22/07/2026: Gisseløre's location and the food served are at least 4 stars. That's why it's really a shame that we end up with just 2 stars. 16/7 2026. Our wedding anniversary (32 years-Thank you) Dinner at 6:30 pm. Lovely warm summer evening, children swimming and having fun and we sit outside and enjoy the good weather. What could go wrong? Pretty much everything, it turns out. The food was quite good, but unfortunately the rest of the experience was a failure. The mistakes are too many to write here, but for example: We sat for about 20 minutes in the heat without so much as a glass of water to start with. Snacks with a glass of bubbles turned into half a glass of bubbles served 15 minutes before the snacks. It didn't add up. We got our main course 1 hour and 45 minutes after we arrived. It must be said that the employees were very nice and apologized, but there was a clear lack of competence. It will probably be a while before we try again. Practice.

16/07/2026: The most amazing little place, a real gem. The dedicated couple gathers all the local herbs themselves and stands there serving and explaining. The brunch is a must every year we are in the area. Remember to book well in advance!

18/06/2026: Delicious authentic Italian food. Good reasonable price. Really good coffee. The location is a bit of a shame, it doesn't impress from the outside, but a lot has been done to create a good atmosphere inside.

19/07/2026: In the sleeping little village there was a gem we found. Really nice staff and really good food. You won't leave here hungry as the portions are really generous. Highly recommended.

14/07/2026: Great place. The large drinks are really big. The Viking pizza is delicious for people who like it a bit spicy. All pizzas are also available in a gluten-free version.

29/07/2026: Updated July 2026: Since our visits in 2024, we’ve been to this cafe a few times since. Food remains really good. Top marks for the brunch and salads. Burger is OK. Service level is less good. Wait is too long, and the staff is not all attentive. Some spend more time on their phones behind the counter than with the guests. Such a shame, because their attitude is fine, the attention is just not there. Drinks are 10% overpriced. Staff slightly more attentive today (2026) than in the past but still too little attention to the floor and the outdoor seating. Update: Earning a 4th star for their loyalty program!

14/05/2026: Was here for French Spring and really cozy place. Super subdued in the old house and from the moment you arrive you are welcomed, you are allowed to taste if the beer on tap is the right one and the food comes in less than 5 minutes and tastes like a dream. Definitely a place you will come back to. Notice that the warehouse is built on stone and they have napkins that are in a French theme. So done
