17/10/2024: What an amazing place! As a self proclaimed burger snob from CPH i was of course a bit sceptical, but that scepticism quickly disappeared. Both the beef and chicken burger was absolutely amazing, beef was flavourful, tasty and the bun was so soft and nice. The chicken burger was even better, never tasted so light and fluffy chicken before. I hope the good word spreads around about this place so more visit as it is 5 min off usual tourist area.

11/09/2024: Very good and tasty food, we were there twice and were very impressed both times. The salmon on the wooden plank was amazing and we also really enjoyed the cod with Riesling sauce and Arctic shrimp 😋😋 Katharina and Claus are really great hosts, we felt very comfortable and were happy to have met you. 22/10/2024: En gemytlig och enkel bar med goda smørrebröd. Även varma drycker med goda saker att hälla i t ex kaffet kan man få här. Sitter du ute finns värma och även fårfällar att nyttja.

31/10/2024: Yes, there is our popular fish fillet again with fries and a small salad bowl. It's a little more expensive than last year, but still just as tasty. They are two good pieces of fried fish, which sets them apart from other competitors. It is much more fish meat with a crispy breading. The fries are served crispy, with remoulade, and a bowl of carrot sticks, raisins and lemon slices. If the weather is not ideal (on Bornholm?), there is the option to dine in a large room. When the weather is good, there are enough outdoor spaces. The very friendly staff brings the ordered food to the table. There are various parking spaces available, but if there aren't enough, there are more free ones opposite, to the left of the former cannery. Various fresh fish, salads and preparations are offered from the in-house smokehouse. The fish cakes are among my most popular. It's definitely worth a visit!!

22/10/2024: Nice place, expensive but not so good food. Ordered hot smoked salmon with salad & bread. The salmon was a bit dry but good. The salad was brown-edged, the bread sparsely added and the dressing probably from a bottle of Italian dressing from the supermarket poured into a small plastic jar. We felt cheated.

21/09/2024: Their affogato is extremely good. If you like coffee it is a detour worth taking.

25/09/2024: Eating at Basta makes you realize that when a project is run right, you can taste the identity and soul in every bite. This is pizza made by people who love what they do. Absolutely delicious. Perfectly flavourful and slightly sweet sauce, amazing dough. If you don’t try it you’re crazy.

23/09/2024: Super duper pizza, rarely tasted better! We got pepperoni, margretha, potato+bacon and the one with pear. All tasted fantastic in their own way.

16/09/2024: You can get Denmark's best ice cream 🍦🇩🇰 at Bornholms Ismejeri. The ice cream is just so delicious. Especially love your raspberry ice cream and your licorice ice cream, which are best when enjoyed together. Bornholms Ismejeri's ice cream, I dare say, reaches Italian gelato level😍🍦

29/09/2024: A really good experience. It won't be the last time we eat there. The food was good and adapted to 4 dishes in the portions, you feel very comfortable afterwards. The wine menu was lovely, but not all matched the food. The staff were fantastic, lively, present and, despite a full house, exuberant.
