02/07/2026: stumbled across this place because i was too tired to drag my luggage from Central station to my intended destination for lunch, so i deviated here without even looking at the reviews. the staffs were super friendly and welcoming and i thought why not? ordered the Pork Tenderloin and goodness it was really delicious. the onions, the jam compote blended so well together and the pork was so tender - effortless cutting. it was super cosy to just sit outside and enjoy the breeze while sipping a glass of local lager. highly recommend and i will come back again when i am in town.

13/06/2026: Another fantastic lunch at Café Gammeltorv. You are always greeted by the sweet owners with smiles, warmth and a feeling of being welcome – and there is always a table ready. The kitchen is constantly creating little masterpieces on the plates, where both presentation and taste merge into a higher unity. The food is not only beautiful to look at, it also tastes absolutely fantastic. It is clear that love and care are put into every single dish. We will definitely be back – in a month at the latest.

26/07/2026: A very delicious fish restaurant with outstanding quality. We had the fish tower with a large selection of raw fish – everything was incredibly fresh and tasted excellent. It was accompanied by a perfectly paired wine that complemented the meal beautifully. The value for money was also excellent. We were completely satisfied and will gladly return.

06/08/2026: I was there today with some friends, it was a bit hot inside and windy outside, but the food was exceptionally good. Nice staff and good prices. Will definitely be back.

28/07/2026: Initially, the server was extremely friendly and informed us during our order that there would be a slight delay. We agreed to the 30-minute wait, and it was worth it, as the burgers and fries were perfect and incredibly delicious. Fusion closes at 9 pm, and unfortunately, a second server started noisily stacking chairs around us at 8:30 pm, bumping into me in the process. In our opinion, this is unacceptable when there are still guests sitting outside. We felt like we were disturbing them, hence the less than 5-star rating.

11/10/2025: Was told I had to order through their app to get the 25% discount they boast about on the website. Without any notice, my order was cancelled because they didn't have a beer in the order. I noticed this and contacted them, but was told by a non-service-minded bandana-dude that I could choose to wait +40 min. and place a new order through the app or order at the checkout without the discount but with faster processing time. The burger was ok but greasy and too sweet

10/10/2025: Genuinely the best chai latte I have ever had - which made sense because the barista made it very very meticulously! The homemade bread roll was fresh and soft inside. The atmosphere was lovely and the fact that you are in the publishing house’s offices/hq is super cool!

30/09/2025: Lovely cafe in a great neighborhood!! The buns are great and so is the coffee. Just sitting in the corner and reading is so peaceful. Highly recommend if you have the chance to stop by!

07/06/2026: Had my second visit here… the first time was a very positive experience, but the second time was a bit disappointing and that's why I'm landing in the middle with my stars. Overall, we've tried 4 drinks, all of which were good. Our second visit was marked by an insanely long wait. We had been told we'd have to wait 15-20 minutes. However, we didn't get our drinks until 30-40 minutes later. As an apology for the wait, we were given a taste of their own limoncello. That was fine, but the wait was surprising: there weren't many people and we had a hard time seeing what the delay was due to. Anyways: good drinks.

04/06/2026: My wife and I only went in to use the toilet 😬 but sat down and decided to have a drink at around 10pm last Friday nite. She decided to try a gin and I had a beer and they must put something in them coz next thing we knew we were getting kicked out at closing time 2am 🤣🤣. Thanks to the three young Danes at the next table for the great company and craic. David, Michael & Mes(apologies if I’ve spelt this wrong) shared their tips on gin and added to the two gents behind the bar talking my wife thru the menu it was a good night(big up to Scott from Australia who took it all in good humour). It’s not a cheap venue but we had a good nite. My head was the evidence as we staggered back to the hotel around 5am 🤪

16/08/2026: The burger was very good, but a bit small for the price. Service was a bit spartan. Val was at the counter to order. They brought your burger, but you had to make your own drinks, even opening your own bottle, and there were no glasses. The location was nice, and you could tell the quality was good.

10/08/2026: Absolutely delicious! The meat is incredibly juicy 👍🏼 They also offer a vegan burger and a gluten-free option (though not suitable for people with celiac disease). The waitress was extremely friendly and patient with any questions.

23/08/2026: A restaurant with a unique atmosphere serving delicious food. I was lucky to find a table on a Sunday evening. The staff is smiling and professional, and the dishes arrive incredibly quickly. The excellent demi-glace sauce that accompanied my chopped pork chop is also worth mentioning. A huge selection of beers. I highly recommend it!

20/08/2026: We had a fantastic meal. We ordered frikadeller (Danish meatballs), smørstegt rødspættefilet (butter-fried fish), and flæskesteg (Danish roast pork), and all three were delicious. The meatballs, in particular, were spectacular. But we especially want to highlight Sergio, who was an absolute gem. Super friendly, approachable, attentive, and with excellent recommendations. He speaks Spanish and made us feel very comfortable throughout the meal; he brings a special touch to the place, and honestly, the experience wouldn't have been the same without him. We also want to mention Mikkel, who took excellent care of us. A very good experience to try traditional Danish cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. We would definitely return!

19/08/2026: Very nice cafe, friendly service, great coffee and simple bread with cheese and jam made a nice breakfast in a relaxing café. Outdoor garden was cute also.

12/07/2026: Cool Nordic design, and I really liked the look of the bar. For lunch or brunch, you traditionally eat smørrebrød, which are very tasty open-faced sandwiches. Try a few! They have gluten-free bread that tastes almost like regular bread. The beef tartare (the one on the photo) and marinated herring were great, and there are many options to choose from. They also serve good local beer (Aamanns 1921 Wit Blanch) and tasty signature cocktails. It quite warm inside, but it is still okay despite the heat these days

11/07/2026: Lovely open sandwiches! We ordered six different varieties, and they all tasted amazing. The premises are bright and tastefully decorated. The waiters were incredibly polite and nice. We had a puppy with us, and without us having to ask they brought her a water bowl. It's not something we take for granted, and we really appreciate it. We will definitely be back!

23/05/2026: We loved this bar! The best thing is the staff's service, excellent!! It also has clean restrooms and loud music! We hope to return.

11/05/2026: I don’t usually write Google Maps reviews, but I just have to say this: I can’t remember the last time I had such a wonderful evening in a bar. The beer and the selection of it and the rest of the drinks are outstanding and the barman (I think his name was Luis? Not sure how to spell it) was really attentive, a cool metalhead and played every song we asked for. I mean: great beer and metal – what more could you want?! But the best thing about the evening was my long-haired Danish friend (I am so sorry, I’ve forgotten your name) from Bornholm. We spent the whole evening sitting at the bar talking about music, drinking beer and some disgusting liqueur, swapping music... if you’re reading this: thanks for showing me Gaerea, I’m now in love with them, absolutely great band. I hope we see each other again sometime my friend! I love you (in a platonic way ;))

20/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic cozy atmosphere and vibe at this small and unique cafe. A gem🤩 Here we were welcomed by lovely people who provided top service. The host served a lovely, self-composed pie with apricot and peach, which he just has to put on the menu. The place must be experienced.
