16/02/2026: I came home from Sri Lanka. Minus 10 degrees. Stopped by this restaurant and had a really tasty and authentic spicy Butter Chicken. Wow! Plus Naan bread and proper well-cooked rice. I can definitely recommend that. The prices are also decent even though they are almost the same in DKK as in LKR... So you have to do the math yourself 🙏

16/10/2025: Great family-friendly Indian (with western options) restaurant in Vig! Vig is a lovely small town, and this restaurant is a real gem. Although it serves Italian and other Western dishes too, we visited mainly for the Indian food — and it was fantastic! Our family loved the flavorful curries. My teenagers couldn’t get enough of the butter chicken and naan, and we really enjoyed the spicy mutton curry. Even our 7-year-old was happy with chicken nuggets and fries — so everyone found something they liked. Despite being a quiet holiday time with just a handful of people around town, the restaurant was lively, with several Danish guests dining in and picking up takeout. The interior has beautiful statues of Hindu gods, giving it a very inviting and authentic atmosphere. We were staying in Holbæk (vacation stay), about a 30-minute drive away, and it was absolutely worth the trip. As a bonus, the road to Vig is wonderfully scenic! And friendly owner.

12/01/2026: It's good that you're open to criticism, because I've been a regular customer for 14 years but haven't ordered in the last six months as the prices have become too high. It's always been a bit expensive to buy a dish, as it doesn't contain much meat, but you're also paying for quality and good taste. But I must say that now it no longer looks like it's just that the prices have increased on your purchases, but maybe also some other operating costs you have. If you've raised the retail price by 20% but at the same time have experienced price increases of 50% on your wholesale prices for Lamb and dairy products, then it's probably going up too. 1 kg of lamb approx. 50 kr purchase increases to 60 kr. So you sell 10 dishes with 100 grams of meat in each for normally 149 kr but now instead 175 kr = 260 kr in extra income and the expense is a dime? Is it possible that you have become busier and are at maximum capacity with employees, so when you can't expand, could it be a solution to raise the price instead? This will lose you a few customers and some earnings, which the other customers will then have to pay for, and at the same time you can better cover the volume of orders? 20/12/2025: Service beyond the ordinary! Kashmir in Køge really stands out – not only in the food, but especially in the service. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive and make you feel genuinely welcome every time. They take the time, remember the customers and provide a personal service that is rarely experienced today. The food is as always delicious, tasty and well seasoned, but it is the warm and welcoming service that makes you want to come back again and again. A clear recommendation!

06/09/2025: Stopped by for an ice cream, but was unfortunately very disappointed. I had a waffle with two scoops (white chocolate/lemon/licorice and chocolate/blackcurrant), but they tasted of almost nothing – it just seemed like neutral vanilla ice cream. My boyfriend had a vanilla soft serve, but it was far too thick and lacking in freshness. We had been looking forward to it, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations at all, so we will not be back.

16/10/2025: I just enjoyed two salt-fried herrings with soft onions, mustard, beetroot and rye bread, absolutely superb, top marks 🤗👏🏻

11/08/2025: Terribly bad service, the woman who answered the phone was almost annoyed with us because we asked if the salsa was very spicy… and when we picked up the food, it was dirty and the girls were doing TikTok, and didn't even say good evening. Also, we got very dry meat, and 110kr for a small burrito is definitely overpriced!! We were definitely disappointed, and won't be back😕

01/08/2025: Good food and cozy atmosphere! I tasted both the burrito with marinated beef and the one with chicken. At first I wondered if I would even be full, because the portion doesn't look that big. But it was actually more filling than expected, so it wasn't a problem. The place is located in a small, cozy corner of a modern container housing area. You have to be a little brave to drive in, though, the roads look blocked, even though they aren't. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Roskilde. :)

27/09/2025: Had ordered Friday tapas as a vegetarian, but would like fish and seafood. Was served both serrano ham, chicken and beef along the way with the words that it's good to try something new. Practice!

20/07/2025: The absolute best baker in the area. The bread is delicious and tastes like something. I always buy my bread there and yesterday I bought their strawberry pie which was definitely worth the 125 kr. Always good service, always friendly and with a smile on their face despite the hustle and bustle, a lovely place to come hence the 5 stars 🙌🙌🥰🥰
