27/05/2025: Great lunch. Very tasty. Good beer and very friendly staff

05/05/2025: Hi there. To start off our vacation in Køge, Denmark, we wanted to eat out on our first evening here. Jenners Dockside is located right at the harbour with a beautiful view of the water canal and the town sign. Atmosphere wise, it was cosy and homey yet sophisticated. The waitresses were absolutely nice and service was terrific. The food. Well. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel with roasted potatoes, some weird lettuce thingy on top as well as anchovies (why?!) and capers (just why?!) with some brown sauce to the side which tasted like Køttbullar. The schnitzel was dead af. Fried till death, thin, no flavour at all. Even the lemon slice has seen better ages. Additionally, we had beef tenderloin with root vegetables, again with the lettuce thingies on top and some weird dip that tasted like a mix of tangy Remoulade and expired mayo. I ordered it medium well. The outcome was nowhere near. It seemed like the beef only had a glance of the pan. From far.far.far.faaaaar.away. I’m still not entirely sure if that big chunk of half alive beef was in the same room as the pan. My plate was drenched in bloody juice and I had trouble to cut it due to being undercooked and soft. If I was a vampire, that beef would’ve been perfect. The fries tasted weirdly sweet until I realised it was old fat. We ordered focaccia on the side. Let me tell you, that wasn’t focaccia rather than white bread that was coated in rosemary and a lot of salt. For drinks we had lemon sodas that had next to no flavour. We payed 675 dk and the smell of old fat followed us out of the establishment. The food gave us and our intestines a lot of stuff to digest.

01/05/2025: A restaurant that is worth the detour: impeccable, fast and attentive service. The dishes, as well as the cuts of meat, were tasty and perfectly cooked. The desserts were just as excellent to end in style, balanced just right As an added bonus, the children loved their menu, especially the hamburger, which was more than generous.

20/04/2025: My first full day in denmark, and I visited Roskilde because of the viking(ship) musuem. This restaurant was recommended to me by google, because I wanted to try some Danish cuisine and I was not dissapointed. I learned that danes like the idea of putting a lot of varied stuff on a slice of breat, and this restaurant also had a few of these on their menu, so I tried it. It was really good! It looked great, tasted good, the price was fine - it was just a bit weird to eat 😅 Normally with breat, you have your stuff on it and eat - but on the danish meal version, there is just soooo much on it, you can't possibly eat it all with a bite. I probably looked a bit weird to the locals, but still enjoyed my meal nonetheless. The service was also great, while it was really busy, they still found a small spot for me to sit and eat - all while being super helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, and want to experience good service and food!

12/04/2025: Completely fantastic smørrebrød, but when you buy highly coated smørrebrød, you also expect good rye bread. That was the reason for the only 4 stars. Have had smørrebrød from them before, and will definitely do so again. The staff is also always super welcoming.

03/05/2025: Great cafe, nice service, even though we spoke German, the communication was very good, we received everything. Omelette absolutely delicious. In the summer it's definitely nice to sit outside by the water. Great recommendation from Google 👍

19/04/2025: I don't quite know where to start, if it wasn't really bad food put together by someone who doesn't have a clue about Asian food, then it was the really badly made cocktails that were so sour you could have bitten into a ciron. The conversation has been going on with my fellow visitors about how disappointed we really were about our stupid decision to visit IZA guide.... Besides that, the waiter tipped twice! Didn't think she deserved the 30 DKK that we forgot for a bad evening that cost 2600 for a maximum of 200g of meat and 100g of tofu. We will never ever recommend the place or take a guest there again, it was too embarrassing! Asian gastro pub with American hip hop 👌 no thanks!

21/04/2025: We are back home visiting from Australia and have already enjoyed three fantastic dinners at Restaurant Kobæk. Many thanks to Sandra, Søren and the whole team - the quality of food and wine does not deny itself and service and hospitality are, as always, top notch.

14/04/2025: Super nice food and wine. Second time we are here and with the same good experience. We got today's menu, with roast veal, butter-fried potatoes, the most delicious vegetables and red wine sauce. For dessert Pavlova with ice cream. A good bottle of red wine and Irish coffee for dessert

16/01/2025: My favorite Kebab in Denmark, and not priced too badly compared to other ones in Roskilde. Everything tastes fresh just like it's supposed to, the meat is also nicely seasoned. I can only reccomend their chili sauce. The facilities are also very clean and the people are friendly.
