14/09/2023: Stalden Café has certainly seen better days. There is a lot of disorder in and around the house, and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired everywhere. This is one of the reasons why we skipped food/breakfast and were happy to continue traveling after one night there. Therefore: Not recommended!

27/08/2023: We haven't been particularly impressed. The place is very messy and dirty. Especially what they call the restaurant. Dead flies on the windowsill and lots of cobwebs in the windows. Dirt in the sugar, salt and pepper jars filthy with dung. The waiter had many open wounds on his arms with fresh blood, it wasn't very nice to look at when he came in with the food without a bandage. The floor was filthy with dung. The one tourist magazine that was on the table for us was completely stuck together. The mugs had big chips in them. We were told that they had just cleaned before we came. The mixer tap had not been cleaned in any case, nor had the mirror.

23/07/2024: Large portions. Great selection. Food was good and hot. Worth a visit.

22/07/2024: We have eaten here before under previous owners and wanted to try again. The food was sublime. I had a champinon steak that was large and so tender you could cut it with a fork. Amazing champinon sauce. It won't be the last time!

12/03/2025: A very nice restaurant, which we'd happily change our route north for. Excellent food in a lovely atmosphere. Friendly people who make you feel welcome. A bit more selection for vegetarians would be welcome.

09/10/2024: Fantastic cozy place with beautiful views and the most delicious food.

22/02/2025: I like coming there even after the reopening. They don't have food anymore but super good beer.

20/02/2026: Tapas for two. Of course there was a hot dish and bread (light and dark) which is not shown in the picture.. love that place and have ordered from there several times.. can definitely be recommended.

22/06/2025: Ikke særlig serviceorienteret, beskidt og fedt bord , meget visne blomster ( græs) med spindelvæv og edderkopper i . Maden var ok , men meget dyrt. Fældet næsten vi var til besvær .
