21/08/2025: Most "metal bars" will usually just play Sabbath, Nirvana or AC/DC to not scare non-metalheads away, so whenever I walk into a bar where Suffocation is playing in the loudspeakers, it's an automatic 5 star rating. Also the beer is affordable and the bartender was super nice.

23/11/2025: I found it by chance while out for a walk. And it was fantastic! Despite the cold, I enjoyed a cappuccino outside in the bright sunshine, along with an absolutely delicious puff pastry tart with cardamom. Simply heavenly.

23/11/2025: I visited this coffee shop 3 times, and each time I told myself it would be better and the customer service nicer (lol?) I tried pain au chocolate, cardamom croissant, cheescake and cappuccino. Coffee was okay, lil bit sour tho. The pain au chocolate was truly dryyyyy and cardamom croissant was flavorless. But my biggest issue is the customer service, the barista who served my coffee today totally didnt want to be there (auch), no eye contact, and slammed the coffee in front of me. I don't care about the small stuff like - no cappuccino saucers/little plates available or the atmosphere and such (that's likely personal preference for hospitality or style), but the barista's upset attitude is an issue for me. I'll choose Buka or Mormors next time.

14/10/2025: Great service! I had a dessert and a nice refreshing flowery juice. Exceptional service, quite and beautiful place to have a drink and dine.

It does a remarkably good job of capturing a Parisian-style luxury bistro atmosphere, with a lively yet elegant energy that makes it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The setting is pleasant, though a bit dated in some areas and in need of a refresh. The terrace could benefit from more heating on cooler days, though the provided blankets and heaters are a nice touch. Tablecloths would also help elevate the presentation and ambiance. The food is generally very good — simple, fresh, and tasty. The bread could definitely be fresher, but overall dishes are well prepared, and desserts are especially enjoyable. The mains are about average compared to Parisian bistros, but slightly above average for Copenhagen. Staff are polite and generally responsive, though sometimes a bit distracted and dressed in a style that feels slightly old-fashioned. Still, they maintain a friendly, professional (if sometimes overly informal) attitude. The bathrooms could be cleaner and more modern, and the interior décor would benefit from some updating, but the overall charm remains undeniable. Located in one of the most luxurious parts of Copenhagen, just behind the d’Angleterre, Café Victor remains a personal favorite — reliable, lively, and enjoyable year after year. I’ve been coming here for many years and even went twice on my last trip — it’s my go-to spot in Copenhagen when I want a classic, comfortable dining experience.

19/07/2025: Walking in Græsk Smag feels like walking in an authentic greek restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and takes pride in the proper spirit of Greek hospitality! Definitely recommend the gyros pita and the chocolate pie for dessert 🤌

23/12/2025: Dinner at Bistro Boheme was… an experience. And not in a good way. We walked in and stood there unnoticed while several staff members saw us and chose silence. Eventually a slightly confused maître d’ showed us to our table. Waiter asked us if we wanted water after maybe 30 minutes, took our food order after closer to 40. The explanation? “It was chaos earlier, you should be happy you arrived now when it's slowed down” If you run a restaurant of this size, managing service is not optional. The lobster bisque turned out to be an onion soup with absolutely no lobster. We were told the lobster is removed because “Danes don’t like lobster in soup, so we throw it away” Then it shouldn’t be called a lobster bisque. The smoked salmon was fine. The grilled steak and pepper sauce were good. But being offered red wine only after we’d eaten a quarter of the main course is basic service failure. Overall, it felt overpriced and underdelivered. A decent steak is easy to find. This experience was not. Won’t be returning.

18/12/2025: It is a new wave italian place with full of nice and young people. Food is always fresh and dinamic. Strongly recommmend if you dont want to choose but like to eat in a nice cosy place. Good variaty of wines that support the menu that is mostly from sea that is my favorite with good combination of vegetables.

12/12/2025: Such a cozy restaurant with great food 😍♥️ it is a set menu of antipasti, sharing style and everything was delicious. On top of that our waiter was so nice and made the whole experience much better.

07/10/2025: A Brunch worth the detour, the taste and visual pleasure to start the day. Nothing like it. Dishes that make us smile, what more could you ask for? I am a culinary epicurean and this place meets all my expectations. To tell you that I recommend it, with my eyes closed, is not enough. It is a treat and a moment of pleasure that does you good and I invite you to discover it.

18/09/2025: Totally delicious, immaculately presented. The menu has great vegetarian options. Warm, personal service, lovely art on the walls, and an intimate vibe. Looking forward to my next visit.

10/09/2025: A small but very cozy place with a wonderful atmosphere. The waitress was extremely attentive, as was the owner/chef, which made us feel very welcome. The seating was comfortable, and the art on the walls added a lovely touch. Although the restaurant is quite small, it’s absolutely worth visiting. I had the Lemongrass Garlic Shrimp “A Good Day” and my partner enjoyed the Chicken Main Course “A Leaf of Fire”, followed by the dessert of the day. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavor—we were both very satisfied. We’ll definitely be coming back!

14/11/2025: Fantastically delicious Thai food. It's not full of oil, but made perfectly - authentic and flavorful. Recently got a new menu. You can eat there - but it doesn't work as a "cozy place" and I definitely recommend just getting takeaway. There is high quality and a lot of food for the money! Lots of flavor and always friendly service. Please order in advance to avoid waiting.

05/10/2025: There has been a change of ownership and unfortunately you can taste it in the food. The food is not at all in the same league as before. Ordered a no. 41 - which I have done before, this time the noodles were dry and did not have the same taste and consistency as before, at the same time it had become far too sweet in taste, I don't know if they have started using more sugar in the food. They lost a regular customer there, unfortunately!

09/08/2025: This hot dog was really good — you could tell the sausage was high-quality and contained plenty of meat. We had it with everything, and it was the right choice. On top, there was mustard, ketchup, pickles, and crispy fried onions.

21/10/2025: Before booking, we had looked at other places cheaper than Zoku, but the reviews won us over, and we were right to trust them because it was a fantastic experience. The studio apartment was beautifully furnished, clean, with a spacious shower and a decent-sized bathroom. Plenty of drawers and closets, a very comfortable bed, and a kitchen with a sink, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine with pods, an induction stovetop with pots and pans, and a dishwasher. Blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the rooms were soundproofed. The DR BYEN metro station is a 2-minute walk away, providing easy access to all parts of the city. Below Zoku, you'll find a supermarket open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM where you can find everything you need. Finally, there's a luggage storage room where you can use the laundry machines. The common areas are clean and stylishly furnished!

21/10/2025: The property emphasizes over-cute design over comfort. You had to climb and crawl into the bed which was in a tight niche. There is an overabundance of unnecessary built-in cupboards and niches that take up the space where you could have had easier access to the bed. To make matters worse, a big step separates bed level to bathroom, a hazard if one is groggy at night. Oh, check-in is upside down, on top floor, requiring several unnecessary trips up and down elevator. This is definitely a place for hipsters rather than mature adults
