24/10/2025: The place where silence smells of coffee and every mug preaches a sermon on simplicity. It was 11:17, the sun was slowly rising over Ringsted, and Els was sitting across from me in her leather jacket from the Etsy shop Johnny’s Vintage & Leathers—as if she’d just stepped out of a Scandinavian arthouse film. She said, “Harm, this isn’t a café. This is a sacred space with milk froth.” And she was right. Soft jazz played inside, the barista smiled Danish-style—friendly, but without emotion. The cappuccino was creamy, the air dry, the atmosphere as tight as a new belt. I thought of Etsy, of craftsmanship, of how leather lives and coffee does the same: it ages well, gains depth, character, patina. Els leafed through a Danish advertising brochure as if it were a holy book. She pointed to a selection of chairs and said, "Look, Harm, leather is everywhere, except where it belongs." I nodded, stroked my genuine leather cuff, and thought of Johnny's Vintage & Leathers—how every product has a human quality, a warmth in a world that increasingly resembles a showroom. Café Ingeborg isn't a hotspot, not a trendy filter bubble. It's a place where time goes to get coffee. Where the aroma of beans and leather merge into one thought: it's not about new, but about authenticity.

26/10/2025: Washroom 1 should be avoided. It does not wash your car, brown water droplets all over the car after washing, and destroys the car paint with large and deep scratches. The headlight washer cover was also completely destroyed. This happened at station Kettevej, washroom 1, budget wash program. Do not wash your car here. In addition, the company does not respond to inquiries in writing, chat or phone. I know this must go on your own insurance, but here too the company that causes damage to your car will not be able to help with the paperwork. Again, do not wash your car here.

01/11/2025: It's good food but maybe a little too big the service was very good quick for so much 😜 The waiting time is good 15 minutes for so much the atmosphere is good and fun 🤩

11/01/2026: Came here in a big boiler after a wild city tour with Decimus my homeboy and Allan the strong, an associated friend of Decimus, as long as he can drink beer we are friends, when but came here when I needed some breakfast and possibly a couple of repair beers for both legs, ordered breakfast several times as it felt like I was dead hungry, of course also had to make good friends with the toilets, when but otherwise a cool place and toilet, could do with better toilet paper Shoot out to Absalon

20/12/2025: Went to a private party - 75th birthday on December 20, 2025. The main course was culotte roast with mashed potatoes and red wine sauce. The chef should be fired if it had been me who had held the party I would consider having the chef fired if it had been possible. It was disgusting.

18/04/2026: Nice relaxing holiday, super good service. It would be nice if the craftsmen's cars were directed to the parking lot far from the inn and not just outside the rooms.

09/09/2025: A fantastic cozy hotel. We were welcomed by the sweetest staff. The rooms were great. The breakfast buffet was so delicious with everything homemade!

07/09/2025: We had invited two guests to Kallehavegaard Badehotel's restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant and went up to the bar to be shown our table. The interior itself was nice and in a "bathhouse style" There were other guests at tables, and the waiter was a young girl who clearly had not been prepared for the task - she was confused. We were given a menu that was actually dirty and needed to be changed. We had considered 3 dishes according to the chef's choice, but it became clear that we did not want chicken for the main course. The waiter was confused and did not know what the different dishes on the menu contained. She left our table several times, clearly irritated. At the table behind us, 4 guests leave the restaurant shaking their heads without having been allowed to order food? We decide to have a side dish for a starter and a whole fried plaice for the main course. We also ask about IPA beer, but she does not know if they have it? Which she investigates, she comes back and says that bottled beer was not delivered. We end up with large draft beers. We wait for our draft beer which is just not served? Then the food comes and the waiter starts talking about the sauce there and pours it over the fish, we interrupt her and say have we still not had our draft beer? (We wanted to toast our guests BEFORE the food came). She leaves the table, My husband goes to the bar himself and says that now we want our drinks, he brings the 3 beers himself and finally the young waiter comes with the last ones. She is clearly irritated. The starter is good and fresh. We discover that one of our guests has had a Classic draft beer in a 0.5 glass and another a 0.6 glass? The main course is served and the fish is well prepared with nice accessories. The toilet is missing toilet paper and the towel is very wet. When we have finished the main course, the chef comes with cookies as a combination that we did not get our drinks. He says we can also have coffee or dessert but we decline the offer. He says he was the one who sent the starter to us before we had drinks……but we had waited so long that it was embarrassing for our guests??? I go up to pay, and the young waiter is still very irritated and seems angry. She doesn't ask if we had a good evening or anything. She just throws the payment machine on the counter. Does the display say if you want to tip? I didn't… It was a shameful experience, but the food was good.

21/10/2025: Really good quality kebab, it doesn't take very long before you get your food, even with a queue! So good

09/08/2025: Good quality and fresh. Great selection of vegetarian dishes. The curry was really tasty with nice veg, could have had more tofu in there though. Veg spring roll seemed handmade not the regular frozen ones you get most places. Overall great experience.

11/04/2025: Varies extremely in quality. Sometimes it's sickly delicious, other times it's ultra mid / low tier.

11/10/2025: Love Emdrup Bodega. Found this gem through a good friend. Invited the lady next Thursday for: 3 unspecified pieces of smørrebrød incl. a beer - 95DKKK! And the waiter, Carsten, there aren't many more of him in the dozen, my dear. Kh Eddie from Indre Nørrebronx & Lone from Bkegdammen 👍🏼🍻❤️✨️

23/12/2025: Really good food. Big portions and really nice staff. Highly recommended, have lived in Farum for many years and have really enjoyed it.

12/09/2025: Lee’s Kitchen is sooo nice! The food tastes amazing, you get huge portions, and the people there are super nice. 100% a place you should check out!

18/01/2026: We passedby asked if we could have something to drink and maybe some bites. A young girl pointed to a corner where we could pick a table ourselves. After 15-20 minutes we left without any further contact with the waitresses. They never came by and we had a lot of neighbors with empty glasses and dirty tables. Upon leaving there where just three girls busy talking to eachother behind the cashier, that they didn't even notice us leaving.

11/01/2026: It's really slow going and the waiters are just standing around drinking coffee.

30/11/2025: Really good food and atmosphere, we where there for our companies Xmas dinner. How ever it was a bit chaotic when I checked in. First the receptionist said room 24 instead of 42, not a big problem it can happen if you switch between Danish and english. Then room 42 had no key so they moved me to room 1, no problem they solved this quick. BUT when I went to bed very late at around 0:30, someone was moving furniture around in the room over me for at least half an hour. Who does that in the middle of the night?

18/11/2025: There was one minus and a very big one. We were a large group. The food was paid in advance, but we had to pay for drinks individually and that via room number/name, but there was no control at all and the prices of the drinks were not cheap. If I were to come there again for an overnight stay, I insist that it be with payment with what was ordered, so that you don't end up paying for something you haven't drunk. It gives a bad atmosphere when the accounts don't match, both ways. Boring on an otherwise good experience. It's generally a bit cold in the place, but it's a really cozy place.

11/10/2025: Got an Aperol Spritz... Probably the one with the most ice cubes, sparkling water and the least prosecco we've ever had..Yes a VERY thin Aperol spritz. Thought it was part of their offer of 2 drinks of the same... But no it wasn't part of the offer.. oh well!! Friendly service. Cute young girls. VERY loud music at 4:30 PM.. actually hard to talk to my partner.. And we don't understand why it's necessary for all employees to wear headsets.. Seems like they're trying to be something they don't have to be. We will NOT be back. Not even to eat.
