27/04/2025: A small basement restaurant with low ceilings. A simple menu that surprises when the food arrives on the table. It is recommended to reserve a table. You can also sit outside when the weather permits.

29/06/2025: A lovely watering hole on the edge of the lakes. Perfect for a cold beer in the sunshine outside or cozying up indoors during the colder months. Huge selection and always friendly and accommodating staff. Cheers!

12/06/2025: I really liked this place. It had a nice laid-back vibe and felt an easy place to be. The beer was excellent, with plenty of choice. After dragging my Mrs around quite a few craft bars, some of which had limited wine options, this place was a welcome change and serves a descent glass of red too!

24/05/2025: We had a cocktail here for 25 people, and the service was top-notch, the view was amazing, and the cocktails 🍸 were very good! Highly recommended for a cocktail bar in Copenhagen! But reservations would probably be a good idea!

19/10/2024: Very positive surprised dine out on Amager. For everyone that’s not from Amager it’s an absolute hidden gem. Super cozy and friendly atmosphere. Food is fresh, local and seasonal. On top of that very tasty and nicely arranged. This time tipster guided us to Øens Spisested, but we know we will be back without a voucher. 😋

28/07/2025: We hit that point in the trip when all we wanted was something familiar to eat, and by familiar I mean rice. Google led us to Lee’s Kitchen and there were about five parties ahead of us, but we were committed, so we waited. The temperature dropped a few degrees while we stood there which only made me hungrier and slightly dramatic in my head about it. When it was finally our turn, we were told we could either order through the barcode or walk back to the counter. We are a family style crew through and through, so we went for it. I am pretty sure we scared the table next to us when dish after dish started arriving for a family of three. The server even offered to bag my custard buns because the table looked like a very delicious game of Tetris. We had duck, which came with a theatrical sauce pour and a puff of smoke that looked like a mini magic trick, mapo tofu, fried wonton, Szechuan chicken, crispy eggplant and sweet and sour chicken. It was good, solid Chinese food. Not the best I have ever had but exactly what my vacation soul needed. Sometimes comfort food wins over Michelin stars. Just my honest opinion.

26/07/2025: On Wednesday, July 23rd, around 2:30 PM, we sat down to eat something. The fact that it was a Michelin-starred restaurant was reassuring. We checked the menu outside first, and since there were vegan options, we went in. We gave our orders to the young waitress, ordering fish for our son and the two vegan options on the menu (numbers 28 and 29) for my wife and me. We specifically stated that we don't eat meat and that we don't eat pork. The potato dish had fried bacon, but my wife thought there were seven fried vegetables without realizing it. We called the waiter back and explained the situation to the older waitress. First, she said it wasn't meat, then she said it wasn't pork. She said, "I can't quite find the right word." We asked what it was. She took the plate away and said she was coming. She didn't come. The young waitress came and apologized, saying it was her fault. She said it was fried bacon, pork, and that it was her fault. We explained that this wasn't her fault, as the vegan options on the menu shouldn't contain meat or any animal products. The person at fault here is the one who prepared this dish in the kitchen. Furthermore, the woman who first arrived and said it wasn't pork was also very bad; it would have been more virtuous to admit her mistake. Why was meat, why pork, included in a dish labeled vegan? We think it was truly evil. It's unbecoming of a Michelin-starred restaurant. It's also disrespectful of worldviews and beliefs. If you're vegan or don't eat meat or pork due to your religious beliefs, we don't recommend this restaurant. It's not trustworthy. They re-prepared the potato dish, but this time there was no meat. The fish dish looked good, and our son loved it, but we left sad and disappointed.

26/07/2025: close to Frederiks Kirke, we just walk in and then have a table to seat. The food may be not delicious enough to Asian, it still worth to have a try.

13/03/2025: Ended up doing shots here with some young regulars. That was unexpected and more fun than one might expect from shooting straight ginger goodness. The smoothie i had afterwards was off the charts. I wish I knew what was in it; (I asked for a surprise). Suresh, the owner is salt of the earth. LOVE THIS PLACE
