30/12/2025: The female server with braided hair treated me with clear racial bias. She ignored my polite greeting, rushed me to order, and responded to a simple request to view the wine menu again with a rude 'WHAT? What made this unacceptable was seeing her moments later smiling warmly and engaging politely with the neighboring table. The contrast was unmistakable. This is not a matter of bad service, but unequal treatment based on skin color. In contrast, the staff member with large hoop earrings and the gentleman at the counter were genuinely kind and professional. The lady clearly needs proper training. Her behavior was two-faced and deeply unprofessional.

30/11/2025: Aesthetic was wonderful and the people were too. I can’t however give more than 3 stars to a specialty coffee place that asks “what size, small medium or large” when someone orders a flat white or cappuccino. There is no such thing. A flat white is 5-6 ounces. A cappuccino is the same.

20/09/2025: The service and the atmosphere were great! For me the music was a bit too loud, it was hard to speak and hear each other. To people sensitive to sound I recommend using earplugs. We were a big group of internationals and unfortunately we missed the big part of the show since it was in Danish (we were told that it is in English though, now we know :)). Otherwise, nice experience!

23/11/2025: The food was okay, not real Thai food really. Difficult menu, barely understood anything. Noise complaints. Took this restaurant because of. Rating. Shouldn't have its stars at all. Many misses. Pornstar martini was completely wrong for 120 Danish kroner. They did it in their "way" when we pointed out. Then they write it on the menu, right???? One of the party got metal in their food, a whole piece of metal!? She then got 50 percent off for that dish and a new plate of food, but still?? Really bad treatment and nonchalant. Took a long time with the food and that price. They forgot some party food too. One pointed out that she wasn't happy with the drink because it wasn't good at all. The waiter just took it, looked angry and left, didn't say a word?? No service at all?? Most of it was wrong actually. The guy who held the door was at least nice and smiled. The environment was good but a lot of improvements were needed from this restaurant. Even the bill was completely wrong and we got another party's bill. 22/10/2025: Placed reasonably close to the busy touristy centre, I wanted to find a decent place to eat i.e. somewhere authentic and not there to rip tourists off. Found Amalie near the palace. Lovely little place with a good menu and lovely staff -> all very engaging and happy to talk in fluent English (we did try a bit of Danish but it's a tough language). We had a couple of beers which were gorgeous and smorrebrod and a chicken salad, both fresh and very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

15/10/2025: Recommendations: -Starters： 🥟Raviole of Langoustine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fresh ingredients yet too salty. 🦞Blue lobster with marinated tomato ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing taste but the portion of tomato could be bigger. -Main Course： 🐔Poulet Au Vin Jaune ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not creative but still very tasty. 🐟Poached cod ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The garnish and the sauce are just perfect! 🫎Venison Pithivier ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best of all!! Deluxe version of beef Wellington, a must try. As an art of the table, the dish was partitioned beside the table for the guests. -Dessert 🫐Blueberry and buckwheat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not too sweet it’s my highest compliment.

12/10/2025: We visited the Marchal Bar and were quite disappointed. The service was negligent and somewhat indifferent—our mint tea arrived tasting only like hot water and ginger until corrected, we had to ask for more to get what we initially ordered, our cola didn’t come the first time, the sparkling water didn’t come the first time, and when it came it was flat. On top of that, the bar food itself lacked any real taste. Overall, we expected a much better experience.

25/10/2025: Food was hot and fresh highly recommend. Good service the man behind the cash register had a positive energy and good prices 150 kr for a menu there is nothing to complain about.

