04/02/2024: I'd say this is an average sushi restaurant. I wouldn't rank it among the best ones I've ever tried, but I still enjoyed it. It's just that the sushi was missing something, as if it wasn't super fresh. Besides this, it didn't look like they have any special items on the menu, rather than what you would practically find in any single sushi restaurant. However, they do have quite some types of menus, that can suit you depending on the hunger level. The place is quite welcoming, and the lady that was serving us was really careful to meet all our needs. Given the affordable prices, if you're searching for a decent enough sushi to satisfy your craving without crazy high expectations, this is good enough. The sushi boat we ordered was looking good. Furthermore, during the week there's almost no one eating in, as most people as far as I understood from the staff is going for take away.

19/10/2024: Never have I ever had worse food. The owner is the most unsympathetic person who talks so disgustingly nasty to his employees that I have never heard anything like before. It was downright painful to watch. In addition, the employee sweated so much that sweat dripped into the food, it's one of the most disgusting things I've seen, good luck to them in the future... Har aldrig fået ringere mad. Ejeren er det mest usympatiske menneske der snakker så modbydeligt grimt til sine ansatte, som jeg aldrig har hørt noget lignede før. Det var decideret pineligt at overvære. Derudover svedte medarbejderen så meget at der dryppede sved ned i maden, det er noget af det klammeste jeg har set, held og Lykke til dem fremover…

25/09/2024: Super HotDog, netter Verkäufer. Sehr zuempfehlen. Wurden nett beraten, was ein typischer dänischer Snack ist. Leckere sowei frische Soßen und Zutaten.

23/09/2024: Amazing cakes and a cozy atmosphere! Cake Up is my new favorite spot for a sweet treat. The cakes are not only delicious but beautifully crafted. The shop itself is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a slice (or two!). Highly recommend checking it out—great job to the team behind this gem! 🎂👏

29/10/2024: I just grabbed a takeaway espresso 🥤 The place is spacious but in a bad way. Opposite of cosy. Coffee was rather ok. But I can’t be a good judge of that because of the takeaway cup…

27/10/2024: The photo with the old menu should be deleted as giving misleading messages - prices have changed (which is fine) but still reasonable. Unfortunately, the place doesn't have lactose free food, a part from nuts. Pastries look average.

29/09/2024: I recently went to a champagne bar with friends after making a reservation, and it was a total letdown. When we arrived, the doorman questioned our outfits, saying they might not be appropriate. We had no idea there was a dress code, as they never informed us. We weren’t wearing shorts or flip-flops—just sneakers—but that seemed to be a problem. After he checked inside, he came back acting proud that we could enter. Once inside, a staff member scrutinized our sneakers before reluctantly letting us in. It felt incredibly rude and condescending. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. If you want to be treated with respect, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

10/10/2024: We ordered a "board" with cheeses and a "board" with charcuterie. Rarely have I seen a more miserable serving than the one we got. And we paid a shame more than 300 kroner for what you see in the picture. A few fat pieces of meat that tasted almost of nothing. The cheeses tasted fine. What should have been a nice business lunch turned out to be… well, the opposite…

01/10/2024: 20 years ago I drank my first coffee here, and since then I have been coming here often. Both for coffee and (lots of) breakfast plates, for lunch and for private events. Today I visited Tobis Spiseri with my wife, and we went with the 'chef's choice' - and luckily for that - because it was good! Super delicious small dishes, and the atmosphere with the music and the service was top notch. Big compliment to the chef, to Tobias for the wine selection and to the sweet waiters for their present and relaxed, personalized service. So - whether you are for a cup of coffee, a breakfast plate, lunch, a glass of vino or the large menu, I can highly recommend (my local favourite) Tobis!
