24/11/2025: We went to the plant bank. And we came a long way and we couldn't have been more satisfied. It's nice that we didn't have to sit alone but together with new acquaintances. And of course it also helps when you win some beautiful plants that have now come home 😁

22/12/2025: Fast service. But despite joking that we wanted the food delivered hot (have previously received cold food). The staff said that our food was freshly made and therefore hot. With about 3 minutes of driving home, the food was already cold when it was supposed to be eaten.

21/12/2025: After a trip to Ribe, we stopped by Burger King. My wife ordered an Ultimate Cheddar Beef without pickles, but when it was delivered to our table, there were pickles in it. The note on the packaging and on the receipt said no pickles, so it was just a mistake, it can happen. Went up to a young lady at the cashier, showed her the receipt and the note as well as the burger and asked if we could have a new one. However, she seemed like she either had a huge hangover or didn't care about her job at all. You could almost hear her rolling her eyes. From our seat we could see how she only threw the paper in the trash, which we joked about was strange. Got a newly wrapped Ultimate Cheddar Beef delivered again, but completely cold and with clear traces of pickles in the cheese, so they had just taken them out of the same burger and given it new paper... Goes up again to the rude young lady and shows her the clear traces of pickles in the burger she just had. She stood there paralyzed for 5 seconds before I said we should have a new burger, not the same one. Had to stand there and watch her throw it in the trash and they made a new one. The new burger was rushed together, despite the fact that there was certainly no rush in any way, so nothing in it was hot, the bacon had not been heated to the bright red color and the cheese had not been melted at all - but without pickles. There was probably just one adult missing from work that day.

12/02/2026: The ambiance is truly wonderful: an old building, appropriately furnished, with a pleasant atmosphere. The service, however, falls far short...everything feels rather wooden. When clearing the table, a spoonful of tomato sauce was dropped and spilled onto my trousers. I received a simple apology and a damp cloth...nothing more: no further inquiry, no offer to clean it up, and no attempt to offer a discount. Finally, the meal (a nine-course menu) was lackluster and tasteless, completely at odds with the initial impression. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

31/05/2025: I found Op La restaurant when searching for “Bun Bo Hue in CPH” on Google. After checking out their menu, I decided to go here even though it’s quite far from where I lived. They not only serve Bun Bo Hue, but also Bo La Lot, and Che Ba Mau which quite hard to find at other Viet restaurants. I didn’t expect to find good Vietnamese restaurant in CPH, but Op La was definitely a pleasant surprise. I ordered Bun Bo Hue, spring roll, Bun Cha Gio thit nuong ( grill pork with egg rolls vermicelli) and homemade lemonade. Everything was delicious and authentic. Service was friendly, fast and welcoming. The restaurant is roomy, clean and well decorated. I love these Non La lightings showcase the Viet dishes. If you want to have authentic Viet dishes, come to Op La Restaurant on Vesterbrogade. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

11/09/2025: Food was amazing, when you order spicy, you get spicy. And the Curry was crazy good. The Naan bread was unfortunately not the best, felt more like regular pita bread to me. But you should absolutely still go for the rest of the menu, highly recommend.

08/02/2026: A long overdue review! This is a beautiful restaurant owned by a lovely caring couple. This was the first restaurant I ate at when I first arrived to Denmark. Being from Mexico I was new to the cuisine but I was on a mission to find Smørrebrød and they had one for lunch that was so good! The owners invited me back for dinner but I was hesitant being a vegetarian. They reassured me I should go for dinner and they surprised me with a full vegetarian menu 😍❤️ The chef even found a potato that looked like a heart 😍 The food was amazing and even though I was eating alone the restaurant ambiance was welcoming and other guests were happy to small talk. It is a restaurant full of love and care. They care about their customers and their food. I ate here many times while in Aarhus and it is top of my list for when I visit again! 19/12/2025: Had a wonderful evening here with friends. The atmosphere was great and very welcoming, perfect for a relaxing night out. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely come back again.

18/12/2025: We had a truly satisfying experience at this restaurant. We ordered the Izakaya menu, which included six courses from appetizer to dessert. We were told that the six dishes change every time, which made the experience even more exciting. During this visit, I was able to enjoy both the restaurant’s sushi and ramen in one meal. As for the other signature dishes, I can’t quite remember their names, but each of them was a pleasant surprise and really impressed me. I would also highly recommend the cocktail “Mother of Passion” — it was delicious and paired perfectly with the food.
