01/07/2026: A cozy place where the owner greets you with a smile and you immediately feel at home and relaxed. The prices may seem expensive, but with the quality you get for the money, the prices are absolutely perfect. The portions are large and look really inviting. The place is a must visit if you are in Blokhus or Hune and like seafood. Bonus: All seafood is from Denmark.

28/06/2026: Every year again!!! Fresh fish for sale. Also on offer are very tasty fish salads. The restaurant is great too. Delicious fish specialties, beautifully presented and at a fair price. Very friendly staff.

09/10/2025: My husband and I were coming back from watching the black sun starlings (which was an amazing experience) and we were cold and hungry. This cozy restaurant exceeded expectations in its welcome and warmth. I have a life threatening allergy due to alpha-gal allergy I developed from a tick bite. Which means I can’t eat any mammal meat or dairy at this time. Our waiter and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate me and created new additions to the fish dish that were delicious. The fresh beets and potatoes were so amazing as well! I highly recommend!

23/07/2026: I usually don't write bad reviews, but I feel like this one is necessary. My husband and I chose the buffet and...well. Good things first: the dessert options were tasty, as was the fish soup. The servers were very nice. However, everything else just sucked. The hot food was either overcooked, tasteless or cold. Sometimes all three. For almost 400 kr expect more. Also, the place was way to small for a buffet so you couldn't pick out food without being in someones way, be it the servers, the kitchen personel or people coming down the stairs. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

01/07/2026: We were here on Tuesday, July 1st, and were very satisfied. We had the plaice with a side salad (even with edamame!) and good crispy fries. You can also buy crab as an extra. Instead of the usual remoulade, they served an Asian-style sauce, which was absolutely delicious. It was attractively presented and tasted great. Even as someone with allergies, I had no problems (a remoulade without onion and cucumber made me very happy). They even brought me a small bowl of ketchup with the fries upon request. And we were allowed to bring our Norwich Terrier out onto the terrace (dogs aren't allowed inside). The waitresses who served us were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The terrace is nicely sheltered from the wind by the high wooden railing. We would definitely come back.

14/07/2026: Was there on a lovely warm sunny day and that didn't make the experience any less. Their fish platters are fresh and straight from the smokehouse. You can tell right away that it's going to taste good. It turned out it did. If you're passing by on a boat, make a pit stop here and eat here or pick up fresh fish from the smokehouse for later eating on the boat.

12/06/2026: We've been there twice now and are thrilled again. You have to get your own food. The decor is simple and functional. But the food is fantastic. And that's what matters most 😄.

22/07/2026: Food was not particularly interesting compared to the prize. We ordered a Toledo Dish which was way too small and not anything special compared to the price. The poke ball was okay, but again compared to the prize not worth. You could probably make it more interesting yourself. The desert was just a scoop of chocolate ice cream … not worth the money at all…

17/07/2026: 5 generations of smokers. Professionals who are passionate about fish and customer experiences. Fresh fish is smoked every day. They start smoking at 3:30 am every night to have fresh products and the experience of the fish being taken out while you eat lunch. Wide selection.

15/07/2026: The smoked fish is so good! We tried the "smoke duet" for two and we both loved it. Unfortunately they were out of herring when we arrived (around 18:30) but we got another smoked mackerel instead. The view overlooking the ocean was lovely. The staff was kind and helpful. There wasn't a kid's menu so the portions were a bit big for a child. Would definitely recommend a visit if you want to eat at a røgeri in Bornholm. The smoked salmon was the best I've ever had! Loved the different sauces as well.

29/05/2026: I was at Suri's fish shop and saw something that I found very concerning. Condensation from the air conditioning was dripping directly onto the raw fish that was on ice. It wasn't just a single drop, but clear water running down onto the fish. I pointed it out to an employee, but unfortunately I didn't experience any real reaction or concern. The attitude seemed more like "it doesn't matter". For me, it's very difficult to trust food safety when raw fish is exposed to condensation from an air conditioning system and the staff doesn't take it seriously when you say it. I really hope they fix it right away, but I won't buy fish from there after seeing such handling.

22/05/2026: Super delicious food, and good service.

25/10/2025: Was here for lunch with the family. Very welcoming staff who are at eye level with the guests and are able to be relaxed. The food is, for lack of a better description, fantastic. Both the Bunkerburger in the regular version and the mini were perfect. In addition, we got board dishes that fully lived up to expectations and more than reasonable for the price. All in all, a superb experience.
