14/08/2026: We just walked by and decided to come in. When we will go back home, this is where I am going to buy all the treats and take them to USA. This bakhlava is a piece of art. It melts in your mouth! Thanks God we bought a small plate- we could not stop eating it! And the biggest thing it’s not overly sweet, very mild taste. Perfect place to try Eastern sweets and buy as a gift. The owner is as sweet as his goods! Very friendly and gives out samples!

14/05/2026: Bought 1.5 kg of halawat el jebn in the new section. We found a hair in it while we had guests. It is simply not okay and very unhygienic. Very disappointing experience.

20/07/2025: Cozy little place with a lovely terrace on the riverbank. Friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

25/06/2025: During our last day in Copenhagen, we went into El Cava for one drink on our way back to the hotel. My wife and I ended up staying 2 hours talking with the bartenders Clara, Sophie, and a new HS graduate Mathildae. They were very inquisitive in the similarities and differences in our cultures. It was the highlight of my stay in Denmark. I was very impressed with the young adults in Denmark. Please support this bar. The beer was outstanding and my wife loved the mixed cocktails Clara prepared.

21/07/2026: 🔴Raw fries and even worse customer service🔴 I was on the phone with my sister and was listening in when she ordered a kebab box with fries, kebab, salad and dressing. When she started eating, she discovered that the fries were raw. So she quietly went up to the cashier to point out the problem and asked for a new box. What happened next was honestly shocking. Instead of apologizing for the mistake and taking responsibility, she was greeted with the question "What do you mean?" She literally had to pick up a french fry, break it open and mash it between her fingers to prove that it was raw. Having a customer stand there and prove that the food was not cooked properly is completely unacceptable. When they finally acknowledged the problem, they said "Oh okay, so you want it cooked through." No. She didn't want anything special, she just wanted regular, pre-fried fries that any paying customer would expect. As if that wasn't enough, the staff continued with a condescending and sarcastic attitude. They asked, among other things, "How do you want your salad? How do you want your kebab?" in a way that was clearly intended to make it seem like she was being difficult and unreasonably demanding. She wasn't asking for anything extraordinary, she was just asking for food that was cooked properly. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant. What matters is how you handle them. The staff that day (20/07-26) were completely wrong about it. Another customer who had witnessed the situation suggested that she could get a new box as a solution. He was just trying to help, but was immediately told not to interfere. Instead of taking responsibility, apologizing, and correcting the mistake, they chose to make the customer suspicious, be flippant, and make her feel like she was the problem. This is without a doubt the worst customer service I have witnessed in a long time. When you serve raw food and treat your customers like that, it sends a very clear signal about how little you value your customers. Very disappointing experience. We will not be back and unfortunately cannot recommend the place.

09/06/2026: The brunch buffet is ok but it doesn’t have much. Often the food was a bit cold or dry. Price is quite ok though and the plates seemed to have rather big portions when not from the buffet. You get the plate when you order and it is a bit annoying to to be able to get a new one if everything is dirty. Filtered coffee and tea are included in the price and there isn’t a limit time which is very good. The place is very spacious which makes it good to go with friends or a big group.

03/05/2026: This car wash is a disaster. It's out of service many times due to various breakdowns. It's broken more often than it works.

28/10/2025: Gasp! Exam time is approaching😬 We have to study, and where better than with a view of the harbor and a little something good for the palate. The coffee is expensive, but there is a student discount on filter coffee and tea, so keep that in mind. There is a café where you can read comfortably and a reading room where you can grind hardcore Highly recommended

25/06/2026: Not what it used to be. Not worth a visit, not sure why Michelin even mentions it still. Used to be a high quality fine dining experience. Food looks amazing however taste and quality does not live up to a basic standard. Last visit the potatoes were uncooked, no dish was anything special in terms of taste. Service was not paying enough attention (empty wine glasses). So much better choice in Copenhagen at comparable prices. A true shame for a restaurant which used to be really good.

14/06/2026: Everything was perfect. Reservations (required) were made on the same day. We tried the three-course menu. The price was reasonable, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. The flavor combinations were bold, and the presentation was impeccable. The service was young and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

03/07/2026: This food review only applies to the pasta dish with truffle and beef. It was overall ok, but lacked flavor and the portion size was not exactly filling. It came with some delicious little breads, which were really good, so if it's the same dough they use for the pizzas, that's probably the kind I should order next time. Ok place to sit, but not a lot of table space with good, friendly service.

26/05/2026: Good service with classic food like from a hot dog stand. I tried a burger and a meatball sandwich, they are nice to put more dressing if you ask and the service is fast. The food tastes like from a standard hot dog stand or some special but quite charming place nonetheless.
