12/08/2026: When delicious food and really good wines are combined with attentive service in really cozy new and authentic surroundings, it can only be a wonderful experience. The location close to both Jyderup station, Jyderup Skov and Naturpark Åmosen also makes it an obvious destination. Thanks to the host couple and service for a wonderful evening.

24/07/2026: The food is overall really tasty. My favourite is the fried chicken burger because the bun is great, the chicken is fried very well and is really tasty, and the sauce is just great too. The fries are also really tasty and the fried chicken nuggets are also really good. They also have some of the best milkshakes and lemonade. I also do recommend getting a mini burger over a normal one because it’s cheaper but still big enough for a proper lunch or dinner.

03/07/2026: Last evening we went to Jagger to have some milkshakes and they were absolutely perfect! Super tasty and creamy. We had a chocolate and a salted caramel, and i think the second one was one of the best caramel milkshake i ever had. The girl to the cash desk was really polite and full of energy, i really liked her vibes.

22/08/2026: Tap water used to be free, and beers were on the menu without any additives. Now, bottled water is expensive. Plus, there's now a discount reserved only for locals, which I honestly wonder... was it necessary? The ramen is okay, but given these changes, we'll go elsewhere.

16/08/2026: Used to be among the best Ramen in town. Not cheap and athentic Japanese, but delicious. The free tap water was this distinct added value that balanced the price. Now tap water was replaced with overpriced water in plastic bottles. Was this greed and waste really necessary?

09/07/2026: Nice little café with a good selection of food and drinks. I had a burrata sandwich that was delicately prepared and very good. The coffee was excellent (a flat white for me), and the service was friendly.

17/05/2026: We have been there a lot and online their breakfast buns a lot. Sadly the quality changed over the time but the reason for my feedback are 3 experiences we had lately within a group of mum Friends and as a Family. Our 1 year old was not welcome to drink out of his water bottle (I also ordered some milk for him), because we are not allowed to bring anything from outside. Another time I was there with a toddler and highly pregnant buying a coffee to go. Around 15 min later I asked to urgently use their toilet (pregnancy bladder) and was told that only playing clients are allowed to use that service. Although I mentioned that I just bought something and am willing to just pay for the toilet use, I was told I have to find another place. We thought that over all they were quite arrogant and the tone cleary told us that we are not welcome here. We will choose another Café, as the food and coffee is good average, which can be found many places in Køge.

30/07/2026: Lovely restaurant with a great location in the harbor with a nice view of the fjord. Had a salmon sandwich, which was fresh and tasted good.

27/08/2026: London Pub is a really cozy and authentic pub in the middle of Boulevarden in Aalborg. Here you get a classic English pub atmosphere, a good selection of beers – including specialty beers – and a relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for a drink with friends or a quiet evening on the town. It is an obvious place if you want to watch football, enjoy a good beer or sit outside at the many tables and feel the city life on Boulevarden. The pub is centrally located and has long opening hours: Monday 12:00–22:00, Tuesday–Thursday 12:00–24:00, Friday–Saturday 12:00–02:00, while it is closed on Sunday. Can definitely be recommended to anyone who prefers a good pub atmosphere, specialty beers and a more relaxed alternative to the big nightclubs.

22/08/2026: Today I went at this restaurant with my family. It is very close to strategic points for boat trips and bus stops. Me and my mother ordered two Fish and Chips and my father ordered a "Shooting Star". The food was delicious and the staff delivered exceptionally prompt service.

11/07/2026: Professionalism Is What Happens When Things Almost Go Wrong People often judge hotels by what happens when everything goes according to plan. I don’t. I judge them by what happens when they think something has gone wrong. Some time ago, mu wife and I were enjoying the seven-course tasting menu when, after the third course, I jokingly remarked that it had been a rather small piece of meat. A few moments later the waiter asked whether everything was alright. My wife smiled and said everything tasted wonderful, but that I might have been hoping for a little more meat. The waiter quietly nodded and disappeared. A couple of minutes later he returned with the head waiter. Suddenly our table became the centre of a perfectly choreographed operation. Plates disappeared. New plates arrived. Steak knives appeared from nowhere. The table was reset with almost military precision. It was obvious they were preparing to serve me a complimentary beef tenderloin. I was genuinely impressed. Then reality caught up with all of us. We hadn’t even reached the main course yet. The “small piece of meat” had simply been course number three. The actual main course—a magnificent quail—was still on its way. We all laughed, the table was restored, and dinner continued as if nothing had happened. But here’s the thing. I’ve spent much of my career working with large organisations and complex projects. What impressed me wasn’t the misunderstanding. It was the response. Nobody argued. Nobody tried to explain why I was wrong. Nobody waited for a manager’s approval. Their instinct was simply: “A guest might leave disappointed. Let’s fix it immediately.” You cannot fake that. That isn’t good service. That’s culture. The food was outstanding. The setting is beautiful. But the professionalism of the team is what I still remember. That’s rare.

09/06/2026: Was at a conference with overnight stay. Beautiful hotel with an atmosphere of the "old" days with nice decor. Service was faultless and the room was nice and clean. There are also good parking options close to the hotel at a reasonable price. Or free a few minutes walk away.
