04/08/2026: Kanalen is a must-see gastronomic stop if you're visiting Copenhagen. After our first dinner, we were so won over that we booked again a few days later. The location is stunning, right on the Christianshavn Canal, in an elegant and charming setting. The cuisine is excellent: meat and fish dishes prepared with great skill, using top-quality local ingredients and enriched with expert influences from international cuisine. Each course is meticulously crafted, both in presentation and flavor balance. A special mention goes to the Miso Pork Ribs with BBQ Sauce, Peaches, Thai Basil, and Cilantro Cress: simply spectacular! A surprising dish, where every ingredient finds its perfect balance. The finale lived up to the rest of the dinner: Poached Rhubarb with Hibiscus Flowers, Lightly Whipped Vanilla Cream, Meringue, and Vanilla Ice Cream is a refined, fresh, and truly delicious dessert. Impeccable service, a relaxed atmosphere, an extensive wine list, and impressive cuisine. An experience we recommend without hesitation. We can't wait to return to Copenhagen... and, of course, to Kanalen!

02/08/2026: It’s a super sweet charming location overlooking to the canal, the staff were so nice, foods are great. I recommend to share food because it’s a small order like tapas kind of setting. Me and my sister were happy with the food and the service. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

12/08/2026: I recently visited Andersen Bakery in Copenhagen, and overall, I had a really enjoyable experience. The bakery had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a nice place to stop for a quick breakfast, snack, or coffee during the day. One of the things I liked most was the variety of baked goods available. Everything looked fresh and well presented, from the bread and pastries to the sweeter options. The pastry I tried had a great texture and tasted fresh, with a good balance of sweetness without being too heavy. The coffee also went really well with it and made the experience even better. The service was friendly and efficient. Even though the bakery was fairly busy, I didn’t have to wait very long, and the staff were polite and helpful. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had the cozy Scandinavian feeling that I expected from a bakery in Denmark. The prices were a little higher than what I would normally pay for a bakery, but I think the quality made it worth it. Overall, Andersen Bakery was a great place to visit, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for fresh pastries and a relaxing bakery experience in Denmark

16/08/2026: We had an absolute lovely dinner last night at Ripotot. The staff was incredible, super friendly and so attentive. The chefs presented us with a wonderful 10 course sharing menu. We loved every single dish and will be dreaming about the cheese soufflé, the catch of the day and the donut for dessert. It was such an amazing mix of flavours and different dishes and every single one was done so well. They were also incredibly accommodating to my grapefruit intolerance. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant :)

15/01/2026: Excellent atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and superb pasta. I highly recommend the Tartufo! Portions are perfectly sized, and absolutely delicious. It’s nice to sit at communal tables and enjoy the laid back aesthetic. Will surely be visiting again!

23/08/2026: Such a beautiful rooftop restaurant! The atmosphere was elegant and cozy, and the view over Copenhagen was amazing. The food was delicious and the whole experience felt really special. A perfect place for a nice dinner, especially around sunset.

26/08/2026: It’s a small Italian place with lovely staff and the best panini I’ve ever had. You can sit in a quiet backyard and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

15/08/2026: Very friendly and attentive service. A little chaotic but charming, almost like being in Italy. Very good sandwiches and excellent cannoli. The espresso wasn't hot enough for me, but it tasted fantastic.

18/08/2026: I have been to BRUS many times over the last few years and this place was 10/10 years ago, and somehow has gotten even better. The beers are an obvious highlight-- so many of the beers on draft are brewed on-site, and they are always excellent. Don't miss the 1-2 cask ales often available as well! They also have lots cocktails and beverages available for anyone not in to beer. Aside from drinks, their food menu is stellar. They have an open kitchen, and you can tell that there is a lot of passion behind their food, which I would say is like elevated pub food. There is a dining area, and other areas outside and by the bar-- it could easily be a spot for a dinner, or a place to meet up with friends for drinks and a casual bite. BRUS is always high on my recommendation list!
