02/07/2025: Delicious organic food in the heart of Brande

12/06/2025: Would strongly advise against this place. You have to look for arrogance and bad service for a long time. We are a company of 15 people who book rooms and food. The first night in the restaurant, there are no more bottles of the wine that is on the menu. The excuse is that they are not on the summer menu yet ... in mid-June !!!. We are not allowed to sit at the bar and order, as there is company coming. Nor are we allowed to sit outside. The next day is even worse. Here again we are asked to leave the bar as another company is coming. Again we are refused outside service. We eat out in the city and come back and want to use the cellar. Again we are told that we cannot, as it is rented out. We ask for other service or outside service. But no. We tell them that we are actually staying overnight. With an arrogant answer from the owner/manager.. yes I know that.. but you can't get anything. The company has thrown away over 50,000 kr in 3 days and is then given miserable treatment. Everyone... stay far away from that "hotel".

28/02/2026: I got the sweet potato fries DBL Bacon Cheese Burger. The wait was okay, considering that half the place was full when I arrived. Plus, it was like seeing the seatbelt light on a 3 hour delayed flight to Thailand with all 200 Wolt men arriving and leaving the place. The sweet potato fries get a 7/10 because I have a huge love for the taste of these fries. However, they could have used a little hotter oil or a different wrapper as they weren't super crispy anymore when they hit the table. The burger was delicious, incredibly delicious actually. You could taste the components and the overall experience was a 12. Be sure that if you order dip, a single serving is not enough, as their dip sizes are enough for a single french fry. The cheddar dip was undernourished by cheese, but the chili mayo was hot enough to wake up a tired man from a long day. They sell Odense Classic on site, so that already has a place in my heart. Another thing I absolutely love about this place is the quiet atmosphere and that they serve the food on A PLATE WITH A STEAK KNIFE AND FORK! Overall experience is 9/10 only because I have never experienced a 10/10! Would you drive for that? YES! Would you pay for that? YES! Did it make a tired man happy? YES THANK YOU

21/03/2026: Terrible service and food waiting 1 hour for them to take my order and half an hour to get my food which was still burnt. Not recommended at all take meyzen next door instead much better quality and service and food👍

10/11/2025: The food tasted really good, the service is good, the atmosphere is good, good view of the Limfjord and the toilets are clean. Can highly recommend the place.

24/10/2025: Very cosy café with an excellent location placed directly on the harbour front pier. They serve a wide selection of burgers, salads and in the evening many different main dishes too. To drink you can choose between many beers, cocktails, smoothies , juices and sodas. We ordered the 'chicken Katzy burger' and the 'Smokey BBQ burger, both tasting excellent. The prices are a little bit high. The atmosphere is great but keep in mind you only have a 2 hour window for enjoying everything. I recommend this cafe primarely for the view and atmosphere.

12/09/2025: Cheap, but not particularly good sushi.

31/08/2025: Food was good. Many sushi options. But we had to wait 30 mins in between our orders. we tried ad libitum option which gives you 2 hours of unlimited sushi but we waited 30 mins with no food after our 2nd order. i suggest you order a a big menu twice so even if they are busy thing like this wont happen.

12/10/2025: The food is nice but the wait time is simply absurd. They say 25-30 minutes but you only get your food after an hour.

11/10/2025: Update: The mysterious charge has gone up, and there's further a fee for eating in the restaurant, which will be applied even when you order takeaway. They also will refuse to give you a receipt. I will not be coming back, and hopefully the authorities will eventually send them to court. The food has also gone downhill in quality, so I might as well. The food is alright, but the prices are not quite transparent, and they will often charge you a few DKK for nothing in particular on the receipt. It will have a line for the food, a line for the bag, and then a line for unspecified. The service is ... effective, and direct. And loud, and might seem very rude to some people. Including myself.

