10/09/2023: Decent overall, but big flaw was that the fish had an unchewable membrane inside that should’ve obviously been cut away. It was there through all pieces of the roll, and was clearly visible from the outside. Gives an impression that they’re trying to utilize every single bit of fish although the quality doesn’t justify it (food waste minimization is of course great)

15/05/2026: Dee Dee’s Sandwich in Aarhus is a great place if you are looking for delicious and freshly prepared food. Their sandwiches are truly top-notch with fresh ingredients, great flavor combinations and lots of filling. The bread is always delicious and fresh, and you can really taste that quality is in focus. Their pasta salads also deserve high praise. The portions are good, the ingredients taste fresh, and there is plenty of flavor in every dish. It is perfect both as a quick lunch or a filling meal during the day. The atmosphere in the shop is cozy and relaxed, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The service is fast, even when it is busy, and you always feel welcome. All in all, Dee Dee’s Sandwich is one of those places in Aarhus that you return to again and again. Excellent sandwiches, really good pasta salads and good service all the way through. Highly recommended!

21/02/2026: Didn't get what we ordered. Tasteless food.

10/06/2025: It seems to be good ingredients, and the bread is definitely really good - chewy and flavorful, so it indicates both good time and fairly good flour. Unfortunately, they have misunderstood the concept of deep pan pizza, and instead make pan deep bread with toppings. So, 2-3 cm bottom is a strong guy, and it will be somewhat dry without the "deep" filling. In the same way, a "half-baked" turns out to be, well, almost, an oblong bread, with a slit, where a little cheese, etc. is necessarily placed. A more accurate sign would probably be Star Backery Ryomgård, but we are different, and there are probably some who like it that way. Hygiene is a strange thing, because it's surprising that you keep the place neat, tidy and clean, and with fine alcohol at the entrance, when you have to watch the sniffling french fry packer stand and wipe her nose in the palm of her hand, repeatedly, without washing her hands, without alcohol, and afterwards touch the french fries I was supposed to eat directly. Adrv, it was just disgusting, and tells me that hygiene may not be a priority. If you haven't learned that you shouldn't use your hand for snot, and also to wash your hands, then you shouldn't work with food. I hope I never experience something like that again.

08/06/2025: very tasty and good food! We have tried bacon cheese burger and rullekebab. the size and meat quallitty surprised in a good way! We will come back there for sure

05/12/2025: Shanti used to be our favorite. They had the best butterchicken here in Roskilde without a doubt. It was absolutely perfect, but I wonder what happened, because the last two times we ordered, it's so far from what we used to enjoy, but what you get now when you buy it, it's simply not the same - and not butterchicken. It's sad, but this is officially the last time we'll order from there.

21/11/2025: Edited after new owner: They use a completely different rice than before, still charge an exorbitant amount of money for what is basically mediocre, and their chicken is not as good. The replaced rice actually ruins the whole dish, this place no longer makes good food, avoid it.

07/07/2025: Bar with great music and cold beers. A bit focused on the regulars, but there should be room for that too. Good experience if you want a bodega atmosphere

16/11/2024: Really unfriendly service, no communication between employees, meaning one let us book a table at 8, and when we arrived, we got told that the person on the phone didn’t know they were closing and that we needed to leave, all of that in a very denigrating manner, without any excuses. Don’t go there!!

16/11/2024: After booking a table for 2 at 20, we got basically kicked out saying we could only do take away because they were about to close. It’s really unprofessional to let people book a table and then don’t serve them, it’s up to the owner/workers know when they close.

17/12/2025: A shop for the discerning customer. Here you will find some incredibly delicate and tasty wines, but also special beers, champagne and other drinks that are not on the shelves in a supermarket. Prices from about 100,- and up - quality costs a little extra, and that's how it should be! A shop I would definitely recommend - both for gift purchases, but definitely also for your own consumption.

17/08/2024: The chicken thigh and aioli were the best thing on the menu. Unfortunately, the remaining pieces of chicken were dry and the fries had no salt at all. Unfortunately for us it was not worth the money. However, the host was friendly and polite.
