04/09/2025: Would give more stars if I could - the sweetest worker, always smiling and he actually remembers your face! The bagels are some of the best I’ve ever had and he puts in a LOT of protein (Chillicheddar bagel with tuna)

02/08/2026: My parents are extremely satisfied with both the service, delivery time, taste, quantity and variety of dishes in general. My mother has always cooked good old-fashioned food herself, but can no longer do so now, but I still get it - just made by Sønderup Landkøkken now. I have also had the pleasure of eating with them and it was really delicious and filling. It also seems that there is a focus on good nutritional content and a healthy and varied diet. You order yourself per month - what you want to eat. Upon delivery, you can make the dishes warm in the microwave oven, which my mother prefers. They are warm upon delivery. If you move the dishes from the trays they are delivered in and onto a plate, they look just as delicious as they taste. Attached are pictures for example.

15/08/2026: Nice place, fine food! Though a few changes on the plates could life the food into a much higher experience! I hope to revisit as I hope the team and kitchen will improve! It is fine, definately worth a visit!

25/07/2026: When all of Fredrikshamn is dead and you open the door to the monk, you are hit by a thick smell of smoke, loud music and a fantastic family atmosphere. Locals who are happy and singing. Cheap beer. Fresh toilets. The remaining bars on the street need to step up a bit. Hats off to the monk. Everyone should go here during their stay. Warm greetings from Sweden.

27/02/2026: I ordered two pizzas, but there was a mistake with one of them – it had garlic on it, which my boyfriend can’t stand. So we asked for it to be remade and they sent a new pizza. When we were going to share the second pizza, I started eating it because I didn’t want it to get cold while we waited. When they brought the new pizza, they demanded the first one back. They got very angry that I had taken a piece of it, and spoke in an unpleasant and accusatory tone. This is without a doubt the worst service experience I have ever had.

10/10/2024: It was simply a fantastic experience. The food was tasty and seasonal, the service was informal but attentive. Wine by the glass at reasonable prices but high quality. We will definitely be back soon.

12/08/2024: Stedet fremstår beskidt og rodet, der mangler servietter, bordene er klistret og beskidte, der står kopper og glas på flere borde, dog er vi kun to i caféen. Vi måtte bede om en klud til at tørre bordet vi skulle sidde ved af. Kagen vi fik var tør og kedelig.
