04/12/2025: I visited Selfish in Copenhagen for the first time, and it was also my first experience with traditional sushi made by “real Japanese people – at least according to them”. Regardless, I have to say that the experience was really good. The service was friendly and attentive, the food came quickly, and the quality was high. The place is also very cozy and relaxed, which made the visit even better. All in all, a really good experience – I would definitely come back.

01/12/2025: The best sushi place in Copenhagen with fresh fish in nice, thick pieces. Really good seaweed salad without artificial color! There is the option of quick takeaway menus, or dining in the small restaurant, where you can try the different specialties of the day.

19/10/2025: Great place for breakfast. Much better value and quality than most other places in the city centre. It seems mostly frequented by locals, which in itself is a good sign.

10/09/2025: Everything was perfect. Bread, pickles (beetroot and gherkin), bacon. I ordered the crispy pork open sandwich. I even thought it was better than the grilled pork knuckle I had in Hamburg, Germany. 😂

31/10/2025: Love it! Great food, friendly service that also accommodates special requests, everything ready within 10 minutes - I've never had such a good pizza!

23/07/2025: The ambiance is very pleasant with soft inviting lighting and music. The dishes had wonderful flavor, especially the tartar, spätzle, and the cannelloni. It was delicious. I will say that even the "larger" dishes recommended for a main, at 245/265 kr each, were way too small, it felt disappointing in size, and was the same size as the "appetizers." The fish looked like a tiny business card size serving, very small. The strawberry tarte tatin to finish the meal was excellent, and much larger than said fish en croute. 🤷🏼‍♀️

22/07/2025: I came to Frank with high expectations, but it didn’t quite deliver. Some dishes were genuinely good, especially the pork and the Gillardeau oyster. However, others missed the mark. The fried oyster was boring, and the side salad was far too salty. The restaurant promotes itself as Asian fusion inspired, but as someone Asian, I didn’t find anything particularly new or exciting. Many reviews mention bold and unique flavors, but I have to disagree. Overall, a 3-star experience for me. On top of that, the service felt cold. The staff member who looked after our table wasn’t friendly and made us feel a bit left out, which added to the overall disappointment. A 3-star experience for me.

23/11/2025: Ok food, a bit messy service (that might be language barrier between scandi countries). Good wine. Unfortunately smells of mold when entering the venue and the lefthand side of the restaurant. Better close to the bar.

16/10/2025: Gaia team takes cocktail making to the new experimentation levels. All cocktails tend to have a presentation twist - either they arrive in a glass pipe or in a collectible race car model (!) or are presented out of a chinese noodle box - you'll have the wow and aha! moment. And of course, it all tastes great. You have a lot of options for cocktails in the city, but Gaia might just be the most creative spot. Definite recommendation.

23/08/2025: Le Pave es excelente. Hemos cenado aquí a menudo a lo largo de los años. La comida siempre es excelente. Prueba los mejillones. Buen vino, también. Comer puede ser por dentro o por fuera. La cena afuera se encuentra en la histórica y pintoresca Plaza Greyfriars. No solo hemos tenido muchas cenas aquí, también es agradable parar a tomar un aperitivo por la tarde y beber para refrescarse después de un día de gira. Los propietarios de marido y mujer son increíblemente amable y hospitalario. ¡Incluso puedes saludar a Apollo, su lindo perrito!

16/08/2025: Fantastically good food and service! We had the 3-course set menu consisting of tuna carpaccio, beef fillet and for dessert pavlova. All dishes with very nice side dishes. Highly recommended!

25/10/2025: We visited on the birthday night of our weekend trip of Copenhagen, and much like the city it sits in - El Goldie was simply delightful. Cocktails were fantastic, guacamole and salsa wetting the appetite before some truly awesome tacos. Beef and Shrimp were our choice, coupled with some spicy margaritas. The staff were friendly, attentive and forthcoming with suggestions. The candle in the corn cake for my birthday was a cute touch, followed by a house shot with the owner. Credit to her for what she has done with the place.

01/12/2025: They made us sit at a table with other people, asking us to move if more people arrived. It was crowded, and they forced us to order bottled water, not tap water. A shocking rudeness.

28/11/2025: Nice bar in the centre of the city. Apparently favoured by the creative set but one thing is certain- very popular. Definitely worth a visit . Friendly service. 116 kroner (£13.70 GBP) for a large Tuborg beer and a glass of Primitivo red wine so decent prices for this city.

16/12/2025: Absolutely lovely, only 30 dkk for the whole day for a person with a hugeee selection of games to pick out from. The decor is amazing and the service was sweet and quick. 11/10/2025: We ent during dining week. Even though the restaurant was packed the service was so nice, friendly and efficient. The food was so good and on point, and the wine was excellent and not expensive. We had so much fun that we forgot to take pictures 😂. Great place!! We will come back again for sure!

10/11/2025: I have eaten at this restaurant many times and it has always been good. But today I ordered beef (number 10) and I think you have changed the meat? It was not good; it was not as good as the original tenderloin. In addition, the sweet and sour chicken (number 14) had very little sauce and the taste was off. I don't know if you have changed the meat or the chef? I hope you improve. This is supposed to be the best Thai restaurant in Denmark!

21/10/2025: A lovely restaurant in one of Copenhagen's most picturesque areas, Nyhavn. The place is very quaint and well-maintained. The dishes we tried were excellent, typically Danish. We tried the two-course menu, choosing a starter and a main course, and were very satisfied. The price is reasonable for Copenhagen standards.

13/10/2025: We ate here twice on our weekend stay to Copenhagen. Absolutely incredible food. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Atmosphere and location are great. Highly recommend!
