05/08/2025: Highly recommend their fantastic coffee table. Inviting and tasty cakes. Smiling and welcoming staff, we felt welcome.

03/08/2025: Cake table. Both a detour and worth the money. Total experience with super, delicious Cake table (incl. Super delicious buns). Warm reception, where you really felt welcome and also seen. Cakes well-made and just like it should be for a cake table in Denmark. Yeast dough, layer cake, baking pan, pies and cookies and everything in between. And at a nice price below value.

02/11/2025: Humiliated for your own money - this is a short summary of visit to so much praised restaurant. We visited this place back in 2021 and now in 2025 I’m still traumatized from the experience. Both me and my husband had hair in one of the dishes, I do not know how is it even possible, but it unfortunately happened. Chef of the restaurant (his photo attached) not only did not come to us to comment something about the hair but scolded the waiter who served the dishes quite harsh in our plain sight. I was astonished how mean he is to his own staff, who I heard are working for free being trainees and taking it as an honor to get experience from such a “respectable” restaurant. For me, it’s just bad, bad culture, wrong values and pure abuse. I just delivered my baby less than a year ago, so I was trying to get back in shape and count calories and out of curiosity I asked how many calories was in the set menu that we ordered. Waiter said that he doesn’t know, but he would ask the chef. Later waiter came back and said: “Chef told me to pass it on to you, it’s not my words, but this is what chef told me to tell you. Our food has half of the Mc Donald’s meal calories” This left me speechless, was the chef also insulting us for asking about his food? Waiter nevertheless apologized and said that they should know the amount of calories, but they do not know it unfortunately. I mean if that’s the case, couldn’t the chef just say so instead of trying to insult and humiliate the guests? This reaction from chef was very telling - guy is full of internal issues and unable to handle his emotions so that he just spits his frustration with aggression towards both staff members and customers. Very sad experience. Totally do not recommend. Even the food is not worth it.

20/08/2025: Dining here was a formidable experience, thanks above all to the staff (both service and kitchen), whose warm service and thoughtful presentation made us feel genuinely welcome. They went out of their way to accommodate food restrictions — we even found some of the gluten-free variations more flavorful than the originals. The fish smell of one dish was otherworldly, something I’d happily bottle as a perfume. Pricing is very fair for smaller bites like aperitifs, while the ambitious 15-course menu is certainly a commitment in every dimension (culinary, attention span, financial, ...). The mixed wine-juice pairing was a highlight, with juices adding a creativity and diversity that outshines many wine lists, even alongside some wonderfully unusual bottles.

28/11/2025: Delicious food and friendly service – highly recommended! We ate at the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, and the quality was consistently good. The sushi selection is solid and offers everything you could want from a modern sushi restaurant – not overwhelming, but exactly the classics and favorites you enjoy. We found it particularly convenient that you can order both all-you-can-eat and à la carte. This way, everyone can eat exactly the way they want. A big compliment to the service as well: The staff was incredibly friendly, explained everything to us patiently, and answered all our questions. This is especially helpful if it's your first time there – and contributes to feeling comfortable right away. Overall, a really good restaurant with delicious food, relatively high prices, and a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

03/08/2025: Friendly waiter welcomed us. 2 small “free” appetizers were served. Chicken souffle in delicious dressing, sashimi with sorbet. Haps haps! Then began a fantastic journey through a 7 course menu. Just the smell of each dish that was served was amazing. The appearance was a pure delight. The taste was so adapted that you could taste all the ingredients in the dish - the salt and pepper were not necessary. Great to know this art - to adapt to everyone's taste buds. Because it is an art! So 5 ⭐️ from us and clearly to you out there. Have a Bacchus and enjoy it, just enjoy it!

02/08/2025: Lovely evening in good company. The male waiter was however very busy changing our dishes a little too quickly. He was not present and not very hospitable. The young man who presented our dishes was to U.G Before we had even finished, the male waiter came with our bill, and we had to point out that we were not finished, and had not ordered payment. That service is not okay when you pay almost 3,000 kr for an evening. We were there on August 2, 2025 The food was absolutely fantastic.

13/10/2025: For a very ordinary and classic grill bar, it was a really good and cozy experience to eat there. You got what you expected and knew, but with a little more, at a very nice price. Service and mood were top notch from the owner!

09/09/2025: Good food and lovely happy service

28/09/2025: Came here with my brother as he'd heard great reviews about the ramen. Unfortunately we were left pretty disappointed and underwhelmed with the food. We may be a tougher crowd to please than the lines of predominantly tourists who were lined up waiting for seats as I've lived in Asia for more than a decade and we've traveled and had many an excellent bowl of ramen over the years. Shoyu ramen: Whilst the broth was quite good boasting a deep, rich flavour, the thin noodles arrived already a bit overdone meaning they got increasingly soft whilst finishing the bowl. The chasu was lacking in depth of flavor, was dry and not charred to bring out the characteristic taste of a chasu. The mushroom paste was a nice touch but didn't make up for the letdown on the noodles and chasu. Nduja Miso ramen: Ordered this specifically due to the base broth being advertised as a Tori Paitan, which traditionally boasts rich, creamy and deep flavors. Unfortunately these nuances were either completely overpowered by the Nduja miso tare or as I suspect perhaps not present in the broth from the outset. The lemon anchovy dressing drizzled on a couple of baby spinach leaves were a nice touch albeit may not be for everyone's palate. The plus of this bowl was the thicker noodles which were cooked well and still retained springyness and toothsome-ness. Whilst eating out in Copenhagen is expectedly pricey, at 175,- and 185,- per bowl, we'll definitely not be visiting Slurp again.

04/12/2025: Clean. Comfy. No nonsense. No frills. Not unlike many other northern European hotels I've been to over the last decade or so. Note that the restaurant isn't open for dinner. You'll need to catch an Uber to the town centre if you're peckish after visiting Legoland for the day.

01/12/2025: Overall it's fine, except the part where the radiators were freezing at night, with the radiators however, I was also freezing, you couldn't adjust the temperature. The saunas were... cold. The women's one didn't even work but we managed to curl up into the mens one. The water in the pool was kind of cold. The breakfast was fine, however with Billund and everything it was very crowded with children. Overall it's fine, just make sure you get the room with the warm radiators before the winter.

22/11/2025: It was a super nice evening, everyone was in high spirits and there was conversation, even though we didn't know each other.

08/10/2025: Clearly the best Burger in town. Really good quality of ingredients, fantastic composition of the burger. 10/10 service. 110% Yummy

13/09/2025: The chicken burger was delicious – juicy, full of flavor, and loaded with great toppings. The portion was big, the price was fair. I tried the beef burger last time that was amazing as well and I’ll definitely be coming back!
