20/07/2026: Food and service in a class of its own. We had the small evening menu with juice menu. Delicious ingredients, fine dishes, beautiful view and beautifully decorated rooms. The service was top notch. If there is one criticism, it could be the noise level. It was difficult to talk quietly across the table.

14/08/2026: The number of stars is an expression of the relationship between price, quality and my subjective experience of the place. We have visited Halsnæs Bryghus quite a few times over a long period of time. We have only left disappointed if everything has been busy; otherwise never. They have maintained a high standard of service at absolutely affordable prices. And I can promise you that you will not leave hungry. They don't skimp on the beer either, if that's your thing, and otherwise you can get wines that are also well worth the price. And then there's the service — we are always greeted by a friendly, attentive and attentive staff, making you feel welcome. All of this together creates a cozy setting both indoors and outdoors, a setting we feel comfortable in. Yesterday it was a warm day, so we chose to sit outside. It went as follows: a snack in the form of beer bread with salt and oil, Riesling for the wine glass and an IPA to quench our thirst while we waited for the dishes: fish soup (the creamy kind) and a plate of their vegetarian stew. Both were really delicious and plentiful; the fish soup was full of good things. I had the vegetarian stew, seasoned to taste, full of good ingredients both in and on the side (juicy wheat kernels) — the result was umami and strangely appetizing. Remember to check their blackboard, there may be "things" that are not on the menu... sooooo we finished with cheesecake with currant juice and strawberries on top — one for each. Halsnæs Bryghus has our best recommendations — we will definitely be back

26/08/2026: Good fish and chips🐟 We especially liked the batter, it had an almost curry-spiced flavour to it. We couldn’t quite put our finger on what it was, but it tasted really nice! We also liked the outdoor seating, where you can sit and watch everyone walking and cycling past. Service was quick too

21/08/2026: Interesting menu, but it was not flavourful enough, if they improve on this point it would deserve 4.5 stars which the note of a good restaurant 🙂

19/08/2026: Romantic brasserie in Hojen with a traditional yet sophisticated menu and beautifully presented dishes. Portions are generous. Recommended.

07/08/2026: Price and quality are not related anymore. The quality used to be higher and the price less. We have been coming here for about 20 years and usually come every year, but this year will be the last time unfortunately

31/07/2026: Good room. Poor drainage in the shower. It is advisable to bring your own pillow.

19/10/2025: The guesthouse on Christiansø – a lovely experience There were four of us on a trip and we had a really nice lunch at the guesthouse. The salted herring and the pan-fried cod tasted great – fresh and well-cooked. The atmosphere was relaxed and authentic, and the service was friendly. The women enjoyed rhubarb and lemon/lime drinks from Bornholms Mosteri, which went perfectly with the food. Unfortunately, the brewmaster had retired, so the local beer was sold out, but Grimbergen was a nice alternative. All in all, a really good experience, which can be recommended if you visit Christiansø.

03/09/2025: Shut up it's good food. A little stiff service but it was also busy so it's okay. There were still smiles so everything was okay. The prices indicate that there is not much competition on the island but in return the quality is top notch. Exquisite and delicious

28/08/2026: Mediocre and uninspired buffet for the money 300kr/Swedish. Some of the food was tasteless. The smoked fish saved the meal. Somewhat of a disappointment.

26/06/2026: Even if you pre-order, don't expect much from the plant-based lunch menu. You get the same as the others, minus the animal stuff, meaning you get no main ingredients, no protein, and nothing that fills you up. Mostly just lettuce leaves served three times.

25/06/2026: We had a 3 course menu, full of great flavors, the food was great, beautifully presented, friendly staff, great location, highly recommended 🌞 👍

18/08/2026: Super delicious food, we had 2 users who were a bit out of their "normal menu" but it was well homemade and really filling, tasty and good. Homemade steaks, mayo etc. There was a little goodie bag with homemade bread from the kitchen. Good service, which was about it and generally nice surroundings

18/08/2026: A lovely stop right at the harbor in Gilleleje. For starters, we had shrimp on toast – fresh, well-seasoned, and generously topped. Then came the Bar Burger: juicy, cooked perfectly, and expertly prepared. It was accompanied by a homemade lime-mint lemonade that struck just the right balance between tartness and refreshment. The service was consistently courteous, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable choice – we'd gladly return.

03/07/2026: Very tasty food. Gluten-free bread is available upon request, and the fish is breaded gluten-free.

23/08/2026: We will always cherish this restaurant, which I had already spotted from home while planning our road trip from Venice to Copenhagen! As soon as we arrived in Denmark, we really needed to be pampered, and you delivered 100%. Cozy is simply fantastic, located in a small corner of a small harbor in Fredericia. It serves delicious fish with two very friendly waiters. If we could, we would return immediately... but you're too far away :) Congratulations, and keep up the good work. 20/08/2026: Nice environment and a nice restaurant, but hardly worth the price. The food was not that impressive, the plaice was too hard fried and the sauce (browned butter with capers) tasted neither of butter nor of capers, but rather consisted mostly of cooking oil, and the cooked fish tasted of nothing.

19/08/2026: Generous portions. Rustic yet comfortable. The fish soup and salmon are delicious. I recommend it for a hearty but affordable meal.

08/11/2025: Better than average, actually really good. Got a takeaway and ate at the restaurant. Their kimchi is fantastic, and salads are top notch. Sushi is really good. Nice and clean place, with plenty of space.

04/11/2025: At first glance it looks like a mediocre place, not the larger decor in this room, we got sweet and friendly service and a nice introduction to the concept we chose sushi ad libitum, I don't know sushi enough to know if it's 100% in the cupboard but I can tell you it was nice and very tasty and really delicious and nicely presented, tampure 🍤 and the chicken was so well cooked and their lamb was really good lots of food and sweet service this is really recommended
