16/11/2025: King Hans Cellar is one of Copenhagen’s earliest Michelin-starred restaurants. The number and variety of amuse-bouches and petits fours immediately show how much care goes into the experience. The final dessert trolley — with 11 different items — is genuinely impressive, though almost overwhelming. Located in the city center, the restaurant is easy to reach. The only drawback is the weak phone signal, likely due to the building’s age. Amuse Bouche ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wasabi-driven sweet heat with a faint hint of oyster. Hors d’Oeuvre ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crisp, dairy-rich bite where the salmon is subtle. Shrimp cocktail: crunchy, rich and savoury. Caviar taco: crisp with a clean herbal aroma. Foie gras: sweet, smooth, and layered. Soft-boiled quail egg: bursts instantly, pairing caviar salinity with the richness of yolk. Truffle mille-feuille: flaky with intense black truffle aroma and oiliness. Fried croquette: warm, savoury, with a touch of heat. Scallop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The creaminess of the mousse, the salinity of caviar, and the sweetness of scallop merge into a rich sweet–savory–creamy bite. Dover Sole ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A firmer cut of fish with a sauce that leans more salty and acidic. Surf & Turf ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sweet–sour seasoning; lobster is fresh and sweet. The wonton-style component adds a playful twist. Stuffed Morels ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A very layered dish: creamy sauce, sweet onions, fresh asparagus, and the crisp umami of morels coming together beautifully. Champagne Granita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sweet–tart with clear yuzu notes showing citrus aroma, acidity, and mild bitterness. Belle de Boskoop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A dessert built entirely around apples—intense, varied, and surprisingly not monotonous. Kong Hans Dessert Trolley ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coconut sorbet with caviar — unexpectedly excellent pairing. Panna cotta — rich with strong mango flavour. Crêpe — theatrical and citrus-forward. 09/11/2025: It may “only” have two stars, but it is still the best restaurant in Copenhagen in my opinion. We had fantastic food, great service and the wine was top notch throughout. Truly a fantastic experience all the way through.

12/12/2025: Burnley 1- nill up at Palace! 😱 Its only about the size of my conservatory but MILES better than Sun Do. I dont know why people waste their money on it .My Andy had Duck and these little spring roll things. Noodles were DEAD quick! You can't beat COLD stirfry

11/10/2025: I had a very unpleasant personal experience at Restaurant Pirlo. I was there for dinner the other night and accidentally left my AirPods behind (I could see their location on my phone). The next day, I went back and asked the kitchen staff if they could help me look for them. They let me search, but I couldn’t find them anywhere. After I asked several times, they finally called the manager, who told me that no AirPods had been found the previous night. The location kept pointing to the bar area, so I asked the staff to help me check there. They refused and just said they’d contact me if they found them - even though I was literally showing them the live location. Then one of the chefs, Alex (I found his name on Instagram), came up to me aggressively. He stood very close, started swearing at me, and told me to leave. When I didn’t react immediately, he shoved me. I left the restaurant, and they shut the doors and windows, ignoring me completely when I knocked. Honestly, I don’t even know how to describe this situation. As a woman, I felt assaulted and deeply threatened, alone in a room with two men, being disrespected and pushed. And this wasn’t on the street, it was in a restaurant where I had simply come to retrieve my property. I even have proof that my AirPods are there. I’ve filed a police report and am following all the necessary steps, though it’s a slow and frustrating process, as we all know how little attention such cases often get. I don’t think anyone is perfect, I know people go through difficult things in life. But as a restaurant representative, basic human respect should still apply. As for the food it was nothing special. Not good, not bad. During dinner, the waiter made my friend feel uncomfortable when she asked about the wine - he corrected her (incorrectly), then later apologized when he realized his mistake. They also overcharged us on the bill, adding three glasses of wine instead of two, so double-check your bills there.

17/05/2025: Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The atmosphere is carried through the entire hotel in a nice way. It feels luxurious but also very homely. Well done. Breakfast is also delicious. Super nice that our dog was also welcome! The only thing I found a pity is that the use of the sauna on the rooftop costs 30 euros. I did not think this completely fits in with the rest of the guest experience.

16/05/2025: Really bad experience. Tiny rooms, small bathroom, the shower closes with a curtain which means that the bathroom floods every time. The sauna has an additional cost. The room cleaning service is poor and often is done very late so you have to be out all day to let them work. The icing on the cake, coffee and cappuccino are paid even if the reservation includes breakfast and the costs are out of proportion. Absolutely to be avoided

24/10/2025: A good restaurant specializing in Danish cuisine. Simple, fresh, and effective dishes. A very warm welcome awaits you in a restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Don't miss the entrance, which leads down to the mezzanine.

24/08/2025: We walked up to the bar and calmly waited to be served but both bartenders blatantly ignored us for 5 minutes while the pub was fairly empty. After 5 minute wait I asked one of the bartenders whether they show premier league games to which he responded “I can’t hear you, I am busy working”. Worst place and service in Copenhagen, joke of an establishment. P.S. just read owners replies to customers reviews and it will say all you need to know - the owner and establishment has no class whatsoever. Bartender lied that I was rude when literally the only thing I said is “hey mate, do you show premier league here?” & “have a good day” after his rude response. The other bartender was literally talking to friends instead of serving customers. Can’t believe this is the reply that owner left. Shame.

15/11/2025: We had a short evening at Ælsk, it was a really good experience. The atmosphere of the place, the staff's fantastic treatment of us and the food were top notch. It's SO cozy that we will definitely come back for a long evening 😊

25/10/2025: First time and was for pre dinner drink with friend. Lovely atmosphere due to very friendly and hospitable owner - funky cocktails and shots ( first shot free for first timers). Could have stayed much loner but dinner called….definitely worth a visit.

22/09/2025: Read the good reviews about Yankii Sushi and so we chose to go all the way to Copenhagen that Monday evening to celebrate a birthday and enjoy good sushi. It was good that we did. Lovely sushi and a good menu. Not too many dishes and not too little. Good music in the background and 2 nice waiters. Quiet and peaceful on a Monday in September. But there were 5 of us, 3 of whom were teenagers and we had a nice and fun time. And everyone was full and happy when we left. Highly recommended as a small cozy place with good sushi.

22/09/2025: Really good sushi! The waiters were super nice and not too pushy. We were the last ones left in the restaurant, but in no way (!) did we get the feeling that they wanted us out so they could close the door, which you can sometimes experience in restaurants. The interior wasn't exactly to our taste, but there was nothing wrong with the vibe, it could just be more cozy hehe. Cozy place to sit as a couple and talk for a whole evening. Thanks for the lovely food :)
