03/07/2025: Good and cozy location - BUT I have to admit that the place really needs to be refreshed. Also seems to come to wrinkled "plastic" tablecloths that have been used far too many times looks a bit annoying. Maybe a piece of disposable paper could be used instead that could be changed after each party. It would be more appetizing and inviting. I think it's a shame that the building is so worn out. I think a coat of paint would do wonders. The food is good old-fashioned chrome food. Friendly and accommodating staff.

28/03/2026: Good pizza, but ordered a Hawaiian pizza and got a Hawaiian pizza without pineapple. So that was a bit of a shame.

04/12/2025: The food was okay, the service was absolutely terrible.

02/10/2025: We ordered soft-serve ice cream. It was terrible. The ice cream was sour. It was best thrown away. A health hazard!

20/09/2025: Lydolph is not what it once was; cozy, nice, magnificent. We were served tasteless (not to say tasteless) soft ice cream from a dilapidated shop that was almost empty of goods - the remaining ones looked like something that had exceeded its expiration date. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Lydolph ice cream shop in Gilleleje and I will not be back.

23/12/2025: A lovely Vietnamese grill, unfortunately only opens at 4:00 PM every day including weekends.

21/12/2025: Delicious food. Have had food delivered from there for the last 5 years and will continue to have it delivered to my home.

30/11/2025: A really fun place to visit. There are free-ranging animals, lots of plants and oceans of seeds from all over the world, including species that are not available anywhere else. Shop with all sorts of rarities, fruit and vegetables from the farm and elsewhere. Everything is organic, authentic and natural. The café was open and we had woolly pig stew with sauerkraut, spicy apple chutney, coarse mustard and bread with butter. A really delicious lunch at a very reasonable price.

20/05/2025: Pretty decent Pizzas have ordered around 10 times by now, everytime good food and not so oily as many other pizza joints.

15/12/2025: We had to wait a long time for the food and go up to the counter and ask for it ourselves. And voila, it came. It seemed as if they hadn't thought about serving either. Before we left, I pointed out to a young 'waiter' that I had dropped my knife on the floor and that there was mashed potatoes that others could step on. The answer was: "Well, for Satan!" That's a VERY rude answer and not worthy of a waiter. My answer to him was that I didn't think we should involve Satan in it😉

12/11/2025: I had a very bad experience at this place, if you can call it a "restaurant". This applies to the food, the service, the staff and the place in general. In the summer it's like an oven, you can die from the heat, and in the winter it's like a refrigerator. There are a few places to sit, but it's impossible to sit quietly and relax because the place is so small that everyone who passes by bumps into you. I ordered a burger and fries... The fries were overcooked and tasteless, and the burger tasted, without exaggeration, as if it was made of cigarettes. Tobacco cigarettes. Have you ever eaten a burger made of cigarettes? I recommend visiting Salat og Burger to try it. I noticed how they prepare the food - they don't use gloves at all. That is, you first pay for the food and then eat other people's sweat and dirt left on the food. The staff... That's a completely different topic. Salat og Burger is a place where you can be humiliated and ignored if you don't speak Danish. In other words, they don't welcome tourists. If you ask: "Do you speak English?", they will answer: "You are in Denmark! No! We only speak Danish." And they will say this to you in a rude, humiliating way. Generally, the owner or an employee, a man with glasses, can send you away, shout at you and ruin your mood for no reason. Waste of money and time, questionable hygiene, lack of comfort, humiliation, shouting and bad mood are guaranteed.

13/07/2025: Not so fresh dishes in the buffet, and very oily food. The stir-fry dishes were the best, but I was unsure how long the meat had been sitting out.. :)

23/06/2025: Really bad food, tasteless, meat with tendons and cartilage, 'salad bar' was not fresh. It was very hot and stuffy, and when we got home our clothes stank of deep fryers. All in all a boring experience....

04/11/2025: Unfortunately, their food wasn't as good as we expected. The fish and chips weren't great; the fish wasn't tasty at all. The fried calamari was greasy and dry. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice.

02/11/2025: We had lunch in the countryside, an expensive lunch for someone who only ate hamburgers and fries. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is tasty. The only downside is the exorbitant price, but everything here is extremely expensive.

27/04/2025: I had a slightly soggy burger in a place that felt like a brutal art installation—no music, just everyone's voices bouncing off plain white walls and industrial concrete floor.

11/12/2025: For the last 7 years, we have been coming regularly. Primarily always ordering the same thing after they got a new chef, the dishes we used to have been changed, but not adjusted in their menu. So you expect to get the usual, but end up with something different and a completely different price than what was on the menu. The last time we were there we found mussel shells in one of the dishes, which ruined our appetite quite a bit. Not just one piece was found but five pieces. Didn't eat any more after that. The owner was contacted, where he said it was incredible that we could find it because they only used canned mussels. Full price was paid and more than what we had expected, based on the prices on the menu. We will take a very long break from here, if we ever return

02/11/2025: It took over an hour to get our food and it was even wrong, when we finally got the correct order the pizza was half raw. Can't recommend this place to anyone. Nothing was in order this evening.
