02/09/2026: Excellent concept on Thursday! We were delighted with the food and the fair prices. Young, sporty service, very friendly!

23/06/2026: We were two couples who visited the place on a Saturday evening for a 5 course menu. The food is exquisite, excitingly composed of local delicious ingredients where possible, and the wine menu was perfectly matched to the dishes. Definitely a place we can highly recommend. A small note that you must book a table in advance. Follow the restaurant on FB, Instagram or website.

26/06/2026: Mediocre pizza. A little too much cheese, oregano and was a little "bathed in oil"

25/04/2026: Gets a measly star because I can't give 0. Waited 45 minutes - Yes 45 minutes, even though I was repeatedly told they were in the oven and only 5 minutes passed. Super bad experience!

26/07/2026: Very unsatisfactory service. We ordered food for pick-up. I picked up the food (ordered in my wife's name), but the food was delivered to someone else. There was a phone call on the way home. I had reached Egebjerg, but turned the car around and drove back. There I was told that it was actually my own fault that the employee in question had delivered what was intended for someone else (!). She couldn't know all the customers, as she said. Correct, and that's why I also said the name, after which I was supposed to pick up a salad, and about 3 seconds later I was supposed to pick up my box with the rest of the food. Obviously too long for her to remember my name, and that's why I got something wrong. Clearly my own fault !!!!. She couldn't even cough up an apology. This is probably the last time we buy anything from Bone.

19/08/2026: We had the all-you-can-eat option. It was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. They don't skimp on the fish here, which is sometimes the case at other sushi restaurants. Friendly staff! I highly recommend this restaurant.

16/08/2026: Food is ordered via qr-code, service is fast and they are very friendly. You pay at the end. The food is good, lots of choice, prices are quite cheap for Denmark. The only thing that bothered me was the sushi seaweed, which was chewy, otherwise very fresh and tasty. It is located in a nice location between the residences, I recommend it.

22/06/2026: Sorry for showing up 44 minutes before closing and asking whether food is still beeing served, and the reply is a rude .. that the kitchen is closed with an undertone of what i dare to ask. … unfriendly, dont recommend

12/05/2026: A very nice restaurant with incredibly delicious food. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Whenever we're on holiday there, we eat there at least twice. We highly recommend this restaurant. It's a must-visit if you're vacationing in Hummingen. We'll be back soon!

29/08/2026: Very nice atmosphere on a sunny day outdoors. It almost feels like you are in Paris. The food was great, but there weren't many options and the pastries were so and so, hence the 4 stars. The quality/quantity vs price is great though. One of the cheapest brunches/breakfast in copenhagen.

13/09/2026: Paying 1,900 DKK for two people to leave disappointed after being served cherry tomatoes, greasy tagliatelle and some of the most underwhelming food I’ve had in a long time is honestly impressive. I don’t mind spending money on a good restaurant — but this felt like throwing 1,900 DKK straight out the window. The food was genuinely terrible. Nothing we were served was even close to being memorable or particularly good. To make it worse, adding a vegetarian tagliatelle meant paying another 150 DKK on top of an already 500 DKK menu. For what was basically a plate of greasy pasta. We also waited around 15 minutes for a bottle of wine because they had to get it from their other location. Not the end of the world, but when you’re charging these prices, you’d at least expect an apology or some acknowledgement of the wait. I’m not difficult when it comes to restaurants. I don’t need a spectacular atmosphere, white-glove service or someone checking on me every five minutes. But if I go out to eat, it would be to at least to have some tasty food. This wasn’t just overpriced. It was genuinely bad value for money. I’ve had far better meals for a fraction of the price, and I wouldn’t come back even if the menu was half the price, because I would choose a shawarma or a cheeseburger , or a pasta at any place for a 150 DKK other this meal.

13/09/2026: Unfortunately, Famo Saxo was a disappointment in almost every respect. I would give it 1/5 across the board. The service was average at best and, at times, simply rude. We ordered a bottle of wine and then had to wait around 15 minutes because apparently they needed to bring it over from one of their other restaurants. Delays happen, but what bothered us was the complete lack of hospitality: not once did the waitress apologise, acknowledge the wait, or offer us anything in the meantime. Even the water costs 45 DKK per person — for tap water. Not San Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, or another bottled mineral water. Tap water. The base menu was around 500 DKK, and we paid an additional 150 DKK for the tagliatelle with porcini. Unfortunately, the food did absolutely nothing to justify the price. Portions were small and every dish was remarkably average. I have genuinely had better vitello tonnato from Italian supermarkets, and you could probably fly to Italy, buy a good burrata with tomatoes, and still feel like you got better value for money. The porcini tagliatelle were particularly disappointing: plain, heavy and greasy, with what tasted like far more butter than actual porcini. The supposed steak main course was even stranger. What arrived felt more like a piece of toast soaked in fat, topped with what looked like half a filet mignon chopped into small pieces. Calling this a steak course was generous. The wine itself was okay, but again the pricing felt excessive compared with retail prices, and a large part of the wine list was well above 1,000 DKK. For that reason, the 400–1,000 DKK price indication shown on Google did not reflect what our experience of dining here actually cost. And that is really the biggest problem: it isn’t simply about the price. Expensive restaurants can absolutely be worth it when the food, service and atmosphere deliver. Here, none of them did. The entire experience felt painfully average while being priced as something special. If you want genuinely good Italian food and warm Italian hospitality, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Famo Saxo, in my experience, was plain, underwhelming and massively overpriced.
