01/09/2026: Good food and a beautiful location

22/08/2026: We ate at this restaurant several times this year. This time, the selection was very limited. The bread was soggy, the asparagus was just a tiny piece on the plate, and the yellow roe de chickpeas weren't great either. The garnish was minimal and unimaginative. They were also stingy with the dressing. The fried fish was okay. We had guests with us, to whom we raved about the food. All in all, we were disappointed with the value for money.

22/08/2026: Everything was absolutely fantastic. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. I had the burger and I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. The fries were also perfectly seasoned and nice and crispy. The fish and chips were delicious too.

13/08/2026: Super cozy place. Nice attentive waiter who came down and asked if everything was okay. Offered a spc beer that was not on the menu. Can recommend this place to everyone

05/08/2026: Today's lunch, Bodilles Stjerneskud, is the best dish I've had all year. A perfectly balanced meal. Highly recommend!

27/08/2026: A string of delights🤩 I had a pan-fried plaice, fried to perfection. My husband had a fabulous truffle sauce for his beef. Potatoes cooked to perfection. Super delicious bread and homemade butter and a small aperitif to start. All in all, a truly excellent experience. Huge praise to the chef and the sweetest serving staff.

27/08/2026: Perfect lunch menu - v tasty and portion size spot on. Friendly and smiley waitress - the bill was refreshingly expensive(!) although card machine was playing up requiring cash payment instead.

25/10/2025: Was here for lunch with the family. Very welcoming staff who are at eye level with the guests and are able to be relaxed. The food is, for lack of a better description, fantastic. Both the Bunkerburger in the regular version and the mini were perfect. In addition, we got board dishes that fully lived up to expectations and more than reasonable for the price. All in all, a superb experience.

25/10/2025: A fantastic place, with delicious food, great views and the most amazing decor

11/08/2026: I had the poke bowl. It had no taste, few ingredients and it was expensive. The worst and most expensive poke bowl in Copenhagen. There are many places in Nørrebro, and they are all much better. Supposedly they have three variants, but they only had tuna. Wuaw. This place cannot be recommended.

30/07/2026: Pleasant place with truly exceptional service! The food was hit-or-miss, though, the fish burger was on the dry side. Still worth a visit for the good vibes and hospitality

21/08/2026: Place "serve yourself" style. It's pretty nice and clean, at good location (the port) and free parking nearby. The food was fine and fresh (we ordered fish and chips) and relatively cheap. But the dish size is accordingly not large. Frankly speaking we ate better versions of this in other places.

20/08/2026: We stopped at this restaurant on the harbor to try some local dishes and were very pleased. We tried Stjerneskud, Fiskefrikadeller, Rejemad, Fish & Chips, and Sprøde Løgringe. All very good. For four people, including a beer, a Pepsi, and two waters, we spent 763 kroner; the portions weren't generous.

03/08/2026: Fantastic evening at Restaurant Kædeby Café we enjoyed the food at the tables outside with a beautiful and cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely fantastic. With a cozy and friendly service that was very attentive to their guests. Not the first time we enjoy the food from Restaurant Kædeby but certainly not the last. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for a wonderful evening 🙏🏻

24/07/2026: Really cozy inn with a good buffet for young and old. The meat was juicy and you had to cut it yourself. Everyone left full and satisfied and for a very reasonable price.

11/08/2026: We had a fantastic meal last night. Let's start with the fish. My husband had the scallop dish and said it was excellent; his favorite dish in Holbaek. My fish entree with incredible vegetables (the mushrooms and corn had so much flavor)! I had never eaten a whitefish cooked with a light piece of toast on top; delicious. My husband loved his halibut entree as well. The amuse bouche (I don't know the Danish term for it 🤔) was a plate of four little bites of both seafood and ham. The two other parts of the meal ambiance and service: what a joy to eat a meal without loud music, struggling to hear others at the table. A very pleasant dining room with a view of boats in the harbor. And Camille delivered 5 star service; personable, attentive, knowledgeable about the ingredients and preparation--she is a total pro. Kudos to the chef and his team. A great finish to our week in Denmark.

06/08/2026: Really cozy place and the food was definitely worth the trip. Tasted super delicious and their IPA is definitely recommended. Will definitely come again.

11/08/2026: Ok so the food was great but I had a very long wait to be seated. It appeared that there were only one server and a host working and running food,drinks etc. There were also many tables. Additionally I had to wait a bit before the server came to my table. Anyways the food was delicious and the I really liked the atmosphere and the menu. I came for lunch during a trip to Copenhagen. I think it's worthy of 5 stars. Maybe they had someone call off that day or something but they could potentially need to beef up service bodies. Their menu is also posted outside so you can see what they have to offer. Also in a popular area/central location.

30/08/2026: It's a nice restaurant in itself. We had a reservation for two families. Unfortunately, the candle-making activity is no longer offered as described on the website, apparently because the smell bothered other guests. I can understand that, but please remove it from the website. Our children were certainly disappointed. The food was delicious for everyone. Unfortunately, some portions were very small. I could easily have eaten the same portion of salmon fillet with lemon butter and potatoes again. When I go to a restaurant, I don't want to go home hungry after the appetizer and main course. What really spoiled our visit was the very unfriendly, almost rude service from the owner. I don't think she meant any harm, but some comments are simply unacceptable for guests. She was extremely impatient at times. For example, when we wanted to order, her husband, the chef, came over and asked us a few questions. While we were answering him, she said, "If you can't decide, I can serve other guests in the meantime," who, mind you, had all already finished eating. When we got up to leave, she put away the high chairs for the two youngest children (3 and 4) and said, "I'll have to call the cleaning crew." If we wanted to order more drinks, we had to get up and go to the bar. It didn't seem to occur to her to check in on us or even just glance over. To be honest, I've never been treated like that in a restaurant before. At times, we felt more like a nuisance than welcome. Very disappointing!

28/08/2026: Best food within a 20 km radius, German-run, seasonal side dishes such as chanterelles or porcini mushrooms, and fish made with whatever was caught that day. Excellent service, everything is explained. Absolutely perfect and delicious. Unfortunately, no draft beer, but the white wine is very good. As previously mentioned, there's also a small play area for children. Great atmosphere for the area.

16/07/2026: Amazing food, great service and beautiful views. One of the best fish and chips I have ever had!

12/07/2026: On one of the hottest days of the year we just had to have some lunch. Oh my, a small mango salad. How delicious... And it was so small...!! For 99 kr you expect more than half a handful of boring salad and four (yes FOUR) pieces of hard mango. Fish & chips... Thats, haddock that had been in the wishing well for 2-3 hours too much - in short it had gotten so much that it was dry and about to fall apart All in all. The view and the service are nothing to put a finger on. If you want something to eat you have to dive very deep into the molehill to get full.