01/12/2025: Pastries were nice, location quite adorable but the coffee mediocre and also served as on the image. Firstly I received coffee with milk (i asked for oat milk), and then after receiving that blaming look, the waiter started preparing my flat white. Then, I got a glass with coffee and almost no oat milk pushed towards me like they're doing a favor... really disappointing attitude and coffee was not tasty. 💔 Will come back to try brunch as the location is lovely but seriously, maybe these people need team building activities cause customers don't deserve such attitude 😐 I come to recharge and have a lovely time and not to waste my energy on someone's bad day...

10/11/2025: Food was good but service is terrible. My white friend was served positively with a smile, whereas the same staff member served me, a non-white person, very coldly. Racism in 2025 should not be tolerated! Shame on this establishment for allowing this to happen.

26/12/2025: Order food as usual, came home and 2 things were missing. (again). Called them. The 26th of December. At 9:45 p.m. of course they start nicely. You can just come and pick it up. So I said. That's probably the 5th time. Something is missing. Then you can't send it with Wolt. So you guys just put it on. Congratulations. Then they just earned 100kr again.

19/11/2025: Nice McDonald's. I can see there have been many improvements over the years. I have deleted my first review as they clearly deserve a new one with more stars. The staff provide good service and when I got the wrong burger, they quickly gave me the right one and I got to keep the other one. Good parking options. Clean premises, kitchen and toilets.

24/10/2025: With my friends we had so much fun at the Dart Room! Also the drinks and the service was excellent! And good price-quality ratio. Definitely we are gonna come back 💛

29/09/2025: This bar is a super chill and cosy place to go for a drink. I went with my colleagues, and we had a fun night with plenty of cocktails. The drinks were solid – nothing over the top or mind-blowing, but definitely decent. You can tell they’ve put some thought and care into the menu

08/02/2026: I was there for afternoon tea, it was very underwhelming, the sandwiches were dry and the portions were incredibly small, in addition the service was boring and uninspiring. The statue outside in front of Marienlyst was perhaps the highlight. We bought bubbles, which were served in a water bath and we had to pour ourselves.

02/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Brasserie 1861 and chose their 5-course menu and it was a true taste experience from start to finish. We started with snacks, where the tin of pearls of trout roe, smoked creme fraiche and blinis in particular was both fun and refined, with a wonderful balance between the smoky and the fresh. The foie gras tart with blackcurrants and Madeira was intense and deep in flavor, while the caramelized onion butter with Manitoba bread was irresistibly delicious. The cold-smoked halibut with beets, mustard seeds and saffron was delicate and perfectly balanced light smoke, sweetness from the beets and an elegant touch of spice. The lobster with parsley root and apples was a highlight: fresh, creamy and with a lovely contrast between the sweet and the sour. The veal tenderloin with Jerusalem artichokes, walnuts and sherry sauce was incredibly tender and full of warm, deep flavours, a classic dish taken to a new level. The dessert with white chocolate, dark chocolate, burnt almonds and cherries rounded off the menu perfectly with both sweetness, bitterness and crunch. All in all, a complete experience with high quality, beautiful dishes and flavours that really played together. Brasserie 1861 is highly recommended for an evening where you want to treat yourself to good food and fine ingredients.

31/12/2025: A disappointing experience, and very much in line with what other reviewers have also noted. An older gentleman behind the counter who really knows how to do “bad customer service”. He was capable of delivering in his sour remarks, and was decidedly conflict-seeking. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this in terms of crazy service, and I really hope that the manager at the station considers firing him. I have just created a complaint with Circle K, as I believe that something should be done here. It is not the customers' fault that the man is completely unfit for customer service.

22/11/2025: It could have been so good. Nice setting. The experience is ruined by lazy waiters who don't clear the tables and the clearing area where guests can leave their used dishes. It's too bad and gives a really bad impression! Especially when the same lazy waiters don't go around clearing the tables - where the dishes are necessarily left behind! PRACTICE

22/11/2025: Basically a cozy cafe - the food was ok. Lots of young girls at work, but the atmosphere was ruined by the overcrowded sales table which was not emptied, despite many girls going outside with drinks for guests.
