are getting something that you are not delivering at all. I hope that one day I can come back and actually get a potato dish that looks like the one you so want to appear to be serving. I did get my money back – but not without an angry look and a clear insult. Excuse me for wanting what I thought I paid for. I deeply regret that. I am attaching pictures. In the first picture is the food I got. And in the other two the food in the cupboard is a little hard to see because there is food film around it. But you can clearly see all the things that are on the food.

17/06/2025: Super delicious lunch. We had open sandwiches and a club sandwich which were really good. Lovely little place and definitely worth a visit.

24/05/2025: A smaller place in Ringsted with a good atmosphere in bright rooms. The food is nicely presented, well-cooked and tasty. The service is friendly, welcoming, smiling and helpful. Thank you for a good experience 😊 PS. The pictures are from several good experiences at this place.

22/12/2025: Bad service. Unusually indifferent service, sad food, e.g. burger with limp salad (otherwise cold), over toasted bread and nachos with dry side dishes. Plus drink prices worthy of a festival. My advice is to stay away. Otherwise you'll just be in a bad mood.

14/09/2025: Rude service Non-existent fish fillet. Asked the waiter for a normal fillet and got the answer: that's just how it is! Asked if I could buy lemon and mayo. The waiter never returned. We were crammed together at a table that was too small so we sat and rubbed shoulders with each other. The French music was nice though.

07/10/2025: Went in to eat with two friends when we stayed at Feddet Strand Resort over the weekend. We are greeted by a sweet young woman who is clearly very nervous. Our order is taken by another nice guy. Our food comes with a 3rd person, who is a bit more dumb and indifferent. I order Danish chicken breast pickled rhubarb, Danish potatoes and sauce on chicken skin. I am served two small pieces of chicken, a small blob of mash of something or other, NO potatoes and a bit of sauce and rhubarb compote. It tasted really good. However, I was by no means full. My friend had ordered a tenderloin well-done, which came raw. We tell the waiter and he seems almost offended and takes it without saying a word. They come back with a new plate of food after about 15-20 minutes when the rest of us have almost finished eating. This time it's nice, and they also bring new side dishes in the form of fries and salad and say our drink is on the house as an apology. I eat the extra fries and salad my friend gets because I'm still hungry. When we have to pay he says it's only our friend's drink that has been taken off the bill (75 kr). Overall the experience was a bit bad after this experience, the food tastes good and the place is cozy, but the waiter could be more organized in their work, and professional about wrong orders. My food cost 255 for just the main course, which is a bit annoying to leave hungry. We will not be back

12/09/2025: Wow, Michelin-starred cuisine at a campsite... We went there without a reservation, outside of peak season. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable. We would have loved to go back again, but had to move on...

09/03/2026: Burger menus are okay but not for that price! Would almost call their burger a slider, considering the price of it. Especially because the fries are simply Copenhagen's most boring fries. The nuggets are good! Service is pleasant.

01/01/2026: Maybe it was mainly because it was January 1st and they were very busy, but this is the worst service I've ever had at Jagger - which (apart from when they tried to phase out their Bearnaise dip) has been my go-to burger chain. The fries were bland, the burger was a bit tasteless (under-salted/seasoned?), and I was there for pick-up and sat down to eat them less than 5 minutes later. Too bad when you spend over 350kr on 2 people's "non-junk food"... ugh.

08/10/2025: Moules frites were horrible, dry and overcooked. Had their cheesecake that was advertised as coming with strawberries and chokolade sauce but came with one (1!) very small strawberry and a decorative squeeze from a bottle of store bought chocolate sauce. Not impressed!
