13/06/2025: Fantastic summer experience. Beautiful surroundings and a really high level of service. A wonderful taste experience.

05/06/2025: We had read that it was a 5 course menu - BE WARNED that when they say 5 courses, they count the starter (salad), second platter (2pcs asparagus) and the main as 3 COURSES (mackerel, potatoes and green leaves). I’ve never heard of a restaurant that counts a plate of potatoes as a full course, let alone a sharing salad. We felt deceived and high-key scammed especially since we are paying 500kr per person for a 5 course meal, EXPECTING 5 courses, not 3. Secondly, the menu stated “whole grilled mackerel” but we were surprised when they served ONLY 2 small whole mackerels to share between 4 PEOPLE. Food was good but honestly we felt we got scammed. You can get better value for money elsewhere. 😞💔

26/02/2026: Went there for the alterlatino night, the music and vibes were great! Only downside the bartenders don't know how to make Aperol spritz - yet they advertise it as offer.

11/10/2025: Kōsem Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful dining experience! Delicious Mediterranean and Turkish dishes with rich flavors and perfect presentation. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic taste and warm hospitality in Copenhagen! 🍽️

31/12/2025: This review is done mainly to highlight the very rude behaviour we experienced from one of the female managers on the afternoon of the 31st of Dec around 4.30pm. We had finished our ramens and ordered two deserts. After a while the waitress came with a third desert and it transpired it had been a mixup. One of the now half eaten deserts was added by the waitress by mistake, she was very lovely apologises and promised a refund. Shortly thereafter the manager came, clearly irritated, telling us that we get a refund but then she’s going to take the remains of the desert way. She basically snatched out of my hand when I gave it back to back, slammed it down on the tray and disappeared, she processed our refund for a coconut ice cream around 4.30pm. We were quite stunned having been treated like garbage by a member of the management team, this totally soured our otherwise nice experience.

26/12/2025: The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was very busy, and the staff couldn't keep up with everyone, so we had to wait a long time. The staff brought the food, but we had to wait and ask for cutlery!

14/06/2026: Completely satisfied with the experience. Pizza and gelato: it felt like being in Italy. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean place.

20/08/2025: Got cinnamon rolls and raspberry slices from here. The cinnamon rolls tasted quite nice and had a good consistency. However, they were a bit small. The raspberry slices were on a dark bread that tasted too much of bread and too little of cake, and then with sugar underneath… The diametrical relationship between the two things was a bit nauseating. The icing and raspberries were okay. On top was the multi-colored sprinkles that used to characterize raspberry slices from gas stations; not a tasteful choice. The price was average.

16/10/2025: Fantastic experience at Restaurant Aristo. We had a thoroughly wonderful evening at Aristo. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by smiling and welcoming waiters who really knew how to make us feel welcome. The service was top notch – attentive, professional and with a genuine interest in our having a good experience. The food was nothing short of excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour – you could clearly feel the love for the good craftsmanship and the fresh ingredients. We had both fish and meat, and everything was cooked to perfection. The waterfront atmosphere and the relaxed, elegant atmosphere make Aristo a place you want to come back to again and again. A huge thank you to the entire team – both the kitchen and the waiters – for an experience in a class of its own. We are already looking forward to our next visit

30/08/2025: We had the best dinner of our entire 14-day vacation in Denmark at this litte restaurant! The Cod was amazing and very well prepared! The dessert had us dreaming of more. The view and the service were great. 5 stars well deserved!

07/05/2026: Good for take out. But dine in (ordered through a QR code at table…) ended up at another location in town. So double wait. “Don’t serve tap water” food served in to go trays… I hate being a Karen but I’d feel sorry for those spending a date here. It feels almost intentional so maybe just a win win for everyone not to dine in here 🤷🏻‍♀️

06/05/2025: It is a wonderful local bakery that has belonged to the same family for over three generations! We got cakes from this bakery and they were delicious and fresh! The lady who served us is the daughter of the owners, and she was very sweet and helpful in describing the cakes to us in English. I recommend this local bakery 👍

14/05/2026: Bought 1.5 kg of halawat el jebn in the new section. We found a hair in it while we had guests. It is simply not okay and very unhygienic. Very disappointing experience.

08/07/2026: Safari was actually one of the more non-memorable food experiences I've had in Copenhagen for quite some time. The menu itself is great. There are a lot of interesting dishes, and we actually started with cocktails. Both mine and my partner's were absolutely delicious. Really one of the highlights of the evening. After that we had some snacks. We ordered the bread and some olives. I'm not really going to judge the olives because they're obviously sourced rather than made in-house, but they were great. The bread, however, was incredible. I would expect them to bake it themselves, and honestly it was one of the best parts of the entire dinner. Super airy, great crust, sesame on the outside, just absolutely delicious. Then we had the tartare, served on a bed of Trapanese. That was also really good. Tartare is almost always good, but some places do manage to mess it up. This definitely wasn't one of them. We also had the crudo with tomato vinaigrette. Again, very nice ingredients, but it just didn't do much for me. It felt a bit underwhelming and lacked complexity. The tomato vinaigrette wasn't really powerful enough to tie everything together. After that came the polenta with confit chicken and peas. Really delicious. The polenta was great and the chicken was cooked perfectly. But it almost felt like a really good home-cooked meal. That's obviously not a bad thing, but when I'm eating at a restaurant like this, I'm hoping to be a bit more impressed. Then we had the agnolotti with veal, pork, and chicken bouillon. This was probably my favorite dish of the evening. The clear broth was absolutely delicious, and the agnolotti itself was excellent. Really, really good. But again, one dish wasn't enough to carry the whole dinner. The reason I'm probably a bit disappointed is because I've been to their sister restaurant, Omar, which is honestly one of the best food experiences I've had in Copenhagen. I came here expecting something on that level, and it just wasn't. That's not to say Safari is bad. It's definitely not. But for me it never really became exciting. There weren't many dishes that I would think about afterwards or specifically come back for.

06/07/2026: The food was delicious; a nice combination of interesting textures and delicious flavors. The waitress did a great job; she was attentive, friendly, and hospitable. Go there!
