02/08/2025: If you dream of a trip back to the 50s USA, Stacy’s Diner in Østerbro is an obvious choice. The restaurant is done in a retro style with neon signs, red leather benches and an atmosphere that exudes American nostalgia.

17/03/2026: I actually pity the chefs in the kitchen, they make a piece of art and the female waitress proceeds to make the experience comparable to eating 20 cent instant noodles under a bridge. To be honest, I’d prefer the bridge and noodles next time I will choose between the two of them. Not even talking about having to buy a drink “because this is a restaurant” and you can’t eat until you buy small bottle of water for 4 euros (cheapest option). Don’t ignore the bad reviews, avoid the place, we already made that mistake for you.🤗

29/12/2025: The first time I've had something it was so bad the fries were cold and soggy the burger the chicken the new one was dry and boring Said my boyfriend The only thing that was as it should be was the water I got otherwise it was nothing but a failure 181 kroner for something that was dry and boring So this time once was something junk pay so much money for it this is the last time I spend my money on it

31/12/2025: This review is done mainly to highlight the very rude behaviour we experienced from one of the female managers on the afternoon of the 31st of Dec around 4.30pm. We had finished our ramens and ordered two deserts. After a while the waitress came with a third desert and it transpired it had been a mixup. One of the now half eaten deserts was added by the waitress by mistake, she was very lovely apologises and promised a refund. Shortly thereafter the manager came, clearly irritated, telling us that we get a refund but then she’s going to take the remains of the desert way. She basically snatched out of my hand when I gave it back to back, slammed it down on the tray and disappeared, she processed our refund for a coconut ice cream around 4.30pm. We were quite stunned having been treated like garbage by a member of the management team, this totally soured our otherwise nice experience.

26/12/2025: The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was very busy, and the staff couldn't keep up with everyone, so we had to wait a long time. The staff brought the food, but we had to wait and ask for cutlery!

14/05/2026: Got a salad pizza 🍕 It was good – not undercooked or anything. It was a nice experience, reminiscent of most other pizzerias. You got full for a reasonable price, and what more could you really ask for?

16/10/2025: Fantastic experience at Restaurant Aristo. We had a thoroughly wonderful evening at Aristo. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by smiling and welcoming waiters who really knew how to make us feel welcome. The service was top notch – attentive, professional and with a genuine interest in our having a good experience. The food was nothing short of excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour – you could clearly feel the love for the good craftsmanship and the fresh ingredients. We had both fish and meat, and everything was cooked to perfection. The waterfront atmosphere and the relaxed, elegant atmosphere make Aristo a place you want to come back to again and again. A huge thank you to the entire team – both the kitchen and the waiters – for an experience in a class of its own. We are already looking forward to our next visit

30/08/2025: We had the best dinner of our entire 14-day vacation in Denmark at this litte restaurant! The Cod was amazing and very well prepared! The dessert had us dreaming of more. The view and the service were great. 5 stars well deserved!

20/05/2026: Today, Arslan's coffee cart in one of Herning's industrial areas is supposed to have tested their steak sandwich with sauce. Arrived at 11.22 and ordered immediately from the fresh ladies. The food was ready at exactly 11.28. The first impression of the steak sandwich is that it looks very standard grill bar-like and that there is perhaps just enough sauce. The bun is a standard sesame burger bun that is nicely toasted. At the bottom we find some beetroot that tastes a lot like our friends from Beausvais, on top we find a freshly fried ground beef of approx. 110-120 grams, the steak is deliciously fried, has a fantastic frying crust and the meat tastes great and is perfectly seasoned. It's just so nice when you hit a burger bar that freshly fries the meat and hits it in the ass. 👍🏻 👍🏻. In addition, we find a few water lilies (pickled cucumbers) which I think are home-pickled, it certainly tastes really good and not like store-bought pickles. You find delicious soft onions which taste great as well as a sprinkle of raw onions. Standard ketchup and remoulade are also present, in a nicely adjusted amount. The sauce and it is a sauce, it is homemade, it tastes so good that the birds sing, nicely spicy, maybe a little on the salty side for some but not me, maybe it is a little salty because the sauce color has not been held back. Great. But there should have been a little sauce on the plate and a spoon. DKK 75.- costs such a steak sandwich at Arslan's coffee cart in Herning and it is worth every penny. Home-fried steak, delicious meat, roast crust, fantastic sauce, yes it saves everything. In the burger bar segment in Denmark, it belongs to the absolute best end and therefore lands at 4 out of 5 stars in this segment, and 3 out of 5 stars among all the steak sandwiches I have tested (including restaurants and gourmet restaurants where everything is homemade) but a huge recommendation from here, it is a good price, good food and tastes great. Thanks for the food.

15/06/2026: First pasta dish came with a fly in it, they brought a new one which was so oversalted, ate three bites, terrible pasta, from someone who cooks a lot of food myself I know how pasta should be made, most disappointing food experience, their carpaccio was also way too salty, couldn't taste anything but salt, so bad experience, won't be back, really wouldn't recommend, we unfortunately left hungry🥲

05/06/2026: Very disappointing experience. The prices were not at all in line with the quality or portion sizes. The focaccia consisted of four small pieces of bread with a little oil, and you had to pay extra for a teaspoon of pesto. The caprese appetizer was very simple and did not seem worth the money. We waited a long time for the food, and when the pasta came, the portions were very small and did not taste as expected. The service seemed disinterested, and we did not feel particularly welcome. Even the glasses seemed cheap and most reminded us of something from a school kitchen. All in all, an expensive and disappointing experience that we will not repeat.
