24/10/2025: We chose the restaurant as we were staying at the hotel and the weather was not inviting for a bushwalk. A bit high price level for a Norwegian these days, but the food we got was really good. One of the best meals I have been served in Skagen…..

18/09/2025: Restaurant Holger is the hotel's own restaurant at the Color Hotel in Skagen. We wouldn't have expected such a magnificent restaurant in a 4-star hotel. We had fish soup with a fantastic garnish, top-fresh mussels, langoustines, and cod. The soup was poured at the table... as it should be. Afterward, we had Atlantic lobster with crayfish, green asparagus, and sautéed mushrooms, simply divine! The price-performance ratio here is just right ⭐️

18/08/2025: Amen to hell then, now get into the game, I pay for the dressing the most important part, open the tray when I get out of the car, I am hit by a terrible sight, no dressing. And not only that, the pizza is not cut, satme ring

12/09/2025: I had a fantastic time at 8660 in Skanderborg! The atmosphere is really cozy and welcoming, with a great mix of locals and visitors. The staff is super friendly and attentive, always making sure you feel comfortable. Drinks are top quality, with a great selection of beers and cocktails at fair prices. It’s definitely the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good music, and have a fun night out. Highly recommend if you’re in Skanderborg!

11/07/2025: I saw a sign that says “ALL Americans must be accompanied by an adult” and thought that it’s interesting that we in Skanderborg decide to have this attitude seeing that smukfest is right around the corner (Many artist and festival goers are American). Anyways it fits into what I’ve heard and have experienced about the place. People who look too foreign or sound foreign are always the first they turn away when the place gets a bit busy. From the first look at the sign it could be a joke (a tasteless one) but in combination with people’s experiences this proves to be more of a telling statement. I do understand the reference but I don’t see how it’s applicable/necessary in this situation. The drinks are decent however the level of hygiene in the bathrooms is questionable. Wouldn’t recommend this place and I don’t plan on ever going again seeing that I would be supporting this behaviour.

29/11/2024: That's all right. Glad they exist! - that's about all I have to say about them... Oh no! - my favorite pizza is Hareskov Special. Can be recommended if you are in the area, but probably not something I would go to great lengths to get my hands on.

03/08/2025: I have eaten sushi at this place before and it was very nice, with good service. When I was on the chase to drink a few cocktails, I was treated unpleasantly by the staff. I was waiting in the toilet for my friend when a doorman suddenly came rushing in and grabbed my arm, saying “that’s enough for tonight”. I then asked him what was wrong/what I had done wrong, to which he replied “you know that yourself”. I ended up being thrown out of the bar without any explanation whatsoever despite me asking repeatedly and asking for an explanation.

26/10/2025: Centrally located hotel. We stayed in the largest room. It is about 22 square meters. There is practically no storage space for clothes and there is nothing more than a single shelf in the bathroom. The view will be nice because they are demolishing the house next to the hotel and it will be beautiful when it is finished. There is a really good breakfast and the service from the staff is good. They serve good drinks in the bar, however there was not much heat in the lobby. However, it says on the hotel's website that they serve a pizza slice with Saturday evening when you buy a drink, but we did not get that. There is no restaurant in the hotel itself but there are some options around the hotel. There are options behind the hotel, however only with 3 hours of parking. The reason we are not giving more stars is because of the cleaning. You have to order cleaning which we did. But there was only a superficial vacuuming, the bed was not made. It has been a long time since anyone has vacuumed under the bed or wiped the dust off on top of the small cupboard. There were things on the radiator from a previous guest. Even though the hotel was not up to date it was ok for a few nights. But as I said good service

02/05/2025: Very good kunafe, a bit too sweet for my taste but my friend loved it. Lemon mint drink is also very fresh, highly recommend :)
