01/12/2025: Buffet: the food is not hot, and the nice food was sold in boxes out of the store... But you get fed up quickly - well, I'll come back in 10 years and see if it's better 🫣

20/10/2025: I don't know what you're doing now, but it used to be better. After eating yesterday, we had a stomach ache and felt so bad we almost threw up. You should focus more on the freshness of your food, because it was an unpleasant experience. We won't be back.

24/10/2025: Got burned with a lunch date and what then?. Found this wonderful place on the harbor. Delicious fried pork with wonderful sauce and fantastic potatoes. Great. The wife got a delicious and well-prepared shrimp cocktail. Both dishes in a suitable size.

21/08/2025: So apparently “All You Can Eat” here means “All You Can Eat… of whatever they feel like giving you.” You don’t get to order, you just sit there and hope for the best. This little detail? NOWHERE on the website, the sign, or from the staff. We called them out because, honestly, that feels like a scam. Funny enough, they’ve since updated the website… guess they knew. Oh, and charging for leftover sushi when it’s the kitchen who decides which and how many? Be serious. Also, why does every sushi tastes and look like it got baptized in mayo/cream? This place is for people who like paying premium prices to play “What’s That Roll?” and lose every time.

02/10/2025: Awesome. I ordered a chicken burger. Got one with fish. My friend ordered a large french fries, His bag is smaller than mine. Got a hamburger that was smaller than the palm of my hand.

01/10/2025: Theory and practice: see the pictures. After a renovation, the place has unfortunately become very sterile and less cozy. Max has gone completely crazy with plant ingredients, so you have to read the menu carefully. The products are not described with content, but inventive names: Crispy Supreme is yellow peas, Plant Beef is soy), My Goodness is beans. It is fine to have freedom of choice, but it takes a very long time to examine the menu if you want to know what they contain. Some of the names are downright misleading, e.g. Plant Beef. It is of course not legal to call it “Beef” if it is not made from beef. Allergy information is also difficult to find. The ingredient lists are not correctly translated into Danish. Max was better seven years ago, when I gave it five stars. Max is more expensive than its two closest competitors, but the quality no longer justifies such a high price. The Mojo salsa sauce is very good.

24/11/2025: I ducked in here this morning because it just looked welcoming (and the sleet was getting in my eyes). What a great chance encounter! Awesome flat white, super friendly staff and that bun….!! I may bring my work back here later.

21/11/2025: We came in and sat down, and went up and ordered, AFTER we ordered, a completely disrespectful young lady who worked there came and said we couldn't sit down, but we had ordered, so we were welcome to. The coffee was very bitter and overall a very bad experience with service and food, but it's an okay nice and cozy place to be, but just make sure it's VERY obvious that you've bought something, otherwise you'll get some very disrespectful behavior from the employees.

02/01/2026: Sourdough bread 52,- high, but ok for the quality. 69!!!kr for a to-go cocoa...maybe homemade with good cocoa, but at that price, you don't scrape the bucket for whipped cream when there's not even enough for one, and I bought two. In addition, you fill it up right up to that price, "with" whipped cream, you were still two cm from the top...come when I asked/said, but don't act a little self-righteous at that price. Thank you, and goodbye and thank you.

14/08/2025: We had booked a table and asked for a flag on the table as we were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the flag never arrived. We ordered the 4-course menu for 495 consisting of fried tiger prawns, smoked beef sole, veal tenderloin and a dessert. The fried tiger prawns lacked acidity, the prawns were warm. The smoked beef sole had an overwhelming taste of the smoke and lacked any contrast. The veal tenderloin had a bland taste and the same for the vegetables that were included. The dessert consisted of meringue in pieces with whipped cream and fresh strawberries in pickle. All in all, the menu bears the impression that most guests probably come from the hotel's "holiday packages" and not something that you are after.

05/08/2025: We have just left a dinner party at the hotel. Absolutely the worst experience. No service. No flexibility. When I asked if there were more sandwiches, I was told that there were the number that had been ordered. Normally, you have a kitchen that can quickly produce more. The layer cake was dry without any notable filling and the cookies were apparently from Netto's shelves. When you cover up to 80 and 80 arrive, you have to ask the hostess if she wants 2 sandwiches for everyone present and not if she wants more. The hostess, who has just buried her husband, will hardly be able to decide on that. I know the hostess very well. It might have been obvious to ask the 2 daughters. I am well aware of the rules regarding changes in orders, I have more than 30 years of experience in the industry, e.g. The number of participants in a memorial gathering increased from 100 to 200 people. My kitchen handled it.
