04/10/2025: Reservations are required. If you're craving Danish food, I highly recommend this place. The oven-roasted pork was delicious, but the chicken and asparagus-based dish is truly delicious. If you come for lunch, there's a special menu where you can try all the classic Danish dishes of Copenhagen at a great price. You'll be very full.

04/10/2025: If you're looking to try 100% Danish food, this is your place. You know it's authentic when it's packed with Danes. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The waitress and waiter were very friendly, explaining and recommending the restaurant's most iconic dishes. However, the place fills up quickly and always has reservations, so I recommend making a reservation.

25/10/2025: We visited on the birthday night of our weekend trip of Copenhagen, and much like the city it sits in - El Goldie was simply delightful. Cocktails were fantastic, guacamole and salsa wetting the appetite before some truly awesome tacos. Beef and Shrimp were our choice, coupled with some spicy margaritas. The staff were friendly, attentive and forthcoming with suggestions. The candle in the corn cake for my birthday was a cute touch, followed by a house shot with the owner. Credit to her for what she has done with the place.

18/10/2025: After a beautiful beginning to our day at Home of Carlsberg - with an exhibition and a guided walk around the place, I had arranged for my parents and my girlfriend and I to enjoy some lovely italian food at the Tramonto (Sunset) Rooftop restaurant. And we were not dissapointed! Absolutely lovely service and a beautiful view 😊 I would even recommend - if one needs a run to the restrooms - to stop by the big Windows by the front of the bar to really see the skyline and the Chimney of Carl Jacobsens Ny Carlsberg. The vibe was really nice, and we loved the open kitchen which allowed us to follow the process of the food being cooked. Also, our waiter was an absolute treat, and made my girlfriend (who was raise in Rome) feel like she was almost home again. The food was lovely - but overpriced. This is the only downside. Although pricey, the flavours were well-balanced and the the pasta perfectly al dente. The cheese board had a lovely variety, with some very good flavours as well, that was complimented by the condiments.

15/10/2025: Very good restaurant with good service. The food is of very good quality, and the drinks selection is extensive and very appealing. Reasonable value for money for Denmark. We were satisfied and would gladly return. The outdoor area is wonderful in summer. A la proxima 😉 The "one star" was a mistake, has been corrected ✔️

06/10/2025: First time at Brønshøj Bistro. Super delicious food, atmosphere, service and quality... - but unfortunately I was reminded of the same strange mistake that Vanløse Bistro also had the last time I was there: Why should I sit and drink wine from a half-decent water mug? Beer is also served in the same mugs, which is also a bit of a "cheat". Wine in a wine glass, beer in a beer glass. It's a mockery of the wine to just serve it that way and it ruins the experience. Practice

04/09/2025: As German tourists, staying in Brønshøj by accident, we were lucky to have this great place in the neighbourhood. We chose to have the full menu for our last dinner in Copenhagen. The food was just GREAT - every course that was served was so yummy, well prepared and we just loved it. We would definetely recommend this place!!!!! The service was more than friendly and yes, it‘s not a cheap restaurant - but worth every DKK we payed. If we ever come back, we‘d also come back to this wonderful bistro! Danke für diesen schönen Abend!

20/10/2025: Vacation in Copenhagen. We were looking for a nice Italian place to eat good pasta. We went to "Mattarello," located inside Torvehallerne Market. We ordered a carbonara, an amatriciana, and a pasta dish with tomato and stracciatella, and immediately recognized the Italian touch in the kitchen. As Italians, we can say we found a pleasant surprise in the heart of Copenhagen. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is very warm and friendly. Highly recommended!

20/10/2025: We went for the Candlelight concert and it was an amazing venue!

19/10/2025: The musicians exceeded all expectations – gifted talents who took everyone by storm and made time fly by. They undoubtedly deserve 10 out of 5 stars. The Odd Fellow Palæet is a fantastic setting for an event like this. However, I wish a little more was done with the sound. To create an all-encompassing total experience, where the music gets under your skin, the sound must be present all the way around. Unfortunately, the sound only came from the front, and in the quiet passages you could hear the sound of the exhaust behind us more clearly than the instruments in front. (We sat in the B section, in the middle of the hall.) A surround sound system would have elevated the experience significantly. The concept of candlelight creates an intimate and atmospheric atmosphere. However, if you are not sitting in the front row, you miss out on a large part of the visual experience – half of the lights were “cut off” from our perspective, and it was mostly the back wall that you could see. A total experience where all senses are involved can therefore be optimized. That said, the musicians were so exceptional that we would come back again without hesitation.

08/07/2025: Este restaurante es muy acogedor y el lugar perfecto para tener una conversación con un amigo. A pesar de que sigo una dieta sin gluten, pude disfrutar de una sabrosa cerveza sin gluten. Este restaurante me recuerda a los pubs británicos, donde los clientes conversan y no miran televisores de pantalla grande que muestran deportes o noticias.
