We got the luxury 'platten' and the quality was top notch and it was even presented in German in honor of my guest from the neighboring country in the south, excellent! In addition, there is a large and exciting selection of wines, which I would like to explore next time. Thanks for the food!

20/12/2025: Just popped in for a cup of hot cocoa. Super cozy, and delicious with cocoa with whipped cream and a Christmas mousse on top and just a little cookie. It was 110% okay. Fast service and cozy surroundings.

19/11/2025: It's very expensive here. We spent over €200 for four people, each ordering a burger and a drink. The staff seemed more preoccupied with chatting with the kitchen staff than with serving the dining area.

03/01/2026: Nice and lovely experience with really good food and drinks, all in all a good experience. Just a "but" they didn't serve dessert in the restaurant. We had to go to another building. After we came out, we decided to drive home.. I would have rather sat and had dessert. They are really missing out on paying customers.

26/01/2026: 5 out of 5 stars – An evening to remember We celebrated a special occasion last night and chose this restaurant – and it was nothing short of perfect. Right from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile and a sense that they had been looking forward to our visit. We were given a beautiful window seat overlooking the city lights and the canal, and the atmosphere was just right: elegant without being stiff, soft candlelight, discreet music and a pleasant buzz from other guests. We chose the 5-course menu with wine pairing and it was a real pleasure from the first bite to the last. The dishes were beautifully presented – almost like little works of art – and each flavour was balanced and surprising in the best way. The highlights for us were: The crispy lobster with pickled fennel and a light citrus foam The tender veal tenderloin with Jerusalem artichokes and a deep, reduced sauce The dessert: a chocolate-sea buckthorn creation with crunchy elements and fresh acidity that lifted it all The wines were brilliantly chosen – the sommelier spoke briefly and passionately about each bottle, and the pairings were right in the cupboard. Everything felt well thought out and with respect for the seasonal ingredients. The service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, with little smiles and genuine interest in our experience. They even remembered small details from our booking, which made the evening extra personal. The price is of course on the high end (as expected with this kind of quality), but every krone was well spent – ​​it felt like an investment in an unforgettable evening. If you are looking for a place where food, atmosphere and service come together in a higher unity, then this is definitely one of the best choices in Denmark. We left with big smiles and a feeling that we had been part of something special. Thank you for a magical evening – we will definitely be back ❤️🍷🍽️

30/12/2025: Long wait for 2 cups of coffee. Had to wait until everyone who came in and stood in line was dispatched before the coffee was made. We were 2 seconds away from leaving without the coffee. It can't be very good for the reputation that you don't make the coffee immediately when it is ordered, but have to wait for others to get delivered even if they came after you. We won't be back.

20/12/2025: This is a beautiful small gem with a great view of the harbor and Roskilde Fjord. The coffee and food is good quality and it’s a very cozy place with a nice atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the bun with cheese and whipped butter. They have their own mini bakery. The service is friendly, efficient and quick.

22/02/2026: Really cozy place despite the fact that it is actually huge both inside and out. We came for lunch and one got Denmark's largest sausage roll and the other 3 herrings, which all tasted like a dream. Big thanks to the newcomer for a fantastic service and smile, she managed everything on her 2nd day of work with a cross and a snake :-)

31/01/2026: A really cozy place in southern Denmark. We have visited the place several times over the years, and every time it has been a good experience. The atmosphere is nice, and we always leave satisfied. A place we can highly recommend, and which we will definitely return to.

31/10/2025: Absolutely delicious lunch, where everything was super fresh and flavorful. Good service and a really cozy place *updated* we celebrated a big birthday in Koral café. The owner took it very seriously and we were invited to a wine tasting and planning beforehand. We gave Louis free rein and had the most delicious dinner, which my family is still talking about a year later. It was absolutely perfect

04/06/2025: Took help from Google Maps from the ferry from Germany on the way back to Sweden. Previous reviews made us go to the cute little village of Eskilstrup and have dinner at the pizzeria. Pizza no. 7, Roma, magically good with a thin crispy bottom. Lots of meat, chicken and salami. There were 2 of us who shared a normal-sized pizza and were quite full. Recommended!
