24/04/2025: Nice restaurant with your food and good service. It is definitely recommended to eat here as a family. However, you should probably book a table especially during the tourist season. The prices were quite fair considering how big the portions are (I didn't leave hungry).

30/04/2025: How lucky that a friendly woman at the ruins of Hammershus gave us the tip to go to the small harbor of Hammerhavn - “They have the best sandwiches there!” No sooner said than done. The harbor is tiny, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the small, pointed wooden hut of the kiosk is almost inconspicuous. But what's happening here is real sandwich craftsmanship at the highest level. It was difficult for us to choose from the lovingly written boards, so we decided on a salmon sandwich, a chorizo ​​sandwich and a rugbrødtoast. Two young women prepared everything with clearly a lot of love and attention. After about ten minutes we sat in the sun - and were overwhelmed. The rugbrødtoast with grainy bread, mozzarella and Serrano ham: sensational! Crispy, hearty, perfectly balanced. The two sandwiches afterwards: simply great. Crunchy, toasted bread, wonderfully layered, fresh salad, juicy topping. The salmon: tender, slightly salty, of high quality. The chorizo: with a pleasant spiciness, perfectly balanced. Honestly – the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. I personally thanked both women. 31 euros for three loaves of bread? Not a bargain – but worth every single cent. Definitely go there!

The salmon on the wooden plank was amazing and we also really enjoyed the cod with Riesling sauce and Arctic shrimp 😋😋 Katharina and Claus are really great hosts, we felt very comfortable and were happy to have met you. 25/08/2024: We all got four fish'n'chips - one gluten-free (without breading). Really good fish and perfectly cooked.

22/04/2025: Fish n chips were really average, fish burger boring. Fries were okay. It took them 40 min to have it ready.

09/02/2025: A small port and this restaurant in such a charming place. We ate here with my son during a bike trip and it was one of the best restaurants during the entire trip. I highly recommend it, although it's not the cheapest but you have to pay for the quality :)

20/03/2025: The last time we visited the place, we got a rather dry and boring roast pork sandwich, which lacked both dressing (which in this case is mayo) and sourness. However, the location is phenomenal and there is always a good atmosphere.

31/10/2024: Yes, there is our popular fish fillet again with fries and a small salad bowl. It's a little more expensive than last year, but still just as tasty. They are two good pieces of fried fish, which sets them apart from other competitors. It is much more fish meat with a crispy breading. The fries are served crispy, with remoulade, and a bowl of carrot sticks, raisins and lemon slices. If the weather is not ideal (on Bornholm?), there is the option to dine in a large room. When the weather is good, there are enough outdoor spaces. The very friendly staff brings the ordered food to the table. There are various parking spaces available, but if there aren't enough, there are more free ones opposite, to the left of the former cannery. Various fresh fish, salads and preparations are offered from the in-house smokehouse. The fish cakes are among my most popular. It's definitely worth a visit!!
