27/06/2026: ordered beef kare kare, tambayan express & palabok + turon, halo halo & tortang tempura. good sized portion, left pretty satisfied :) i just wish there was an aircon / more ventilation because it was really hot outside. the red ice tea was soooo yummy!!! so refreshing.

21/06/2026: This is one of my favourite restaurants in the city, I have been here a few times and it is delicious. Beyond 1 pretentious danish staff member who always tells us its fully booked when the restaurant is empty (even after we leave) and goes back behind the computer and hacks the system and tells us okay i found you a table. That part kills it for me, beyond that, the rest of the staff and owners are absolutely wonderful people. Make sure to try their fried chicken as its some of the best in the city and definitely top 10 in Amager

22/09/2026: Beautiful location. Great selection of different, very creative dishes. There are various options, from set menus to à la carte. Everything we ate was delicious.

10/09/2026: Fantastic bread and butter. Hiramasa was nice. Zander dish is excellent, so flavourful and well balanced. Crab and romaine was really unique but really good. The calamari was nice, I loved the miso broth and the balance of sweetness but it was a little oversalted for me. Service was good.

12/09/2026: I had a really good experience at Kin Arai Thai Corner. When I took my first bite of my massaman curry, I was completely taken back to when I was backpacking around Thailand. The food is very authentic, and the same can be said about the interior of the restaurant, which is also inspired by the Thai streets and alleys. There is a cozy atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and constantly made sure that everything was as it should be. I will definitely come back again, and I would recommend ordering the shared appetizer, which is served on a very beautiful stand🪷

08/09/2026: RECOMMEND. PLEASE EAT HERE. It was my second time at this place, and the food was again amazing. To me it is clear that they offer high quality food, because of how many ingredients they throw into the dishes to enrich the flavor. I feel like thai food can become already tasty with half the types of the ingredients, but they go full out so that the dishes are beautifully presented, seasoned, with also a variety of textures. The best way to put it is probably, each plate is going to play an orchestra piece for your tastebuds.

25/09/2026: Had a fantastic evening yesterday. The place is just so full of good atmosphere, sweet and attentive waiters - and not least incredibly delicious food. You can clearly taste that there is a big food heart beating in that kitchen. I can't remember having had better meatballs, pork and pancakes. 11/07/2026: Tokyo Restaurant deserves the highest possible rating. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. My girlfriend and I had a Tokyo Special Menu and a Sukiyaki Menu. What I especially appreciated was the authenticity of the dishes. The restaurant stays true to Japanese flavours and traditions rather than significantly adapting the food to local Scandinavian tastes. This makes the experience feel much more genuine and distinctive. Everything we tried was delicious, carefully prepared, and full of flavour. Combined with the excellent service and inviting atmosphere, it made for a truly memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Tokyo Restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Japanese food.

22/09/2026: This is one of Denmark's leading restaurants, having been awarded three Michelin stars in 2026. The dishes, which focus on regional Danish ingredients, have a variety of flavors layered together, resulting in an overall gentle taste. The service is also top-notch (there were even staff members who spoke Japanese), and the restaurant has a casual, Scandinavian atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to spend time.

17/09/2026: This is a very cozy restaurant with a lot of artwork on the walls. It has its roots on the Danish island of Bornholm, and the cuisine is built entirely around that island's ingredients and terroir. When you walk in, you get to say hi to the chefs, and a nice touch was that each chef took turns presenting the dishes we were about to have, which made it very personable. I was eating alone, so they placed me at the communal table, which was nice, because I got to talk with five other complete strangers, and it made the meal more pleasurable. I had the wine pairing, which was very nice, with high quality wines from many different areas, including a Portuguese wine served in the style of a Burgundy. Some of the standout dishes come from their farm in the north, where most of the ingredients are grown. One was a beautiful harvest-style plate with three pieces of different fish and a very concentrated broth. Another was the smoked salmon, which is brined for four days, then cold smoked, and finally warm smoked just before serving. It really stood out for how moist it was, and how it melted in your mouth with all the oils of the salmon preserved. The last standout was a tart with anchovies, which was beautiful. The only downside is that the service is quite long. It took about six hours to complete the meal, and it felt a little drawn out at times, with long intermissions. The pace went very well in the beginning, up until the palate cleanser, and then it slowed down as the night got later.

15/01/2026: Excellent atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and superb pasta. I highly recommend the Tartufo! Portions are perfectly sized, and absolutely delicious. It’s nice to sit at communal tables and enjoy the laid back aesthetic. Will surely be visiting again!

01/10/2026: Very cool. Something for every taste and a bit extra to expand the pallet. Recommend bringing home a can or two of Bloody Mary or pickle beer.

21/09/2026: It was a tiny shop, with a friendly atmosphere and very polite staff. The hot dog was delicious. I also really liked the Flaeskestegs sandwich. I would love to come again. It's a great place to grab a quick bite and leave.
