25/07/2026: Nice hotel, VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. Pretty small gym. Hotel very well located. Amazing breakfast!

11/07/2026: I would happily return to Hotel Royal in the fall, winter, or spring. The building is charming (the glass-domed restaurant off the the spiral stair case is a dream), and the staff is warm and attentive. Caveat: air conditioning is not as advertised. The room we paid a premium for had a non-functional unit, and when we went to the desk to report the issue, we had to wait behind guests there to discuss their own malfunctioning A/C. We were offered a credit, but the night of sleep was mostly a loss. It wasn’t an ideal experience, but enough was great that the next time we’re in Århus during a season when the probable high is 20° or less, look for us at the Hotel Royal.

13/06/2026: Take away, so the assessment of atmosphere and service is an impression upon pick-up. The food is very average (overcooked and dry - both skewers with chicken, pork and especially the Greek steak) be aware that the portions are small. A cup with 5 spoonfuls of Tzatziki costs 59, which is horrible.

08/08/2026: Really good Danish food and always a pleasure I regularly come to Den Lille Kabys, partly because I live close by, but it's definitely not just because of that. The food is simply top quality. Here you don't need much advertising - the food sells itself 🇩🇰 There is good, Danish food that tastes as it should. A good pork roast with crispy skin is one of my favorites, for example, and they can also make a good biksemad. You can eat inside or outside, where there is a roof, and you can of course also take the food home. There is simply nothing missing. High praise from here, a perfect place that I would like to come back to again and again.

07/06/2026: Delicious bakery with a good selection and a nice café with plenty of space and coziness. They serve a nice brunch and delicious sandwiches.

12/08/2026: I had a Croque Madame with some escargot to start. The food was wonderful. The service was also excellent -- attentative without being intrusive. Very nice atmosphere. Even love the music (I heard a French language version of one of my favorite songs, the Waters of March). I hope to return to Odense again just to eat here :) ----- 2026 2 years later. I did make it back, this time for dinner. Still amazing. Escargot even better than I remember. Perfect meal.

05/06/2026: The food was really good and delicious. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, we only found out when paying that they only accepted Mobilepay (which we didn't have as tourists) or cash. We were very surprised by this, since you can usually pay by credit card at any small village bakery. So we had to pay in cash with euros. Luckily, we had some euros with us.

08/07/2026: I've tried quite a lot of bakeries in Copenhagen. Honestly, I'm almost inclined to say I've tried them all. And every time I visit a new one, I order the same thing: a classic bun with cheese. I'd had Daniali & Schiøtz Bakery saved on my Google Maps for quite a while, so I finally decided to give it a go. First of all, the service was absolutely amazing. Nice, big bakery, friendly staff, and a really good selection of different baked goods. The bun with cheese, however, left me wanting a bit more. Of course, every bakery has its own style, and that's completely fair. Personally, I like my buns a bit rounder and airier. I also prefer thicker slices of cheese and maybe a slightly different cheese selection. I reckon this was Vesterhavsost, sliced quite thinly. The butter was perfectly fine as well, but nothing particularly memorable. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. It just wasn't special to me. I'm sure a lot of their other pastries are delicious, but I can only rate what I actually had. So for me, this lands at 4 out of 5. I've simply had better buns elsewhere in Copenhagen. More specifically, it comes down to the overall airiness of the bun, the crust-to-crumb ratio, the size, and the cheese selection.

06/07/2026: We were very satisfied with everything. The food was delicious. There were lots of delicious salads, but also sauce and potatoes for those who wanted it. No problem with food for vegans and the very welcoming and smiling hostess was a big reason why we would love to come again

17/05/2026: Cozy place to enjoy your drink of choice with your friends. The place is very well decorated and has a great vibe with a DJ helping to make the atmosphere even better.

18/07/2026: Was at Flammen Ros Torv, and quite disappointed. 15 kinds of meat, not, there were maybe 7 kinds. The potatoes that are purchased ready-cooked (according to the female waiter) were half raw and the kangaroo meat was not chewable..in addition, the cream puffs were not warm at all. I don't think I will spend any more money at Flammen Ros Torv.

21/08/2026: Ugh, I must honestly admit I was blown away, yes it took a while to get your food but it must take some time to get quality, and you can squ bite yourself in the nose that you get that here I got a menu, pita with beef fillet and fries, pita fresh and delicious bread and completely airy, delicious dressing, and the salad completely fantastic choice in standard with both peas and corn and free choice of e.g. jalapenos, red onion or cucumber salad. The fries they were completely crispy and airy and delicious
