19/05/2026: The best pizza and the employees/owners are friendly and service minded

06/04/2026: Just had a gluten free Napoli pizza which was good. It’s takeaway only and there are only two seats available, so be mindful of that if you’re visiting. Gluten free base was great and not a cracker as some places use pre baked bases. They do use the same oven to cook it (real wood burning) but they do sweep away debris prior baking to cooking. Will have cross contamination.

13/07/2026: Cozy jazz venue with friendly staff and good atmosphere and music

05/07/2026: This is a wonderful venue to listen to jazz music. I bought tickets for the late night jass event that starts at 11pm for the jazz festival. When I came in exactly at the starting time, all the seats were already taken and even all the standing tables were taken. So come early if you want a good spot! I ordered some drinks at the bar and stood for an hour or two before a table opened up and I snagged it. The music is great and people are constantly coming up to play from the crowd. Overall a fun experience!

17/07/2026: Last night we had a really good kebab here, everything was fresh. The falafel was delicious, I've never had anything like it. We also had a killer soda and good fries. Highly recommended and the staff was very friendly.

24/08/2026: Loved this spot! Bar staff is SO friendly and the selections are delicious and unique. Visited on a slower early Friday afternoon and the bartender kindly taught us the Danish variant of billiards, which we loved. Great place for beer, conversation, cozy atmosphere, or Danish billiards.

04/08/2026: I have now tried Carbonara, Pasta Bomba, Lasagna, and a pizza 52. PICCANTE. The pizza was okay, but the other things were pretty basic and standard. Even my lasagna from Knorr with garlic and mornay sauce is better, which is a shame, because the place is judged really good by the reviews, I see. 🫠 The picture is of my own lasagna, which is unfortunately better. Also, if you order pizza during opening hours, it is not possible to order until 30 minutes after opening hours.

22/07/2026: I went for lunch with a friend and the food was amazing! I tried the pulpo a la gallega and it was super fresh and delicious. The waiters were very friendly and amiable. I will definitely comeback 😊😊

03/07/2026: Found this place while checking out the coffee shops around my hotel in cph and it ended up being my favourite. The coffee is so good, and I genuinely can’t stop thinking about the overnight oats. They were so so good!! I actually need the recipe?? Such a lovely little garden to enjoy the sunshine and have a bit of me time too, can’t wait to come back 🤍

26/06/2026: Assemble yourself approach to Danish sandwiches is both good and bad. You can combine as you wish, but you do not get the experience of well thought-through and beautifully created masterpieces. Tasty nevertheless.

16/08/2026: After living here for more than a year and having this café on my bucket list for the same amount of time I realised I was waiting way too long to try out Orsa’s BMO and coffee. Everything was just perfect - every component of the BMO, as well as the oat cappuccino. The staff were very busy but at the same time kind and professional, which I really appreciated. Without even asking they immediately provided us a bottle of water, just another little detail of caring for their customers. Thank you, Orsa, I can confidently say that your place just became one of my favourites. Keep on doing the good work🤍

12/08/2026: The hotel and its history may seem impressive at first: it is a truly iconic place. And yet, once you step through the door, you almost feel at home. The entire team at Marchal shows a kindness that feels genuinely sincere, immediately making you feel welcomed, valued and cared for. In an absolutely magnificent dining room, Mattia and Stefania bring an energy, elegance and warmth that almost make you wish the experience could last longer than just one meal. On the plate, you will find French cuisine executed with great class, precision and rigour. Michelin-starred restaurants can sometimes be criticised for pursuing originality at all costs, while forgetting that a great traditional dish, when perfectly executed, can be far more difficult to achieve — and ultimately far more satisfying. I have had the chance to try many dishes from the menu over several visits, and I have never been disappointed. Antoine’s pâté en croûte is incredible. The chicken with vin jaune, inspired by Chef Alexander’s family traditions, tells far more than just a story on the plate. The turbot is executed with remarkable precision. Every bite is a pleasure. And the desserts are truly excellent. If you are lucky enough to watch the crêpes Suzette being prepared by the chef or by Stefania, it is a wonderful moment that elevates the experience even further. Congratulations to everyone both in the dining room and in the kitchen: Mattia, Stefania, Lorenzo, Loïd, Maja, Elisa, Antoine, as well as all those I have not mentioned who contribute to making this such a wonderful family. And above all, congratulations to Chef Alexander for his humility and personality. Despite the level and prestige of this restaurant, he takes the time to connect with his guests, treat them with genuine respect and share his cuisine with a sincerity that can truly be felt. This is precisely what makes Marchal, in my eyes, so much more than simply a fine-dining experience. It is a restaurant where excellence never creates distance, and where you leave remembering not only the dishes, but also the people who prepared and served them. An experience that, for me, deserves far more than a single Michelin star.

10/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at Marchal. We ordered cocktails and appetizers. The cocktails arrived quickly, but we had to wait an entire hour for our appetizers. When we finally asked the waiter when we could expect our food, he actually asked us whether we had ordered anything at all. This was extremely unprofessional and made the whole experience even more frustrating. For a restaurant at this price level, we expected attentive service, professionalism, and a much higher standard of hospitality. Unfortunately, the prices are completely disproportionate to the quality of service we received. Sadly, we cannot even review the food, as we simply never received it. We did not have any more time to wait after already waiting for an hour, so we had to leave without getting the food we ordered. Overall, a very disappointing experience. The setting may be beautiful, but the service we received was nowhere near what you would expect from a restaurant at this price point.

16/08/2026: Get ready to step into pastry heaven! I havent tasted such a delicious raspberry pastry in a long long time! High quality coffee, very keen and helpful service. Elegant nostalgic interior and calm yet bustling athmosphere. 100% recommend and will come again!
