10/06/2025: Good pizza, good service. Can definitely be recommended!

21/02/2026: Today it is Viborg Golf Café that will have tested their offer of a steak sandwich with gravy. Arrived at 11.50 to the beautiful restaurant and was nicely shown a table and ordered immediately as we knew what we wanted. The food was served at the table exactly at 12.12 and the first impression is that the food is beautifully presented, looks really inviting and that there is plenty of it. The bun is a brioche bun that is nicely toasted and tastes like a standard brioche bun should taste. The top and bottom bun are smeared with a delicious homemade dijonnaise that tastes really really good, it is perfectly balanced and scratches just a little without taking too much over. There are finely chopped beets that taste nice and pickled cucumbers that also taste quite nice and both are nicely balanced in terms of quantity. There are raw red onions and home-pickled red onions that taste wonderful and they have a wonderful acidity. In addition, we find homemade roasted onions and it tastes really good and gives a nice crispness to the dish, while it looks nice. We also find room for remoulade, cranberries and cress, which also taste delicious on their own. The steak is 175-180 grams I think and it is freshly fried, it has a nice roasting crust and the meat is perfectly seasoned and tastes like quality meat should taste. The steak was almost cooked through which is a shame, a steak should be pink in the middle, so it should be taken out of frying at 55 degrees in core temperature and rest for 3-4 minutes. A bit of a shame but having said that, it still tasted good. The sauce is a story in itself, it is flavorful, has depth and the kind of sauce you just want more of. The good thing is that there is plenty of it THANK YOU. All in all, it is a really well-composed steak sandwich that belongs to the better end of the scale and if they can keep up the standard when it gets busy, then what will happen? Along with the dish, a nice large portion of giant fries is served that are really crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside, as well as 2 different kinds of homemade dip. You will be both full and happy to visit Viborg Golf Café and eat their steak sandwich. Delicious, we will come again, huge recommendation. 4.2 stars out of 5 possible. The price we paid was 159.- per person, which is more than acceptable.

29/10/2023: Ordered a frankfurter with bacon. Rarely have I received such a poor product. The sausage and bacon were raw. And since I didn't eat there, I didn't have time to drive back and get my money back. Won't be back.

05/08/2024: Fra vi går ind og bliver vist hen til et bord på restauranten og til vi modtager maden, går der 50 minutter. Der var 4 tjenere og 1 spansk kok der stod i gården og lavede paella, som man kun kunne få, hvis man havde forudbestilt. Og det havde vi ikke gjort, så vi bestilte fra menukortet. Men fra vi sætter os ved bordet, går der lang tid, før en tjener kommer. Vi var selv nødt til at vifte en hen, for de kom ikke på eget initiativ. Tjeneren spørger så hvad vi skal have at drikke, men vi vil jo også gerne have frokost, så måske han troede vi var med på paella holdet. Igennem hele oplevelsen der, virkede flere af dem faktisk lidt overrasket hvis man ikke var en del af dem der skulle have paella. Men vi får bestilt, og venter i den bagende sol til at klokken er 13:48. Og vi fik bordet omkring kl. 13. Maden var da god. Men 50 minutter inden vi får mad, det blev vi altså stærkt skuffet over. Så lang tid kan det vel ikke tage at lave en æggekage. Vi kunne fornemme at alle dem som fik paella, blev vældig godt holdt øje med om de manglede noget, og nu når deres mad blev lavet i gården, tænkte vi det måtte aflaste i køkkenet. Så at det tog så lang tid er mig virkelig en gåde. Tjenerne virkede ikke særlig organiseret og gik mere rundt på må og få. Når man endelig kommer en tur på Ærø, er det ret ærgerligt, at man skal bruge så meget af tiden på at vente på mad.

03/10/2023: I ordered at 5:04 PM and expected my food to be ready quickly. My food didn't arrive until 6:47 PM. I got bad service from a bad employee. They gave me a cold pizza and when I got home I found nose hair on it. The worst place I have ever eaten at in my life

28/07/2023: The place is closed, no phone answer or any kind of info on this. Drove in vain for several kilometers. Started by driving to the indicated address out by the harbor, this turned out to be a mistake. No sushi places by the harbor. Then I could see in one of the pictures that the place was next to a flower shop (fortunately close to the harbor), but here the place was also closed and turned off.

09/11/2023: Really delicious poke bowl with crispy chicken. A nice selection of vegetables, good dressing and a lot of crispy chicken pieces at a very affordable price. This is definitely not the last time we order from here. Thanks for the delicious food.

28/11/2023: Really cozy restaurant, friendly and fresh service. I've only tasted their roll kebab the times I've visited the restaurant, and there's no doubt it's the absolute best I've had in East Jutland! Thanks for the food 😊👌
