05/07/2026: We have just checked into this hotel for a two-night stay. This isn’t our first visit—we have stayed here several times before, although always during the winter. Before making this booking, we specifically called the hotel because my husband has asthma. We asked whether the rooms had individually controlled air conditioning and whether it would be possible to maintain a temperature of around 17–18°C. We were assured that this would be possible. When we arrived, our room had a thermostat that could be set as low as 17°C, so we assumed everything was in order. However, after a couple of hours it became clear that the room was not cooling down and no cool air appeared to be coming from the air-conditioning system, despite the thermostat setting. Paying close to $1,000 per night, this was very disappointing, particularly given the hotel’s luxury reputation. More importantly, the warm room is causing genuine concern because my husband’s asthma is aggravated by heat, and he is likely to need his inhaler throughout the night. We sincerely hope the hotel is able to resolve the issue promptly. Otherwise, despite having booked for two nights, we may have no choice but to check out early. Based on our experience, the rooms do not appear to have true individually controlled air conditioning, despite what we were told before booking. Instead, the system seems to provide a constant airflow at around 21–22°C, with the thermostat allowing you to select a lower temperature that the room never actually reaches. If you set the thermostat to 17°C expecting the room to cool to that temperature, you may find yourself waiting indefinitely.

04/07/2026: Very disappointing experience. For almost €2,000 per night, I expected a much higher standard. The room was surprisingly small, and basic amenities like a toothbrush, toothpaste, or even a comb were not provided unless requested. We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and were told we’d receive a bottle of champagne. It arrived much later, after we had already left the room, and it was the smallest and least expensive bottle on the menu. It felt like an afterthought rather than a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but the service throughout the stay was inconsistent. Even ordering coffee at breakfast required multiple reminders. Overall, the service simply did not match the price. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend paying this much for the experience.

The location is easy to reach, and it was very quiet inside, even though the café is on a main road. It's on my list for my next trip to Copenhagen ❤️

01/09/2026: The bar is relatively large, yet it feels very cozy and rustic. I was there on a Wednesday for the free jam sessions at 9 pm. The bar gradually became pleasantly full. There was plenty of seating, and I thoroughly enjoyed my evening there.