04/10/2025: I ordered a Smokeys Crazy Cheese menu at Smokeys Burger Bar on Vesterbrogade – and it was a top-notch experience! The burger was 10/10, really tasty and juicy, and their fries were just in the cupboard with the perfect amount of salt. There was also some greens, which gave a fresh touch – I don’t know exactly what it was, but it went surprisingly well. The service was also top-notch. The guy at the cashier was super friendly and added both a chili mayo and a gringo mayo for free – it’s just the little things that make a huge difference. Fast service, great atmosphere and really delicious food. Can only recommend Smokeys – here you get both quality, taste and service at a high level 👌🍔🍟

15/03/2026: DO NOT COME HERE. They acted like they couldn’t speak English when we arrived and rolled their eyes when we asked for a table. We didn’t think much of it until we realized they served every table (in English) THAT ARRIVED AFTER US. They didn’t take our order until we asked after 15 minutes and only the female staff member was friendly. We even noticed that they gave every table complimentary bread and they didn’t give it to us until we asked (which they charged us for afterwards). If you don’t want our business, then don’t seat us. Owner/manager (whoever the older employee was) gave us many micro aggressions and specifically did not want his servers to help us. I’ve never been to an establishment where someone was so rude and had to treat others with so much hate. The most uncomfortable and unwelcome restaurant I have ever been to. Food is also extremely salty. Don’t spend your money here. Many other Italian restaurants that have better food and service. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

26/05/2025: Stopped by this lovely little bakery and honestly, I’m already planning my next visit. The coffee was absolutely amazing—I had an oat flat white and it was smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right temperature. Easily one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. I also treated myself to a slice of cheesecake, and wow… it was incredible. Creamy, rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. Every bite left me wanting more. If I didn’t have to leave, I’d probably still be sitting there with a second slice and another flat white! The vibe in the bakery was warm and welcoming—definitely the kind of place you could spend a slow morning or afternoon. Highly recommend to any coffee and dessert lover.

24/05/2025: Went to 2 stores multiple times while we were on a short break in Copenhagen. Can thoroughly recommend the coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The stores can get busy a peak times but the efficient and polite staff know how to cope.

03/02/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ – Shameful pettiness from. (Bagel store, Valby. Fuglehaven) I bought two salads and then asked for a microscopic portion for a 1-year-old child. Nothing was said that it would cost full price. Only when paying did I realize that they wanted to charge full price for something that can barely be called a meal. When I questioned it, the employee became uncomfortable and called the owner. She explained very clearly that it was a mini portion, and even asked if she shouldn't just charge 20–30 kr for it. The owner chose to say no anyway and demand full payment. This is not a misunderstanding – it is a conscious choice by management. When an owner who sits at a distance still chooses to push through the maximum price for food for a 1-year-old child, it shows exactly the level at which the place is run. It's not about money. It's about lack of morals, lack of flexibility and extremely bad style. Wanting to make an extra 50 kr on a child's small portion – and at the same time putting the employee in an embarrassing situation – is downright low. 11/08/2025: En virkelig fremragende oplevelse. Sandsynligvis det bedste thaimad i København og en standard langt højere end man er vant til i DK. Vi var der en søndag aften hvor der var fulde huse - herunder med rigtig mange lokale thai'er, hvilket altid er et godt tegn. Virkelig sød og imødekommen betjening, selvom de havde sindssygt travlt. Virkelig fornuftige priser. Et tip: Bladrer man helt om bag i menuen - efter drikkevarer mv - finder man den "hemmelige" thai-menu med alle de retter som er for avancerede/mærkelige til den klassiske frikadelle-dansker. Dér er mange fantastiske oplevelser og vil man have retterne thai-spiced, beder man bare om det.

27/07/2025: Parecía prometedor desde el principio , bonitas instalaciones y el personal era agradable y amable. Pedí pollo satay para empezar, que era promedio y tuve la sensación IT salió de un paquete congelado. La salsa satay era simple y no muy satay como en absoluto. Como principal tuve un curry Penang con pollo. La salsa estaba muy buena, pero he tenido mejor. Mi marido pidió un curry rojo y IT era muy similar a mi Penang. Bonito ambiente y parecía ser popular entre la comunidad asiática, pero desafortunadamente bastante promedio en mi opinión. También parecen tener un menú separado de comida y bebidas para los no asiáticos, que parecía un poco raro.
