14/10/2025: Was super packed because the cocktails are so cheap but the crowds move around fairly quickly so my friend and I didn’t wait too long to get a seat. Love the concept and the cocktails were surprisingly really good for being on tap!! I will definitely be back

23/07/2025: The ambiance is very pleasant with soft inviting lighting and music. The dishes had wonderful flavor, especially the tartar, spätzle, and the cannelloni. It was delicious. I will say that even the "larger" dishes recommended for a main, at 245/265 kr each, were way too small, it felt disappointing in size, and was the same size as the "appetizers." The fish looked like a tiny business card size serving, very small. The strawberry tarte tatin to finish the meal was excellent, and much larger than said fish en croute. 🤷🏼‍♀️

22/07/2025: I came to Frank with high expectations, but it didn’t quite deliver. Some dishes were genuinely good, especially the pork and the Gillardeau oyster. However, others missed the mark. The fried oyster was boring, and the side salad was far too salty. The restaurant promotes itself as Asian fusion inspired, but as someone Asian, I didn’t find anything particularly new or exciting. Many reviews mention bold and unique flavors, but I have to disagree. Overall, a 3-star experience for me. On top of that, the service felt cold. The staff member who looked after our table wasn’t friendly and made us feel a bit left out, which added to the overall disappointment. A 3-star experience for me.

14/12/2025: Copenhagen's best roast pork, but also Denmark's best Wiener schnitzel, and the main course of the month is always legendary. It's a party to visit Frank's Kro, where alcohol, music and hospitality are not spared. There is so much love in the air and the waiters are razor sharp and service-minded. The best restaurant if you want to taste real Danish food, and get a firsthand lesson in the Danish party mindset and our famously relaxed approach to alcohol.

04/12/2025: We enjoyed the full menu on a Wednesday evening, and it was high quality throughout, and much more interesting than at many of the chains that also run share food as a concept. The hospitality was good, and an effort was made to provide a good experience with wine to match. If there had been a little more people, the atmosphere would have been great too - but that's a matter of taste.

06/10/2025: First time at Brønshøj Bistro. Super delicious food, atmosphere, service and quality... - but unfortunately I was reminded of the same strange mistake that Vanløse Bistro also had the last time I was there: Why should I sit and drink wine from a half-decent water mug? Beer is also served in the same mugs, which is also a bit of a "cheat". Wine in a wine glass, beer in a beer glass. It's a mockery of the wine to just serve it that way and it ruins the experience. Practice

07/01/2026: Highly recommended! The food is spectacular; it makes you feel like you're eating in Rome. Excellent service. The plaza is a lovely place to eat.

05/01/2026: How delicious! We happened upon Il Mattarello for lunch, and were greeted by Irene's smile and Lolli's cheerfulness. We soon had a delicious pumpkin soup with sage and homemade spaghetti with tomato sauce. Everything was excellent, and the presentation was truly a treat. We were tempted by the tiramisu... as true Italians, we love our desserts, and we were so happy! Finally, the coffee... How could you not drink a real Italian espresso after days of bizarre Danish coffees?! Irene and Lolli are two truly lovely people, they know their preparations and are super nice to their customers. We'll definitely be back!

02/11/2025: The perfect dinner during a family weekend in Copenhagen! The dishes are original and delicious, the setting very pleasant. Special mention for the staff, who were very friendly!

25/10/2025: We visited on the birthday night of our weekend trip of Copenhagen, and much like the city it sits in - El Goldie was simply delightful. Cocktails were fantastic, guacamole and salsa wetting the appetite before some truly awesome tacos. Beef and Shrimp were our choice, coupled with some spicy margaritas. The staff were friendly, attentive and forthcoming with suggestions. The candle in the corn cake for my birthday was a cute touch, followed by a house shot with the owner. Credit to her for what she has done with the place.

23/12/2025: Trying the traditional Danish fleskesteg here was a really nice experience! We sat outside and enjoyed the popular view of Copenhagen. The staff were friendly too. A bit pricey, but definitely worth trying!

06/12/2025: Great cake with a Japanese touch, really delicious! I enjoyed it a lot, love it Mangobar Petit, Citron Petite, and Andersen Signature. Stopping by here during a Copenhagen visit is truly worth it.
