01/11/2024: Very cute cafe, small but some outdoor seating too. Perfect for a delicious coffee break, hot chocolate and cookies 🍪

30/10/2024: Went after a walk around the area to grab a quick coffee. It was a nice looking shop and had a small queue that grew as I got my order and walked out. Service was decent.

26/10/2024: A genuinely amazing 'brown pub ' for locals and visitors. I was made to feel welcome by the barman and spent the evening playing pub games with locals and enjoying beers. Bar snacks are pork scratchings and salted peanuts. You're able to smoke and a packet of 20 cigarettes to buy, is 80Kr.

02/11/2024: Fantastic cozy place. Their beer is a little out of the ordinary and with their 12 taps we found many good beers we had to taste. We also bought a few good bottles to take home. Can be highly recommended.

20/10/2024: The wine was great, but unfortunately, the service fell short. The staff were unhelpful and seemed unfamiliar with the wines they were serving. They even tasted the wine from the bottle we had purchased, to understand the taste. Additionally, the outdoor area was filled with smokers, making it uncomfortable for non-smokers. When we asked to move away from the smoke, we were simply told, “There’s nothing we can do about it.” Disappointing experience overall.

05/11/2024: After visiting another restaurant, we decided to visit Bertels Salon for dessert. And from the outside, each cake looked incredibly delicious. But it's obviously too much, one of each when there are 15+ cakes. So we had to settle for 2 men to share 4, relatively large pieces and a couple of cups of hot cocoa. We went with lemon meringue, Ferrero Rocher, oreo and vegan chocolate cake. And we by no means ate up, not because we didn't want to, we simply couldn't squeeze any more down, so we got a doggy bag home. But hold on, those were some delicious cakes. And the young lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful, and the place reminded me a lot of a visit to La Glace, which is a very big compliment.

18/11/2024: Convenient location. 20 mins metro ride from the airport and the hotel is a short walk away from the station and central train station. Though the pathway has cobbled stones so could be challenging dragging luggages across. I booked a single room and upon getting to my first room, I realized I had to manoeuvre a flight of steps to get to the room, which I immediately u-turned back to the reception to ask for a room change. That's when I was told that all single room types are at the 'sub levels' that has stairs. I wished someone mentioned this in the reviews earlier. It was already a pain dragging a heavy luggage on carpet, this is made worse with the flight of steps in between. The room is small but they have put in smart features to maximize space. I like the open wardrobe concept and how they've incorporated the luggage rack as a folding style from the mirror/wardrobe. Shower area is a bit small, but water pressure of the rain-shower head is good. Bed and pillow are softer than I would prefer. The pillow is so soft it's almost as good as not having one. Breakfast was excellent, a good spread of pastries, bread, cold cuts, yoghurt, cereals, eggs and sausages. I love it that the staff are very prompt in refilling whatever is running low and in clearing plates.

07/11/2024: The food and cocktails were very good. The dishes are mainly Danish, but also burgers and other things. The space is incredible, with beautiful murals and a cozy atmosphere. The location is also ideal, it is very close to Amalienborg Palace and the Design Museum, and the metro is just a few steps away.

19/11/2024: Very nice big bouldering gym. The staff were nice, and there's a big variety in boulders. The climbing area is big, but can get crowded during peak hours. Overall a really nice climbing experience.
