21/02/2026: First visit: classic bacon burger. Absolutely fantastic and one of the best burgers I've tasted in Denmark. And pita with Greek steak. And fantastic.
Second visit: feta pizza. Very disappointing and in many ways boring. And durum with Greek steak, still super good.
But all in all, the burger raises the average wildly.

16/07/2025: Cozy little cafe where you can get refreshed after a long bike/walk. The food is standard cafe food, and you probably shouldn't go here to expand your gastronomic horizons, but with that said, the atmosphere is great, the staff and service are fantastic and the location is even better. If you're out walking in the area, or a walk on the beach, you should definitely stop and get something refreshing, but you shouldn't come from far.

14/08/2025: Bad style to close at 4pm… when EVERY place including the door says they close at 5pm…!!
We “only” stopped by for an ice cream. So that was fine. …. But met two people who had walked 20 km and were going to take a break here at the Høkeren.
We had been at the harbour all day. Saw a sign on the door with changed opening hours. Could be a smart idea. Then people could just come before 4pm
03/08/2025: Superb burgers with homemade fries! Simple and effective.
Very friendly waiters and cooks.
Beautiful terrace with a wonderful view of the harbor.
Don't hesitate!

It was also the first place I've seen that sold Harboe Cola, and in these times it's nice to see people going against the US and not buying Coca Cola. 💪🇩🇰
09/01/2026: Super good service! Bought 2 salads and got a discount because they weren't completely full. He was honest, accommodating and also had a sense of humor, even though I was a bit difficult 😄 It just makes for an extra good experience.

05/02/2025: Lovely food and great service. We had the chicken and the hake with a side of patatas bravas. The hake was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious.
