29/10/2024: Really good steak. Fried according to my wishes. Good taste. Garnish, however, was too simple.

27/10/2024: Excellent pepper steak. Update: Was at Det Mexicanske Bøfhus yesterday and the service here was top class. We were received by welcoming and smiling staff, who quickly assigned us a seat at our table. I got a pepper steak just like in my first review and it did not disappoint. It is perhaps the best pepper sauce in town and the meat was tender and cooked as ordered, medium rare of course.

17/11/2024: We visited this cozy place on Mortensaften and enjoyed their duck, which tasted absolutely fantastic. The only downside was that the service could have been better. 16/11/2024: Great restaurant in a unique location, by the sea and in the forest, perfect to enjoy a walk in nature. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is based on a great concept, everything is fresh and from high quality ingredients at fair prices. We had the julefrokost with 3 fish dishes, 1 shrimp, 1 pork and a dessert.

04/10/2024: A really nice place, but unfortunately we were served the driest and hardest pork we have ever had. The potatoes were good and the parsley sauce was excellent. In 2020 we actually ordered fried pork as take away and unfortunately it was also dry and hard. We apologized with the fact that you probably have to stay away from take away fried pork and bet that eating on the spot would be much better. So it wasn't.

03/11/2024: the staff seemed grumpy. as if the customers were a nuisance. Baked potato burnt so that only the middle could be eaten. A rather sad experience.

07/08/2024: Enjoy your meal! The steak was cooked as desired, the pepper sauce was very tasty and appropriate. Waitresses attentive.

22/07/2024: Lovely restaurant. Great service. Delicious food. Good prices. Great home made food. Lovely staff. The menu is nice and sufficiently varied. The atmosphere cost. I particularly appreciated that all meat appears to be served with French fries or baked potato as well as a lovely crisp salad. One of our party particularly enjoyed the appetizer made with Thai shrimp. While I did not taste it, my cousin absolutely loved it and he is still raving about it! If I had one complaint, —and it should be taken lightly— it is that they do not serve veggie burgers. They have great ham and beef burgers, but it would be very simple to add a veggie burger so that our 16-year old —who has decided that she is now a vegetarian— can also enjoy a wholesome meal with the rest of the family😀.

15/10/2024: Amazing food, amazing ambiance, amazing service - regret not asking the name of the lady that served us but she was brilliant. Never been here before but visit Roskilde for work quite often, shall be back for sure.

12/08/2024: Food good, prices reasonable but service poor. Menu cards were only available after a long wait after other customers had been served. Placing orders again took longer than with other customers. Then the food came, unfortunately without cutlery. We had to request that. And the drinks still weren't there 30 minutes later. So ask again. Everything is very unpleasant. Not recommended for out-of-town guests (orders in English).
