09/08/2025: Takeaway..2 burgers and fries The burgers tasteless and dry.... actually bad taste.. fries ok and good dressing

28/04/2025: I have had food delivered twice now from Gæstgivergaarden and it has been to UG both times (Christmas and Easter). The food tastes really nice, everything is well prepared and in ample quantities and nicely wrapped. And so cool that they also offer delivery. A warm recommendation from here.

17/08/2025: The food was inedible; we had a doner kebab and a durum kebab. The meat had a very strange consistency and a very bad taste. The bread tasted dusty and also had a strange flavor. We lost our appetite after the first bite. This has absolutely nothing to do with the doner kebab we're used to in Germany. To be honest, I didn't even want my daughter to take another bite because I was very unsure whether the food was even edible or just rotten. They'll never see us again.

12/08/2025: A very pleasant and atmospheric restaurant with friendly service. But the most important thing is, of course, the food. It was, in a word, excellent. We only chose an appetizer, but if we have time, we will definitely go back.

03/08/2025: We ordered a Pizza Burrata and Pasta dish with beef tenderloin and 2 large Pepsi Max. The pizza was a bit of a fusion between Neapolitan and Roman pizza. The edges were airy, but not as airy as Neapolitan and the bottom was crispy, as a Roman pizza should be. The Parma ham was good, flavorful pesto and a delicious burrata. Although the pizza probably does not meet Italian guidelines, it tasted good and was delicious. The pasta dish was deliciously creamy with delicious mushrooms and delicious beef tenderloin, which was medium-rare. The only minus, which is a big one when it is a pasta dish at an Italian restaurant - the pasta was ordinary penne like from a supermarket. Should perhaps be homemade or better quality for 245 kr. The service was quiet, did not do much - a bit on the impersonal side, but there were also many guests. Nice to sit outside.

26/04/2025: The service was good with friendly staff. We ordered different dishes, some were ok and some was a bit disappointing. Hence only 2 stars. The servings were large, and very affordable prices. Locals were clean and tidy.

17/05/2025: We bought an ice cream cone and sat out back and ate it. We regretted it. Because it was apparently also the kitchen staff's break and smoking area. We saw them serving other customers at the same time, without a sink and with their cigarettes waiting, lit, in the ashtray. There was no cozy atmosphere or oasis at all. Weeds in old jars. Boring atmosphere and cigarette smoke from the staff.

10/08/2025: Had the most delicious pork with crackling and sweet red cabbage baps from this service station - huge, messy, tasty and indulgent! YUM!
